  • I'm pretty sure this is satire and that he isn't serious.

  • @ThatGuyCalledPhillip he is. his name is kent hovind. look up his name on wikipedia, he's a creationist. he's a relatively intelligent person, when compared to people like richard dawkins.

  • wow creationists really are too stupid to understand what evolution means. I really find it funny how you you think you have evidence against it yet time and time again you are too ignorant to understand the word.

  • @williambrazzers It is if you can't pronounce biochemistry... I noticed most of these people think understanding "kinds" is about all you need to debunk zoology and taxonomy. There is no basic understanding of biology, chemistry, biochemistry... hardly anything. They just put on their God-Glasses in the morning and don't have a care in the world for reality.

  • I guess to Christians Evolution is fantasy but then Darwin didnt help his cause by saying Whales evolved from Polar Bears and dumping the phrase Natural selection by vol 4 to the phrase Adaptation and being laughed at by other Biologists for coining the phrase Survival of the Fittest and admitting in print that there is no fact behind any of his ideas and his trying to convince the taxonomists that their body of work was pointless..they,respectfully, laughed at him..& continued their work.

  • @MrPreston49 wtf r u talking about? Charles Darwin NEVER said Whales evolved from polar bears or vice versa! he was comended for his astonishing work that led to countless advancements in scientific study! he had countless facts! he studied unique birds in the Galapagos Islands and was almost put to death because of his jaw-dropping claims that defied the roman catholic church!

  • As a former Christian (specifically Jehovah's Witness) turned atheist I get so infuriated by the diarrhea of the mouth crap science Creationists promulgate. In the name of the almighty buck too.

  • The title is wrong.

It should be, "Kent Hovind Demonstrates His Complete Ignorance in Under 15 Seconds"

  • you hope to win to your way of thinking? And if you are an atheist, how will you enlighten religious people and bring them over to your way of thinking? What is the point of descending from your intellectual high ground to wrestle in the mud? My experience is that people with the weakest arguments and least understanding throw the most mud and sling the most insults. Everyone here needs to read "How To Win Friends and Influence People."

  • The debate about the existence of God has been around for as long as recorded history. It is doubtful that any "Youtube scientist" can measure up to the best and brightest on either side of the debate. The questions are a combination of hard science and philosophy. It boils down to belief. Both sides in the debate should have open minds and be respectful of the other's position. After all, if you are a Christian why would you want to drive a wedge of division between yourself and someone...

  • Science and Christianity are not diametrically opposed. If that were the case, there wouldn't be so many scientists who believe in God. It is unfortunate to see people simply calling each other names and denigrating each other's positions. I was once an atheist who came to believe in God after studying science. I'm not a scientist. However, science does not have all the answers either. One can observe, but that does not identify CAUSES.

  • Quick way to sum up evolution: Frog + Kiss = prince (fairytale) Frog + time = prince (adult fairytale)

  • i am an athiest, and this made me laugh so hard hard i almost peed my pants. before you go around talking about things, get all your facts right first. plus thats easier to beleive that a women who was trick by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree.

  • I can sum up the Bible even faster:

    God is a sadistic murderer!

  • Just a quickie, you guys all know who made up the terms micro and macro evolution right? creationists.

Do those who are truly well read in the subject make this distinction? no they dont.

And even if it where like that, we have observed *macro* evolution happen several times, i can even post a few of em here if needed.

  • >Kent Hovind sums up what evolution means in 15 seconds.

    >Kent Hovind sums up evolution

    >Kent Hovind

Yeah, just for that this video's instantly disproven.

  • "Atheists often say that evolution has nothing to do with the origin of life. But that depends on which "evolution" you mean." You idiot. In science the term 'evolution' is about the biological or organic evolution of species. It has nothing to do with the definitions you made up in the description. Those are completely different fields in science. Also 'kinds' is not a scientific term and just made up by ignorant creationists who don't understand science. You fail, just like assclown Kent.

  • @dutchbb1979 wrong. evolution in science can mean a lot of different things. it can mean "change over time" and cosmic evolution for example. look up cosmic evolution on wikipedia.

microevolution (variation) is the only evolution that is observable and scientific... but by giving the others the same name (evolution) they trick kids and people to swallow all of the evolution theories (evolution of life, evolution of kinds etc).

