well ppl who say this sucks seem to not realize how stressful it is for a voice to sing this way live. chino's way to sing/scream is quite unique. The slow parts where he stresses the tones are pretty hard to hit peferctly bc of all those screaming parts, which also are pretty awsome if you compare em to what you hear from other bands.

Apparently Chino has or had a serious amphetamine problem around 06-07 (that he admitted) and White Pony refers to cocaine (I didnt believe this at first just cuz I was pretty sure only Steph did drugs in the deftones). I thought Chino smoking joints on some 420 sites and tripping a bit was all they really did. Didnt know about the stimulants. Its just interesting to me 'cause its my favorite band since around the fur came out (I was 14 then).
