  • Fight for humanity, Illusive man!

  • one day in the future however long it may be there will be no enemys from other parts of the world. then the nice guys like martin sheen can win there arguement without putting national security at risk.

  • martin sheen is a nice guy he thinks we can have the ideal world and refuses to accept allong with his son that the administration is right. shut up and get behind the cannon.

  • Mr. Wannabe president: You can't hold a candle to the Bush family. Why don't you sit down with Charlie and found out what the hell he's so angry about? Something to do with neglect when he was growing up? Both of you have grandiose egos and frankly I am so tired of having to watch the Sheen Soap Opera.

  • Martin Sheen: the man talks sense. shame about charlie, I used to like him but now he's gone way off the rails. domestic violence, shooting his ex wife??? damn!

  • smart man, i have new respect for him. It is the duty of every American to question their government. WE ARE THE GOVERNMENT ! Our elected representatives are supposed to answer to US ! We are their boss . Keep speaking out, Mr. Sheen, people are listening.

  • I really wish Sheen would at least entertain the idea of running for President.

I read he could never do it because he's a self-described pacifist, which I respect, but I really do wish he would run none the less.

He is smart, articulate, friendly, and cares for his country and his country's people, as well as having a good grasp of international issues.

What a shame we don't live in the West Wing World.

  • @Cnd1867 Yes, he'd make a great President... trouble is, they'd arrange a trip for him down Dealey plaza in a open toped motorcade.....!

  • probably the best pretend president of all time.

  • Okay here's something worth listening to: Bush and Cheney personally profited from 9-11, lied to you about it, and managed to sustain the longest, most grueling 8 years I ever want to live through.

If you want to persecute me for thinking that, I couldn't give a sh*t.

I'm here exercising my first amendment rights, after spending 9 years watching that administration urinate on those rights.

  • @8messa AMEN!!!!

  • me thinks this sheen character is a phony. likening obama to kennedy is about the stupidest thing i have heard him say. he may well be "a bag boy sent by grocery clerks."

  • As opposed to the absolute BS of the current jerk?

    "Open" Honest" OBAMA???

    BWAHAHAHAHAHAH

  • President Bartlett FOR A THIRD TERM - 2012

  • @Reqrezentin

    Ron Paul

  • @missionaryoffaith ...DITTO!

  • That's because you have a simplistic view of what Democrats stand for. Its not your fault though, but you really should stop listening to Right Wing commentary. Democrats don't like UNNECESSARY wars, such as the Iraq War. Everyone (Democrats included) pretty much agrees Afghanistan was a NECESSARY war. OBama said this many times during his campaign so this should come as no surprise. Oh, and the torture bit? Obama issued an executive order to end it. Got anything else?

  • Martin Sheen really should run for President. He's said he's not interested but he is even better in real life than in fiction.

  • im surprised he hasnt been killed

  • GO MARTIN SHEEN! :D

  • Love him!

  • @Midnightse7en do you read this crap before you post, why the fuck is everyone that deosnt agree with pricks like you a 'cock sucker like obama'.

  • Open, honest, receptive, intelligent......this describes obama....how?

  • Great. Just great.

  • To think such a intelligent and noble man gave birth to Charlie

  • i didnt know a man could give birth

  • @rlkosty Touche

  • Right on Mr. Sheen!

  • "DELIBERATELY failed the entrance exam at U of Dayton"

    Of course ...

And the check IS in the mail.

And I promise NOT to come in your mouth.

  • Beeing patriotic means to love your country... not your government.

A father who loves his family, will do what's best for them, not what they want him to do. (at least not on important matters).

To call it patriotic if you support someone who is harming your country is just pathetic.

  • "He's smart..."

Yeah, he's your typical left-winger -- he barely got through high school with a C+ average, failed the entrance exam for university, and his SATs were too low to even get him in a community college.

No wonder the liberals slobber and hump his leg at every opportunity.

By their standards, he's a genius.

