  • what about bond angles ???

  • anyone from ireland watching this you get no marks inthe exam for bent shape , you have to say v-shaped

  • Is there a video that shows how shape relates to covalent bonds and determining by shape if it is polar/non-polar?

  • YOURR THE MANNNN

  • Yes I do want to get into trigonal bipyramidal

  • @kekothegeko Sulfur hexafluoride.

  • The chemical term for what you said @ 1:17 is actually called The trigonal planar shape.

I'm from the UK, so perhaps it works differently.

  • @TyroneCrawford No. Trigonal planar is just that, a FLAT shape ("planar"), a center atom with three atoms bonded to it on a flat plane. Pyramidal is just that, a center atom representing the apex of the pyramid, bonded to three other atoms that represent the base. Trigonal pyramidal is the full name.

  • Thanks = )

I love youtube. I learn more from Youtube than school @_@

  • thank you! i have my IB chemistry exam in 2 weeks and this is (one of my many) worst topic! :)

  • great video.. look forward to more :)

  • ahh I needed to Trigonal Bi-pyrimdal and the others for my college chem class

    great video though!

  • @Hackiesacker007 haha i was wailing the same thing!

  • I was looking for a video that would show how to determine the bond pairs and angles. My text books and revision guides don't seem to help.

  • good professor. great video.

Now i can pass my chem test!

  • can you do more about shapes of a covalent molecule... gr8 video.

  • Very Good. Upload more of such videoclips.

    Thanks!

  • great video,

    thanks