  • @watergaia The word 'evolution' can be used in any other context to describe a certain process. However this has nothing to do with the discussion at hand. You are polluting the discussion to confuse people. When we talk about evolution in the context of biology, we talk about the evolution of living organisms through natural selection. So it's not about cosmology, or any other scientific field. It's about how life evolved over time. And please look up 'microevolution misuse' before you reply.

  • @watergaia I'm not sure who you are talking about when you say 'evolutionists'. You mean the people that accept real science instead of fairy tales? Where did you get the idea that people who accept evolution try to avoid other scientific fields? Maybe you talked to the wrong people. It's true, scientists don't know exactly how the universe or life started. But they are working on it, and they are finding out more every day. But I know I'm wasting my time with you, you're already too brainwashed

  • @watergaia Actually scientists and 'evolutionists' aren't embarrassed by not knowing how life originated. It is seen as a challenge. If there is something we do not know, we admit we do not know it. We just don't go 'We don't know so god must have done it'. Which does nothing to further the knowledge of mankind. And yeah, evolution is just a made up religion. If only there wasn't 150 years of scientific evidence and proof to back it up. OH WAIT.

  • @biggingeryeti i still think lightning is caused by god, god makes the moon go around the sun, and everything else, even though science has found some explanations for them. science just explains how god does things, it doesn't explain the ultimate cause for things, which is god.

  • @watergaia That's fine, I don't mind you having faith at all, I disagree with you but claiming that evolution didn't happen or is a religion is ludicrous. Many of those who accept evolution are religious, for the same reasons you just mentioned, that evolution is the answer to how as opposed to why.

  • @watergaia You do know that people (scientists.. oh no!) can 'make' lightning happen by shooting a wire straight up, right? And you know that the moon in fact goes around the earth, not the sun. Maybe that was a typo.

And despite what your description says, scientists are actually OBSERVING planets being formed.

  • @watergaia Well no... gravity makes the moon go around the sun... god is not pushing it. And I thought even creationists had abandoned Hovind's mind-numbing arguments... guess there is always someone

  • @danoso0931 gravity pulls things towards the center of gravity. gravity can't cause an object to go around another object, it can only pull that object towards itself. if gravity was the only force at work here, the moon would have fallen to earth a long time ago.

  • @watergaia You know what? you are right. The moon is actually speeding up, and therefore receding from the Earth, because the ocean ties pull it along. This is called Tidal Acceleration. But this acceleration comes at price to the Earth, which is losing rotation speed because of the same reason. This is called Tidal Locking. This changes are all measurable and confirmed. This means that, eventually, after millions of years, the Earth will show the same face to the Moon all the time...

  • @watergaia ... in the same way that the Moon already shows us only one face, and it will also cause the Earth to have only one day per year, since this tidal locking is slowly making the days longer. Again, this is measurable. And, if the Sun weren't to explode in 5 billion years, the acceleration of the Moon would mean that i would eventually tear itself apart from the Earth completely and drift off. Isn't reality far more exciting!!??

  • @watergaia But of course, don't just take my word for it. Do a google search on how we know all this stuff. But if you think we are special because the Moon hasn't left the Earth... well, Jupiter and Saturn have over 60 moons. Even Pluto has 3 moons, one of which is already tidally locked with it, meaning that both planet and moon only show one face to the other all the time. There are moons that re falling to their planets, getting away, and even trailing them

  • @danoso0931 according to the biblical theory of planetary motions, gravity doesn't have a big part of the motions of planets, and there is no such thing as tidal locking, only magnetic locking.

think about it. if gravity ruled the universe, everything would be stuck in one place of infinite gravity, because gravity pulls everything towards its center. gravity does not cause motion, it stops motion.

there are many problems with the theory of gravity, like the galactic motions being too fast

  • @watergaia Are you serious? Is this a joke? It would do you well to read something else other than the bible... Gravity is the thing that does not allow the planets, or the moon, or the stars to escape. It is one a force of nature, meaning that it does cause motion. But is also the weakest of the 4 known forces of nature, however it does have the longest range. That's why, over long distances, gravity is stronger than electromagnetism, but in shorter ones, EM wins.

  • @danoso0931 imagine what happens if there are two objects in space. what will happen is that gravity will draw them together and stop motion. what causes motion is the separation of the two objects, and since gravity is an attractive force, we know it can't separate objects, it can only do the opposite.

there is only one force, the god-force, which is strong at short distances (EM), and decreases as distance increases (the so called "gravity").