  • @HughJorgaan

Sheen DELIBERATELY failed the entrance exam at U of Dayton because he desperately wanted to pursue his acting career. Not the first time a youngster has done that and it certainly won't be the last... btw, he NEVER applied to any community colleges.

  • @stop being such an idiot. you know nothing about martin sheen. in 2008 he won the the Laetare Medal for merit from Notre Dame University, he is very involved with the University of Daytona, and when promiment democracts pushed for him running for Senate he stood up and said 'I don't believe I'm qualified.' he didn't want to go to college, he wasn't rejected. he was the 2003 recipient of the Marquette University Degree of Doctor of Letters, for his work on social and Catholic issues.

  • Kudos to Martin Sheen and Charlie Sheen and all the celebs speaking out and asking the questions we all want answered. They have access to platforms in the media that we regular people do not and they are using them to ask these questions, to wake up the people. In the fight that is coming in the future, against RFID chips, one world government and the few rich people that will control the whole world according to their agenda of profit. Celebs must take their role and wake up the nations.

  • follywood sucks duck balls

  • Sheen is an actor and a good one at that. So he's able to get on tv etc and voice his opinion. You may not agree with his opinion. Point is, if you had the chance to do the same thing, would do better in front of the cameras? Would you risk people calling you the same BS that others on here spray in gay abandon? I'd suggest, that the "no" answer would proliferate. My wife is calling me. I just told 1 minute, someone on the internet is wrong.

  • , we should be fihelp. "do the right thing."

  • Shhh. Calm down, folks. Matin Sheen Hasn't hurt you. His opinions are nearly, if not just, as valid as yours.

Let's also try to remember that sarcasm is always the lowest form of wit.

  • he's awesome. also, it's so weird how charlie sheen and emilio estevez look so different from each other, yet look so much like martin, their father.

  • This is a good argument for eugenics.

When you allow low-IQ alcoholics like Martin Sheen to breed, you're bound to get submoronic, chronic addicts ... like the pathetic losers he's spawned already.

  • "Sheen's qualifications ... "Well, I once played a President on TV."

The fruitcake Left isn't concerned with someone actually being qualified for anything. They just have to mouth the correct "progressive" platitudes to be considered sophisticated and erudite.

Look at Obama -- never actually ran anything except a welfare racket that scammed government grants for the undeserving masses. Never made a payroll, never had to turn a profit ... never ran so much as a 7-Eleven or a lemonade stand.

  • You don't need any special qualifications to express an opinion. Every citizen should expect a lot from government: the government works for us. All Martin Sheen is doing here is criticizing the Bush administration for not doing enough for the environment and for alternative energy.

  • "There's no way that I could be the president. You can't have a pacifist in the White House ... I'm an actor. This is what I do for a living."

  • @Bulldog7046 and let's not forget GW Bush's qualifications and he ran the place once. His business dealings were amazing. GW was about the only person in history to lose money in the oil business. The Reps had to meddle with the voting system to win.

    So what was GW's qualifications?

  • "what was GW's qualifications?"

Governor of the second-biggest State in the Union.

And so far I've never seen anything showing he lost money in the oil business, either.

Find any other President who has not run either a State, a major corporation, or served in the military (Bush actually did all three).

  • @Underwood4321

the point is, should you really have someone running the country with only his profits from a major corporation in mind? Because thats what Bush did. He is deceiving all of you into believing propaganda. WAKE UP

  • And that AFTER these clowns have spewed forth all kinds of conspiracy trash upon the world...

No one should mention their wife beating ways lol...

  • y'know it's funny all these actors talk about politics when they sit about millions of dollars and rarely even help out those in need.

  • @WMUnited do you know how many times Martin has been arrested for protesting about things he believes in? Lets all find a better response then people having money. Tell me, if you were doing really well would you give it all to charity? hmmm i think not. he does more than most

  • Sheen is a low life woman beating piece of shit. What a pillar....

    Dont be an idiot!

  • That's CHARLIE. that's not martin. I understand if you got confused...well maybe not. Charlie is the son. Martin is the dad. Martin was on west wing. Charlie is on 2 and a half men. Martin doesn't hit his wife and has been married for years. There's a difference.

