Is there a such thing as meaningless filler in a preschool show? Personally fer me, in this case, yes.
It's come to my attention that I never cared for yuletide like I used ta think. I seem to accept Christmas eps in a show only if I find something I consider TRULY filling, oftentimes when I have no choice. But in this case - surprise of surprises - it's easily skimmed over. This song is the only part of the ep I care for.

It's a inside joke that has to do with me being an adult and still watching kids cartoons. hehehe
The whole story started a while ago when a good friend of mine and his wife had to leave town on business and asked if I watch they're kids for a few days, so I did. The two kids wanted me to watch Strawberry Shortcake one morning and My Little Pony with them and yup! that's when i got hooked on this stuff.
The last time I watched their kids, I got hooked on Sailor moon. (:o) Damn those kids!
Hahaha cool. I have satellite so I'm able to watch Strawberry Shortcake in High Definition. I don't know why, but I like Peppermint Fizz. hehehe I take it then you are a guy too.
I'm also an adult fallen under the strawberry spell. I was even considered "too old" for the '80s specials in their time; I was a teenager with a head start on college. Yes, I was one of those odd supposed smart kids who adored fads they were apparently much too old for.
These days, people have just assumed me to be a mother for years (before I was) whenever I would raid a store to buy girly items, including Strawberry Shortcake DVDs. There is so much more that gender can get away with!
I love the songs they sing towards the end of each Strawberry Shortcake show. Remember the original Strawberry Shortcake cartoon's from the early 80's. They all wore cute dresses, and now today it's pair of Jean pants and a T-shirt.
I do. I adore cute dresses, but to each their own. There should be more of a balance between the outfits, though. Strawberry needs at least one core friend who likes to be frilly. Lemon Meringue comes close. Lime Light, Lime Chiffon's remake, is definitely frilly. Alas, she only appears in one episode.
The only time I seen Strawberry Shortcake wearing a dress was in two episode's. One called, "The Costume Party" where they sing the song, "I can be" -- I can't remember the name of the other episode at the moment, but it was where Strawberry Shortcake and Huckleberry Pie playing their version of "Cinderella" ( ^_^)//

- The Friendship Club (though it was technically a skirt adjacent to a matching top)

- A Princess Named Rap (my personal favorite of all the episodes)
- Hooray For Berrywood (yet to be released in the USA)
- Lights... Camera... (yet to be released in the USA)
