I have 27 big cats (Lions, Tigers, and leopards) this animal truely does have a love for this man. alot of my cats do the same when they see me. It is because everyday this man comes to see mike, and pays attention to him, and mike will remember that, and everyday this man comes will only build a stronger bond between them, even though the glass seperates them. LSU should allow this man to help with the care of mike, im sure he would be very happy. You can truely see the love in a tigers eyes.

i used to be that guy... had summer school at lsu and visited the old mike for about half an hour every day for months... i would stalk him and he'd stalk me and chase me when i ran... it was the old cage where mike could run up onto the cliff rocks... i liked the old cage better..

I've always loved big cats, but seldom felt they were cared for properly or had adequate living facilities. LSU is one of those exceptional exceptions - Mike's a gorgeous animal that is obviously happy and healthy.... and therefor - lucky.

Also -

That's such a unique, crazy bond that tiger has formed with that guy!!! Mike obviously looks forward to his visits...

I can't wait to see him fully grown in a year or so.