  • I dont like either one of them, both have big political mouth's for being only lying actors.

The woman abuse thing is typically passed from father to son, Charlie did'nt just pick up one day and start hitting women just like my kid grew up largely with my values. Charlie seems to be a little more off his rocker than his daddy even though I've noticed Martin in some of the same nutjob arenas as his wife beating conspiracy fanatic kid. Both are nuts in my book.

  • Are you a doctor? Do you have like a degree that proves anything that you just said about the abuse thing. Cause wildly accusing people of abusing women without real proof is sort of horrible. Even if you don't agree with his politics, you really have no proof or reason to say he beats his wife.

  • No not a doctor. I didnt say that Martin Sheen beats his women, I SAID that its "typically passed from father to son" , I also said that I still dont like either of them regardless of the different reasons.

Nothing I have said is "wild accusation", thats your ridiculous interpretation because you have a low reading comprehension level. Charlie Sheen is a known woman beater, the rest is whats called a reasonable assumption but never did I say it was a fact lol.. Learn to read.

  • I wasn't trying to pick a fight, and I don't want or need to throw insults back and forth. That's not neccisary. And sometimes assumptions aren't reasonable. This is just a discussion. No more throwing insults about intelegence, okay? Because my last comment wasn't trying to insult yours.

  • Fair enough, thanks for being big enough to call it what it is. I'm opinionated about Hollywood in general and even rub my own family the wrong way about it at times:-) I have a special dislike for Charlie but dont have any idea about the rest of his family, just hot air...

    Apologies...

  • No problem. I'm completely aware that some people don't like things I like. that's a good thing, cause we can have discussions. It's interesting. I think you should check out The West Wing, it's a really good show and Martin is really good in it.

And no need to apologize. But thank you :]

  • I hope you play guitar better than you rationalize reality. 911 was a Bush Cheney act of treason... and your an idiot if you can't see the truth in that!

  • Actually, that behavior is learned from either parent. Or in fact anyone who is violent and abusive, be it other children, older siblings, relatives etc. My mother was unusually abusive, and my father is an extremely passive man. My short fuse and violent behavior throughout my life was learned from her. So there goes your theory on that.

  • @inviktus1983 listen, I'm not here to pick a fight. I like Martin Sheen, and you don't. That's fine with me. You don't have to like him and I don't have to dislike him. Problem solved

  • Thats what I said in the first place, my theory stands strong.

  • The Sheens are losers with the Hollywierd soap box and media hinging on every word they say. Charlie in particular is a washed up big screen star. Never did he have a big political pie hole when he was working and making millions.. now he's a pathetic TV personality with a conspiracy theory. Be sure to buy his book, and there will be a book because the Sheens dont know what the word 'work' means:-p

  • @guitarplayer4real what is that supposed to mean? "Washed up" Their statements are NOTHING to do with their acting careers. "A Conspiracy Theory" Please read Charlie Sheens "20 minutes with the President" and call it a conspiracy theory.

  • "read Charlie Sheens "20 minutes with the President" and call it a conspiracy theory"

Considering that all he did was copy the same tired old bullshit talking points from Loose Change and PrisonPlanet, that's EXACTLY what it is.

The drugs & alcohol his drunken father ingested may have damaged some of Charlie's chromosomal connections, but he has only himself to blame for the further damage he did himself.

    It shows.

  • I have a feeling you clicked me by mistake. After reading your posts below we mainly seem to be in agreement.

Anyway, if you disagree with something I said I understand but what you say about abusive behaviour is absolutely the truth. Charlie got his poor ethical behaviour by being a spoiled Hollywierd brat and the way he was raised by his family/ enviroment.

  • Yeah, Charlie hits women in the same way he shot his ex when she was going through his pants that happened to have a gun in them and it went off and winged her while he was not there.

The press love to criticize high profile people, that's why they headlined those ridiculous stories and pictured other alleged "train wreck" celebs like Gary Busey and the Hoff next to that article. It's all to build an image in your impressionable mind, and it's all bullshit.