  • @watergaia Once again, reality disagrees with you. Gravity can be used to speed things up outwards... heard of a gravitational slingshot? And ALL forces decrease in strength with distance. EM and gravity are 2 very different things. And oh yeah, you also forgot about the Strong Nuclear Force and the Weak Nuclear Force (plus dark energy)... but I guess you already knew about them and lumped them in your god-force...

As I said, don't let facts and reality stand in the way of your beliefs. See ya

  • @danoso0931 if EM and gravity are two very different things, why did Einstein spend his life trying to unite them, as have many others afterwards. it's called the unified field theory (ie. the theory of the biblical god-force).

  • @watergaia I think you should read some basic science before you start posting about it... Your biblical "theory" also states that the Earth is fixed and the planets move about in a "firmament", so unfortunately, reality contradicts it.

PS: I still don't know if you are a Poe or for real... that is how ridiculous your video and your statements are

  • @watergaia

"the biblical theory of planetary motions" THE WHAT???

  • @Wordavee1 lmao!!! I almost died!

  • @watergaia

Cosmic evolution is a term that Kent Hovind made up. He is the reason that word exists.

  • @dutchbb1979 ignorant creationists or ape atheists? do you want me to believe that a single plant turned into million of species. first of all was it intelligent enough at beginning to make copies of it?

  • @flexpape You don't have to believe it... just understand the process. (1st fail) It wasn't a single plant (2nd fail) intelligent enough to make copies? (3rd fail). Well... we could start with some basic education in biology, maybe if you know some elementary school or junior high students, just borrow their biology text books. Once you understand that MAYBE you can search some references at the library or even online and understand what you're reading.

  • @chicarbiomed Lol, are u telling me to believe in pseudo-Science of abiogenesis? So if there was not a single plant then the process is easy but we still are not been able to make in laboratory are we?

  • @dutchbb1979 "You idiot" That's a good way to start out something. (you are the one who believes in this evolution BS) Evolution isn't scientific. It lacks any evidence that confirms evolution happens. A 'kind' is the simplest terms to describe something and it does not allow evolutionists to squeak by and call something an entirely new species. A dog is a kind, while a rat is a different kind. We will never see a dog give birth to something other than a dog. That's why evolution is BS

  • @CiscoWes the reason he started out with "you idiot" is because your lack of understanding left him with no other alternative. You are either mentally incapable or unwilling to see your ignorance. Evolution lacks evidence that it even happens? Wow, it seems so easy to refute, I mean kent hovind and "kind" have given so many examples of its failures. Well let's shut this science conspiracy down once and for all! Ok, bring out the evidence, wait.. no evidence against it? Maybe next time ;-D

  • @chicarbiomed It's amusing that you and others fail to see the irony of calling someone an idiot when it's you guys who thinks a pineapple and a porcupine share a common ancestor. There isn't any evidence for evolution. A "kind" is a concise way to describe living things. It's also honest, whereas evolutionism can say a new "species" is something with a miniscule change, such as a different design on a diatom - when it's still the exact same thing.

  • @CiscoWes What's wrong with a pineapple and a porcupine having a common ancestor? I do realize your joke, in that they are both spiky. There is plenty of evidence...evolutionism doesn't exist... you don't understand what a species is. I am sorry you were not taught critical thinking skills early on enough in life. You most likely have a fear of burning in hell and that's why you ignore evidence contrary to your religion. I'm sorry for your loss. I hope we can prevent kids from growing up like u.

  • @chicarbiomed What's wrong with a pineapple and a porcupine having a common ancestor??? Probably the main concern is that it is idiocy, absurdity, non-science. Critical thinking skills would assist you in thinking outside of the box that the peddlers of evolutionism have given you. Perhaps things have a cause - they don't just poof out of nothingness. The Bible says "FEAR NOT" 365 times. That's a 'fear not' for every day of the year. So much for your fear based nonsense.

  • @CiscoWes ::sigh:: there is no such thing as evolutionism... if we find evidence disproving that evolution happend and the processes behind it also fail then we're not bound to still hold to it in any way shape or form. These peddlers spent their entire professional lives proving their hypothesis and theories with actual empirical, duplicatable evidence... they don't just sell it like faith healing or holy water, balance bands, snake oil, shake weights or whatever.

