Ironicly, some of the smartest ppl I know are a garbage man and a welder.... I acvtualy think this is kinda common for the real smart ppl to get jobs that they can kinda do on auto pilot and really get some thinking done. I did a lot of industereal sandblasting at one time... it's very alone in that helmet and you get to really know who your in there with (yourself)... and you can plot your revenge on the guy who thought it would be funny to turn off your air line as a joke...

Who says that a dream job needs to be one for life? That's waaaaay too restrictive. People change, times change, ambitions change.

I'm currently working at one of my dream jobs now, and yet I have another planned that's totally different which I hope to move into within the next three years.

i don't think ur job's dumb or sad. it makes u happy so whatever. plus the fact that if no one did it then we wouldn't get anything built. ever. we'd be living in self made mud huts or something similar. i admire builders and construction workers. just think, all of us are sitting in one of their creations right now. and doesn't it give u a sense of furfilment and accomplishment to look at a house or building u helped build?

I agree with you, Seth! I don't think anyone has a "dream job" 'cause we're human and like doing different things. We work 'cause we have to pay bills and we need money to live our life. In the end, it's just a matter of enjoying the ride!

But im only 17 years old i still have time to decide.

I think it's hard at any age and time to know what I drema job is. I just know my job fits my current physical limitations, but I'd never call it a "dream job."
