This looks like a reasonable exercise to me. As for getting fatigued and dropping the bar, I think the person dropping would be able to catch it before it hit the floor. But even if it hit the floor no big deal. It's not going to drop on your foot.
My observation. 1) It's great to see the re-emergence of Vince 'The Iron Guru' Gironda & old school bodybuilding. 2) I don't know about the 'Iron Guru' uploader here., as far as I can ascertain from the materials I have, the bar stays close to the body touching at all times from start (resting at arms length across front thighs) to finish (top @neck) and yes with false grip as shown. Guys I see a lot of Vince demos and a lot of them are incorrect, unless someone can enlighten me here otherwise
Well, I appreciate the novelty of the movement, but between the false grip and the odd posture, I doubt you will ever be able to use enough weight to build any appreciative mass anywhere in the arms. Furthermore, the odd grip is going to result in some dropped barbells. Hat's off to the Iron Guru, but this is just a silly exercise that proves that just because an exercise is difficult does not mean it is effective.
@spudnutsncoffee a well thought out and intelligent comment. thank you for getting your point across without ridiculing or bad mouthing the poster of the video, like so many have done.
@spudnutsncoffee Dude this kind of grip,is used to train the small forearm muscle.Because the forearm muscle is small .,thats why its difficult exersice and thats why u put little waights.Seriously, man,u are questioning this?

@spudnutsncoffee This isn't a mass gainer exercise, it helps fortifiying the wrists to get a better performance in many other exercises.
