JOHN: "Well, we all want our mummies - I don't think there's any of us that don't - and he lost his mother, so did I. That doesn't make womanizers of us, but we all want our mummies because I don't think any of us got enough of them."

She's so right about everything she says. Such a smart woman. Just... something about her that makes me smile. :) The way she talks about Paul and John, not least.
@NotADood Yes, to certain people! There are dialect absorbers and dialect deflectors. I'm an absorber; my hubby's family are from South Carolina, my family's from Brooklyn. Sometimes how I speak depends on who we're with! Also, she had the whole Upstate New York/Rich family from a Jewish background thing going on and they probably worked very hard not to let their children have thick New York accents. According to Danny Fields' bio of Linda she always had a lazy, drawling upstate accent.
thank you for this. I Love LInda, and I love Paul and I love Paul and John and I'm glad I got to here her say how much alike they were and how they loved each other.
I love how Linda caught a little bit of an English accent. So cute.

Wow, Linda's got a bit of an English accent here! I guess if you talk to Paul all day long for years and years it's only natural to pick it up.

I think paul and john having both lost their mothers at an early age made them empathetic to each other : adding to a an already innate kinship

Wow I never realized how much I miss Linda until I happened upon this. She was such a sweetheart and she is truly Paul's soul mate.

It sounds like Linda's catching a bit of an English accent here. Accents can be very contagious.
I always liked Linda. I'm in agreement with her take on the haters.
