  • Notice the difference in posture between the two.

  • It takes a real man to wear purple in public (-:

  • poum poum poum yès chocolato RE m, félicitations, bravisssimo ole la musica

  • Wonderful!

  • wauuuuu...!!!

  • Julian Bream e John Williams. Due grandi chitarristi! Grazie.

  • Underneath The Palm Tree - Albeniz was some composer, Spain's finest -

  • definitivamente esta pieza no

    es Cuba

  • estos dos son unos genios y representantes ejemplares de la guitarra espectacular

    maestros de maestros

    me gustaris conocerlos algun dia

unfavor pueden meter el tema granada de albeniz donde toca julian bream

  • Bream is always Spruce while Williams is Cedar. What does that say?

  • two of the world's greatest guitatists... bravo!

  • haha.. Williams' glasses are hilarious

  • They serve a purpose though. When you look at the guitar strings in close view, if you're wearing narrow glasses, their skeleton interferes with your view of the strings/fretboard. So he has to wear spacious round glasses to avoid that. Later on he switched to contact lenses anyway.

  • @goyroyni Ahh... BRAVO! LOL

  • Yeah, and Bream's purple shirt is made from a blend of 20% cotton and 80% awesome.

  • Southernmagnus :) lol

  • HAHAHA yes!

  • southernmagnus you made my day LOL

  • esa pieza no se llama así, se llama VIII.Cuba (capricho) de la suite española op. 47

  • Tecnico123: this is definitely Bajo La Palmera. Cuba indeed sounds somewhat similar, especially the first few bars. To compare you might like to listen to David Russell performing Cuba on guitar also on youtube.

  • Esta pieza es Bajo La Palmera... tal vez el comienzo se parece un poco, pero el tempo de Cuba es un poco más rápido y el tema es distinto.

  • i just love julian bream!

  • yeah great, lovely acoustic..just got this rehearsed up and memorised with duo partner then duo folded..any aspiring players out wanna do this wiv me?have got 1st part memorised..llobet edition

  • I cant believe Bream made a mistake!! LOL!

  • WOW! This makes up for their 2 LP live concert not being issued on the same c.d. set.

  • I think it´s a matter of taste. I like it more when they zoom them playing from time to time or some movement. It would be boring to see the same "rigid" angle the whole time.

  • this was one of the rooms in willy wonka's chocolate factory.

  • Why are you bothered about clothing? Go to the fashion section if that's your thing. Please listen to the MUSIC.

  • Rex, it was state of the art TV in 1975.

  • Why are so many of these shot with horrid lighting and dorky clothing? Would be better if cameramen knew itz better NOT to move the camera much...it doesn't need the extra "drama". Oh well, nice playing.

  • I agree about the camera angles. Would you be fine with a straight on shot of them playing for a whole hour video, in other words as if you were sitting in the audience?

I ask because I am producing a classical guitar video in the near future and keep thinking about whether to ahve the zooming and the like. My thought for now is to have one angle for each piece, without much variation.

  • Most cameramen are idiots. I videoed a famous guitarist and kept the camera in tight so both hands could be seen. It came out better than his expensive film crew did with all sorts of crane shots, etc. False drama is stupid. The music, if good enough, is enough to hold interest. Kurasawa and Begman filmed way before 1975, so Polori, don't tell me about stateof the art visuals. Cameras should move when needed. And Pingtism; get bent.

  • That's how they dressed in the sixties.

  • Beautiful piece, I never knew they were filmed by Granada. Thanks for sharing.