  • @CiscoWes You're more than welcome to find evidence disproving that evolution happend, and/or disprove all the mechanisms and processes behind it which are currently some of the strongest theories in science. Easier disproving gravitational theory. "Fear Not" Varies greatly depending on the translation you use, and how you loosely translate the "fear not" because it does NOT say "fear not" 365 times without great compensation out of context. Someone lied to you or you don't know how to research.

  • @CiscoWes ::sigh:: I tire of this. The easiest way to answer the pineapple porcupine is with DNA. If you know how DNA works then it is easy to explain and understand. It did not happen in a time frame that you could easily compress and be like "one day pineapple, a few years of breeding and BAM porcupine!" no, it doesn't work that way. Completely different lines of separation. There is a way to research this and learn it but you have to respect what critical research is first.

  • How did he know my great-great-great-great-great-great-great grampa was soup? He was captured by cannibals and cooked in a big pot with potatoes and carrots.

  • Dear Kent

I agree, the theory you just put forward is complete bullshit, there is no chance it happenned. Thing is, no-one thinks it happenned, that's not the theory of evolution.

  • @AntiMatterWave I think some people do believe that, lol...

  • 6. [Micro] Little evolution- Variations within kinds. [new species, same kind]

The sixth one is the only one that has been observed.

CORRECT ! EVOLUTION HAS BEEN OBSERVED.

  • @gregrutz variation has been observed. the fact that we call variation evolution doesn't prove that we are related to bananas, like the general theory of evolution proposes...

  • @watergaia Macro Evolution has been observed. DNA proves we are related to bananas.

Calling Astromony, Physics and Abiogenesis evolution does not make it false.

  • @gregrutz evolutionists might be related to bananas... they might even be bananas. but DNA only proves god, because it's digital information, and information can only be created by intelligence, not evolution and randomness.

  • @watergaia Endogenous Retroviruses (ERVs) are lingering remnants of failed viral infection, which occurred in an ancestor's sex cell and got propagated in its offspring. The viral insertion site is completely random and finding one in the same location in two individuals indicates they each had that same ancestor. Humans and chimps have 98,000 ERV in the exact same location.

    Common ancestor?

  • @watergaia if DNA proves god then how come it shows us to have the genes for making things we don't use but we would havi if evolution is true? It can say that either evolution is true or the intelligent designer is a moron

  • @watergaia What has more information, a big wolf or a little wolf?

  • @gregrutz probably big wolf, what's your point

  • @watergaia You, like Kent, probibly don't know what you are talking about.

The fact that there are big and small wolves is enough variation or 'Infromation' for evolution to work.

  • @watergaia that's your perception. I don't view it as "information", the same way I don't view photons as "information" (if you want to call DNA information you MUST call photons information since that's what the brain uses to create visual images), just chemistry. And no one said evolution was random. Natural selection is deterministic, blind, but deterministic.

What I want to know is, if we were intellegently designed, why are we so poorly designed? Why do males have nipples i.e.?

  • @nejtilsvampe god gave males nipples because they would look weird without them, of course. it's also easier to do it that way, because all babies start of as females in the womb, so it was easier that way, instead of using a special program code in the DNA to remove them for no reason, the nipples also exist for sexual stimulation

  • @watergaia they would only look weird to you because that's what you've been used to. If non of us had nipples you would've thought males having nipples looked weird, and it IS weird.

I wasn't aware of that fact with phoetes being women, do you have a confirming link? But why would god create us as women in the womb? didn't he create the man first? wouldn't it be more like gods nature to make all phoetes males instead?

  • @watergaia just because we see variation does not prove evolution? How short sighted are you? If we can observe simple variations within our lifetime... wtf do you think happened for that last few million years? Oh, don't tell me you think the universe is <10k.. please don't. Don't tell me that Noah saved all the "kinds". All the animals that would NEVER fit on that damn ark. Please don't.

  • Wow, no wonder he does not 'believe' in evolution. He has no idea what it is !

