I love Julia but I feel like this is not the show for her, and these songs don't work for the sound of her voice. She was the best Florence that Chess will ever have IMO, and she is awesome at basically everything else.

Really? I think that the rough, unique sound of her voice is perfect for Elphaba.

@AtLastOnTheGround I think her vibrato was too fast and wide for the music. This is completely my opinion, and it has nothing to do with her astronomical levels of ability, but when I hear her singing in Wicked it never sounds like a comfortable fit to me. She played the character really well, but for me the music is my main driver.

Haha. I love how she says the 7 of you who have never seen Wicked. When I was there I was one of the 7 and I told her that when I met her and she went "Oh my gosh are you serious! I have already met 5 of the 7!" But I recently went to NYC and saw Wicked.
