  • "mumber"?

  • what is your cars mumber? im in love with her

  • dave,loving your car so much...tim

  • Love the camera angles and the fact your not scared to stand on it.

  • Dave , mate seriously Awesome

  • Beautiful car....INSANE power... Love it... My dad and I built a car... a 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T with a 526 Hemi that started life out as a 426.. It has been so long ago that I forgot the specs completely but I remember the dyno stats... 1026.5 hp at 5130 RPM and 509.3 foot lbs of torque at 4356 RPM... unfortunately my dad and mom died in a car accident before we finished it...All that was left was the interior. This brings back good memories of the time my dad and I spent building it.

  • A+ build. The 540 seems to make power from idle. U mind me asking what heads/cam and pistons you went with?

  • 1:33 massey tunnel. Man I'd be there everyday in your car.

  • @wheedc I am.

  • @540merlin This is me being jealous! lol Give it an extra rev for me!

  • the Ministry of Natural Resources thought there was a fire...but it was just Dave doing burnouts!!

  • @xcompetitor1 Earthquake...

  • are you in the mainland in bc?

  • @mitteey Yup.

  • @540merlin where abouts im in abbotsford

  • @mitteey Surrey.

  • hows the tko holding up just installed in my 68 chevelle ss

  • @mizix2001 Check out my video: "Tremec TKO 600 - 540Merlin Reviews". Bottom line - fantastic.

  • @540merlin SIr i highly appreciate that video. Im running a 70 402 stock bottom with alum. top end so i think il be just fine with that choice thanks again and great cars sir

  • it's your car,but I call NOS cheater juice,I just don't like it,but other than that,AWESOME CAR!!!!

  • @84Bronco351 Everybody calls nos cheater juice. You can easily hide the entire system and cheat in a drag race. I'm not a huge fan of nos either, bt it has two good qualities for me: it fits under the hood, and it passes aircare.

  • All the older gentleman around my area drive like pansies... Good on ya for letting those ponies run free :)

  • @twztd28 Ouch! Am I an "older gentleman" now?

  • @540merlin Hahaha well older then I am... So technically older.

  • I bet that gets the good fuel mileage lol

  • @HellzNord who cares, its a classic

  • @HellzNord 5mpg.

  • its not a horsepower issue. its lack of traction..

  • @MrTurbovette A little of both.

  • this is youtube porn right here.

  • @bugguy73 Dopn't get me booted off YT!

  • The rubber all over the fender, does it leave blemishes when you clean it off? I have a 2000 v6 camaro right now and next year plan on buying an ss and hopefully keep that for a looong time (17 yrs old right now). I just want to keep the car as clean as possible but then again I want to have some fun with it.

    Very cool videos!

  • @csuzak The rubber just wipes off. No problem. Give it a try.

  • @540merlin Thanks :)

  • powered by merlin

  • @guillo88 Like magic.

  • you left some tire on your rear fender :)

  • @R7300 Oops.

  • looks like a video game at 0:12

  • @SuperCoolDude2014 What video game is that?

  • @540merlin Burnout paradise or Blur

  • Your videos are the reason I love Camaro's :)

  • @firebat42 So before my videos you didn't like Camaros?

  • @540merlin :O ohhhh I see what you did there >:)

Let's just say I thought they were really cool before your video. Now, they the are the icon of life :)

  • Dave You are my Hero! Would you ever consider a 572 crate engine?

  • @TheCopperhead572 Absolutely. Unfortunately the 572 is a tall deck block and will not fit under the stock cowl hood of a 69 Camaro and I want the stock look.

  • Dave you should do a burnout video over the 3D speed bumps in Vancouver.

    /watch?v=8r26AwT7PTM

  • @actionshark I watched the video and see what you mean. That's not too far from where I live. But I'm not sure doing a burn out there and posting it on YT would be the best idea in the world!

  • A+ for tire melt

  • @groutaone Thanks. I could feel the tire damage while driving home. I have new tires (again) now.

  • I just reported you to the rcmp, wasnt hard with your licence plates from BC you ostrich cunt

  • @shitstomp Fill your boots. Do you feel better now?

  • Awesome vid.........had me smiling the entire time. That thing is a monster.

  • @RamblinAround Thanks!

  • Dam dude, sick video as always. Gotta love the muscle. Keep up the good work man!

  • @bucnasty619 I'll do my best.

  • another awesome vid! i wish we were neighbors...haha

  • @sta572 Me too - one of my neighbors sucks! And he has an oversized 4 car garage.

  • hows the pedal effort on the mcleod twin disc? and is it custom made for the car?

  • @Xarmy187 The Mcleod clutch I run is a standard clutch they sell that is rated for 1,200hp. The pedal is amazingly light - similar to a centreforce dual friction, because of the twin disck design. Seems to work well.

  • @540merlin very cool. I ask because I am currently putting a centerforce dual friction into my mustang. But you got me by about 500 horse power, haha

  • @Xarmy187 I run a centreforce dual friction in my Vette with no problems - 700hp, 750ftlbs. It worked in my Camaro too, until I hit the NOS. It's a good clutch.

  • @540merlin surprised its holding up to that much power! Mine is just a stock 302 with heads/cam. made 321hp to the tires on motor, have a 150shot I am putting back on it after im done with the clutch upgrade!

  • when can we see some videos of you doin donuts?

  • @superpie97 Good idea - when I find a safe spot to do some.

  • when i am your age, i will be ballin like that with nice cars

  • @ShikamaruTKD Me too. I guarantee it.

  • damn. what a car.