  • Comment removed

  • Even scarier is seeing that comment of yours get marked down.

I guess the truth of being ignorant and duped into this Hollywierd nonsense is a real bummer.

Dont come around here Sheens.... Bring body guards if you do.

  • Martin Sheen is a stand up guy. He's smart, opinionated, and vocal. And that scares some people. It is his RIGHT as a US citizin to question the government. It is his RIGHT to vocalize his concern.

The deffinition of patriotic is not agreeing and liking the president. His love for this country should never really be in question.

  • @cinematicadventures1 No hes an idiot. If he was smart and a stand up guy he would be protesting Obama right now for continuing wars, torture, and everything else. And I do question his "love for the country" because if it was bad for the country under Bush it should be just as bad now but just because a democrat is president wars and everything else is ok.

  • @SteveCarleze I'm not sure that's the case. Bush was in office for 8 years. Obama is going to have to undo 8 years of his presidency. I think that it's gonna take more time than a year and a half. ALSO he was in more of the spotlight durning Bush's precidency, cause he was playing the President on West Wing. So, I really don't think he's an idiot.

  • @cinematicadventures1 I was under the impression it was the duty of the American citizen to question the government. :P

Same logic, just greater emphasis on our right to question the government :D

  • Martin Sheen is a political activist. He has no actual power, only influence. This is a wonderful display both of him exerting his influence and democracy at work. This is how it works. Like it or go move to somewhere where democracy is taboo. :)

  • You missed a vital part out... three simple, though vitals, words:

    "in my opinion".

Stop spouting opinions as if they were fact, ok pumpkin?

  • NorthBoundTT is an opinion-spouting pumpkin

  • @nakedBison69 you are a jack ass

  • ddavew is a jackass

  • @nakedBison69 I find it weak whenever anyone who criticises america hates america and they're a big old communist. In the UK we can criticise our government openly but still support them and we aren't branded "unpatriotic". Stupid Americans....

  • 99domino99 the big old unpatritioc stupid communist hates America

  • BIGART1950: Are you seriously questioning the right to free speech?

Yes, it's unfortunate that people pay so much attention to them, but you can't question a person's right to voice their opinion.

  • Being an actor doesn't give him the right- being American does. Say something worth listening to and maybe people will listen to you too.

  • but martin sheen has nothing worthwhile to say. he hates america, and loves cuba. what an ungrateful idiot he is

  • Aaaahahah Hello Fox News

  • You CAN voice your opinion. In fact you currently are. He has been put in a place of power, rightly or wrongly, and it would be remiss of him to not try to express his opinion and show support or dissent for ideas. Moreover, he is voicing the opinions of millions. :)

  • Martin Sheen is an actor, not a politician. but if he insists on being a politician, perhaps some politicians should take some of his acting roles in movies

  • I'm sorry and where is the problem in this? Actors work somewhere like 14 hours a day in highly mental and physically demanding tasks, struggling for years, if not forever, to makes ends meat. Whereas Politicians have either never worked a day on the breadline themselves or have worked in business (playing with money) or as lawyers (playing with lives and liberty).

Indeed, actors are closer to the 'average' American then the politicians are, and I doubt politicians could hack life as an actor :)

  • @nakedBison69 he's also an american citizen with rights and he's allowed to have views even if you dont agree with them. He's not exclusively an actor- nobody has one function and they shouldn't

  • 99domino99 thinks conservatives have no right to speak

  • @nakedBison69 no by all means speak....if conservatives didnt speak how could we take the piss outta the dumb things you guys say?

  • conservatives piss all over the dumb things that 99domino99 says

  • are you brain damaged ? IF not ....jeez no wonder the usa is deep in the shit economically and about to go bust if the likes of you are an example of its average mentality,... Wow that country really is DOOMED Gerald Celente is right !

  • ZEITGEISTism is brain damaged. ZEITGEISTism is deep in his own shit with no brains at all. ZEITGEISTism is doomed

  • nakedBison69

Ah resorting to childish name calling how typically immature of your kind Whats the matter can stand THE NAKED TRUTH? hurts doesnt it ?

