This is without a doubt one of, if not THE best and most heartbreakingly beautiful Seishirou & Subaru video out there. The song seems as if it's been written for them, and the way you made the scenes flow was amazing. CLAMP, may you four woman forever be reknown for creating such stunning characters with enormous emotions, and giving them strorylines and plots and betrayals that even years after being released still make us cry. ~ <3

Cos I didn't know much about the manga, I was shocked and actually kinda hurt myself that Seishirou betrayed him. Subaru is such a tragic character, not least of all because even after seeing his sister killed and trying to forget him, he still loves Sei to his death and beyond.

Clamp shows love so well in all forms, even when it doesn't end happily with walking into the sunset and holdign hands. This story will stick with me for ages, I can tell.

ehhh it is? I thought Tokyo Babylon is one of the most famous works by CLAMP? But I totally agree on the saddest betrayal part!! IThe ending was just...I could say heart breaking but it's definitely way more than that.

It WAS one of the most famous ones, but right now most people have never even heard of it, not too mention read it. XXX Holic, Tsubasa Chronicles and X are so much more famous. Most people that watch Tsubasa didn't even know that Subaru and Kamui are crossover characters. =(

Hmmm...well maybe it's because TB is an old manga. A lot of old mangas gets forgotten :(...but hey it's better that not many ppl know TB XD...I swear my friends talk about Syaoran and Sakura too much that I feel like exploding!! This way TB is special to just the few of us :) BTW I really WISH clamp told us Subaru and Kamui's story in TRC. -_-' I was so disappointed when the story ended without us knowing anything about them. *sighs*

Tokyo Babylon is a cult classic. It was never super popular, but is still considered somewhat of a classic in the manga world. And I agree that it's better that not everyone knows. It's like having it like a secret.. ;P

u no i i love tokyo babylon n X/1999 but i dont get it. there is only two ovas in tokyo babylon n i watched it. but whee do u find the episodes or moie or watever it is when sechiro killed hokuto? or when seciro tried to kill subaru? i dont get that. if there is episodes then i cant find it anywhere. n i cant find the manga tooo. the part when seishiro killed hokuto or tried to kill subaru is only in the manga, the ovas don't have since clamp only released two eps and they were just extras of the manga...you can find the manga in book store or online bookstore...

Ive seen this AMV before I knew the story. Now years later, knowing the manga and anime of both tokyo babylon and X/1999, having watched lots of AMVs, this is still the only AMV that lingers and makes me stop thinking about anything else but this story. The song is really really powerful (too bad about the clapping in the end indeed). Really really a great job.

long story short Seishiro (the one in the sunnies) pretends to be a nice guy for a year, Subaru falls in love with him, seishiro reveals the truth of who he realy is, breaks Subaru's heart and kills his twin sister. Things get prety warped from there and I'd recomend either reading x or watching the anime in order to get the whole story!!
