Your voice is amazing! Don't worry, you're nothing like Taylor Swift. You're not flat and you can actually carry a note =). But I just wanted to know, how did you record this? Just with a microphone and some program on the computer or was it in a whole fancy (no pun intended) studio? I wanna record some songs of me singing, but the music always sounds horrible because I can't get it to sound like it was recorded in a studio.

Thank you! Haha, Taylor Swift is a beautiful and talented woman, but her songs--to me--are childish with no vocal range. If she tried to come out of her shell, do something that would show her voice, then maybe I would listen to her songs and not cringe when they come on the radio every five seconds.

Actually, I went to a recording studio for all of the ones that have lyrics posted. It's located in Evansville, Indiana, called the Guitar Lab. I'm going to do more soon, next Friday(=

Yeah, her songs get really annoying. She sounded good in Tim McGraw and Teardrops on my Guitar, but as she got more popular, she seemed to lose her voice. If she didn't sound like she had a frog in her throat, maybe I'd enjoy her more. And you're right, they are childish, but none of my friends seem to understand that.

Oh, okay. I don't have the money for a studio, I just have to use a microphone. Which explains why the only video I have up is a capella.

I have to be honest here. I just clicked on the very first "Fancy" video that came up. And...very, very seriously--I thought I was listening to Kelly Clarkson! So when I finally looked at my screen it read: "14 yr. old girl singing "FANCY". Ashlae, that was absolutely the VERY BEST performance of that song I have ever heard in my life! You even put your own personal style in it, making it "Ashlae's song", instead of "Reba's"!! GIRL! KEEP ON KEEPIN' ON!!!