  • ZEITGEISTism resorts to childish name calling, how typically immature of Zeitgeistism's socialist kind, who cannot stand the hurtful naked truth

  • nakedBison69

ah piss off you waste of space You wouldnt know the TRUTH if it walked up and pissed in your face

    (and I DO )

GROW UP and WAKE UP you bloody zombie

  • ZEITGEISTism is a waste of space. zeitgeitism does not know the truth even when it walks up to him and pisses on his ugly socialist face. zeitgeistism the bloody zombie needs to grow up and wake up

  • Hah... Absolutely right! It must be nice being one of these guys and living in a perpetual haze where real knowledge is not needed.

  • so, like reagan?

  • Oh dear, and so do you believe politicians are no less actors than Martin Sheen? Good lord

  • and how do you feel about Mel Gibson, Chuck Norris, and Jon Voight expressing their opinions?

  • I hardly think you can call something that calmly stated "lashing out," but then again, the media likes words that are exciting (our fault). Very astute observations, though.

  • So, no one can have an opinion ?

  • Comment removed

  • I'm pretty sure Charlie is his son. Sorry.

  • "exafs" thanks u so much for the correction and don't be sorry I'm glad you corrected me thanks again and god bless you!

  • My bet its his son

  • Comment removed

  • Right on abc1000001

  • Bush was a moron, the most un-intellectual president we have ever had.

  • Can you give examples?

  • He was anti-science, he was supporting creationism and intelligient design in schools, thats not science. What about that one speech about docters! " we dont have enough OBGYN's spreading their love on women".

  • If I were you, I would read Ben Stein's commentaries about creationism. I would surmise that you wouldn't think him a moron. I don't know what OBGYN is. Sorry about that.

  • untill the one we have now..dont forget carter and johnson.

  • I'm 27, I was pretty young

  • @pbrskater26 Yeah right, a qualified supersonic jet fighter pilot is a moron. I take it you can fly one?

  • We need more Patriotic people like him to stand up for Americans.

  • Yeah actors aren't people so they shouldn't have an opinion. Only a baffoon neocon would come to that conclusion.

  • Wouldn't that be asked? What is you askes too many questions? That doesn't make any sense if you wanna slam a guy for asking questions you may wanna first ask yourself is my attack on this guy gonna make me look dumber then I make him look. Especially since he knows what he's talking about and I don't. I think Kevin Smith said it best when he ASKED a guy not quite as dumb as you if he had nothing better to do with his time then attack his betters? Think before you speak next time. FUCKKKunit.

  • people that ask questions are stupid.

    That's your point of view.

  • Bush & Chaney - Why are they not behind bars???

  • Acting to Politics...

  • acting IS politics

  • Bartlet for America!

  • Says the Republican who opposes foreign aid and supports wars of aggression

  • Martin Sheen for president ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

  • I think Martin is being kind here to the old US administration. Very "restrained".

He is speaking a lot of common sense.

Who cares whether he is a star or not, he has access to the people, and he is highly respected in his chosen field. He is talking common sense, and for that deserves respect, not heckling from the wings, by rednecks.

    Go get em Martin !

He also starred in the 1980 movie "The Final Countdown" when the carrier Nimitz went back in time.

    .

  • You have to respect it when actors come forward and speak with eloquence and determination. It's easy to rant and rail and curse and throw insults. People accept those because they express a simpler emotion of anger. But when someone chooses to speak with forethought and intelligence, it deserves attention because it represents a more ideal structure.

  • Who the hell doers these Movie stars think they are?

People? Citizens? Voters? Campaigners? Someone expressing their opinion, as the vaunted Bill of Rights ensures?

Plus, after the Bush years, I don't think any anti-liberal should be bringing up things like a lack of character and intelligence. They voted in the poster boy for those characteristics. Twice. What does that say about them?

  • He should only appear in public in character as Jed Bartlet. That would make the world a better place.

  • Thanks for the info on The Incident. I remember seeing that movie a while back but that's not the one I was thinking of. I'm pretty sure the name of the movie I'm thinking of is "The California Kid". Maybe I'm mistaking and it was Martin Sheen. Thanks again for the help. Enjoy your day.

  • Let Bartlet Be Bartlet.

  • Does anyone remember a movie from the 60's or 70's called The California Kid? I think Martin was the star and it may have been his first movie. Netflix doesn't have it.

  • martin sheen was a star in a movie in 1967

  • do you know the name of the 1967 movie?

  • "The Incident"...Tony Mussante and Martin Sheen play parts as hoods

  • Beau Bridges was also in the 1967 movie

  • Well let's just hope he's right about Mr. Obama...

  • *salutes*

  • those who can do, those who can't complain (martin sheen)

  • You realize you are complaining....right?

  • no im not complaining im insulting. Theres a differance.

  • Sounds like complaining to me....

  • Quit your bitchin

  • You first....

  • Jerknny never gave an answer... sounds like failure to me

  • (Acts 2:37 KJV) "Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?"

(Acts 2:38 KJV) "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."

(Acts 2:39 KJV) "For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that

  • wow. You must be one of the last few Bush supporters left on the planet. Wake up dummy. Your Government is supposed to work for your benefit, not for big business. Bush and his administration should be prosecuted for war crimes. Martin has been involved in human rights and politics for along time. He comes from a humble background and appears to be genuine, and if the US spent as much on education as on military, you might be able to understand what I am writing. Read more, watch TV less.

  • He had his faults but he's better than our current dictator.

No on the warcrimes point, no. I read a shit-ton, I'm in college 60 hours a week currently, so I have no time to watch TV, and maybe if you'd stop making assumptions about people you wouldn't look so foolish.

    ::shakes head::

  • Far from looking foolish I peer down on you from a moral, political and educational position. It is commendable that you are in college, but if I were you I wouldn't boast about being in college in the US, unless you are paying a considerable amount in tuition.

It appears to me that you have very little comprehension about the body politic in the US. Your comments are asinine and bordering on illiterate.

  • 'peer down on you...'...Yeah, keep tellin' yourself that. I go to a college in the top 50 in the fuckin' country. What do you have under your belt you condescending bastard? University of Dublin? Too bad the U.S. has some of the best colleges on the planet, Harvard, Yale, ever heard? And yeah, I am paying considerable tuition.

Illiterate?......What!?!?! Dude, to say something like that just shows how far your head is up your ass, you don't even know me and to label me illiterate is a joke.

  • Again more profanity.

  • Never heard a curse word?

  • Republican politics is populist politics. The party tries to appeal to the voters of lower intellect and in fact, through their policies, have made a pretty good job at dumming down the nation to a point where they can do as they please, because no one in the country has a clue what's really going on.

Isn't it about time that people like you realise that the current economic crisis is due to Republican policies. Isn't it about time that we went back to community rather than self?

  • Are you kidding me? The lower intellect part. Have you ever been to San Francisco?

  • Some how while arguing with this guy you manage to make not one point of your own. If you are going to be the voice of Conservativism at least say SOMETHING. I agree this guy is sort of a smug bastard, right or wrong, but you aren't making much of a point. Harvard and Yale, good schools....so is MIT but almost no Americans get to go to schools of that quality.

  • Sorry for responding to his onslaught of criticism. Kind of hard to make points when he's just throwing out irrational insults.

But if you want me to. I challenge him or you to produce the name of a better college in Ireland.

  • Better then what? Harvard? Yale? How about West Valley College? University of Phoenix? ITT Tech? "American" schools are kind of a broad group. U of Dublin has an exceptional MBA program. For that matter P.I.S.A found in 2006 that Irish education ranked in the top 20 of the world for Reading and Science. The US didn't make the top 20 in anything. The US can't be directly credited for much. Even the old stuff...A. Grahm Bell wasn't an American, CERN developed the web....

  • U of Dublin has an exceptional MBA program? That's one school. We have a myriad of schools with an