Or The Big Bang theory or Abiogenesis,

And what till you find out how old he thinks the universe is !!! LOL

  • lolllllllllllll

  • Religion is blocking humanity from enlightenment

  • @Gotmea40inch Whilst I acknowledge your point, it's the stupidity and fear of a large chunk of the planets population that is blocking us from, not simple enlightenment as such, but positive progress, in general. Fear is the great oppressor. There are those (e.g. Benny Hinn, Pope Benedict, et al) that exploit the fear of "what comes after this?" Nothing comes after this that makes wasting this wonderful life a good idea.

  • The only wrong thing he said was that great-great-great-great..grandpa was soup instead of *came from* soup... and didn't look human in any way shape or form.

Well, he also didn't put in nearly enough 'greats' and that familial concept really breaks down at the unicellular level, but otherwise correct.

  • That doesn't look like a jail cell...

  • @spiderpig85 Yeppers. So it must have been recorded before Jan. 2007.

  • I love creationists. They have managed to create more atheists than any other group. All you have to do is show a child an actual science book and get them to begin thinking critically about the statements these people make and in next to no time years of christian cult brain washing gets undone. Keep up the good work guys! You do a far better job that I ever could ensuring the total destruction of ignorant bronze age mythology.

  • About the great-great etc grandpa stage, the argument really falls apart. We were talking millions of years, and suddenly, we're talking 6 generations, and people agree with that? The logic got thrown out the window. It's like a well-played con, you tell the victim everything they want to hear (butter them up), then you throw them something that's a little awkward and behold, they swallow it. Does your family live 500,000 years per generation? If so, you're the miracle, not creation.

  • they WONT be bad, he sacrificed his son to make them all feel bad or something. They can all still go to hell though. Knowing who will believe in him and get to go to heaven and who wont and go to hell, this being still creates those destined to go to hell knowing they have no chance to go to heaven, all for because he was bored one day. He tells the people it is a fallen angel that makes them bad, but instead of killing this demon, he lets them fend for themselves.

  • Hey! I can play this game too!

6000 years ago a bored deity that has lived forever made a giant rock. He then , USING HIS INFINITE POWER, spent 6 days decorating the rock and rested on the 7th day (FOR SOME REASON). He then realized he didn't like the rocks design and completely washed it off to redo it, killing almost of its inhabitants and claiming it was because they were bad. The people were getting bad and instead of just, you know, creating them so (CONTINUED)

  • 1. Cosmic evolution- the origin of time, space and matter. Big Bang. 2. Chemical evolution- the origin of higher elements from hydrogen. 3. Stellar and planetary evolution- Origin of stars and planets. 4. Organic evolution- Origin of life from inanimate matter. 5. Macroevolution- Origin of major kinds. 6. Microevolution- Variations within kinds. TRY THIS INSTEAD, a textbook in 1. Astrophysics 2. Chemistry 3. Astrophysics 4. Organic Chem. 5-6. Biology
  • You know, more and more fundamentalism is starting to resemble paranoid schizophrenia. Delusions (some being delusions of grandeur), incoherence (I see this REALLY often in creationist arguments), and the belief that everyone is out to get you. While skepticism of authority can be good thing, thinking that every expert is ALWAYS lying and evil isn't healthy.

  • Have your best fun picking up the soap, piece of hovind crap.

  • at least you don't block people comments, thanks for that, you suck !

  • Thumb me up if you understand that this video should be titled "Gross oversimplification of Big Bang theory and Abiogenesis." No evolution at all in there except for that you had a great great great great etc. grandfather at some point.

  • My favorite is they all laugh. Bah!! Goes The Sheep!

  • lol why are people so mad at kent?? is it because he showed your theory for what it is?

  • Comment removed

  • @pinball281 Made at Kent...because he lies. He won't look at evidence but believes in the Lock Ness Monster and thinks it some how proves evolution wrong but would not anyway.

  • @gregrutz lol look how many shills came on here just to cliock dislike,i laugh at how angry people get at kent, maybe thjere angry that the beliief they hold that there is no creator may actualy be wrong

  • It's because of people like Kent Hovind that the regular joe can laugh and state, and probably correctly so, "I may not be a genius, but at least I know that's wrong!"

  • LOL, they laugh with him. If your educated, you laugh at him.

  • @theodorichen If you're educated you spell 'you're' correctly.

  • @funnygerp03 Thanks for pointing out the typo, Dick.

  • This guy is currently serving a 10-year prison sentence for tax-related crimes. Just another example of how religion helps us all become better people.

  • @watergaia

u don't understand science. u know u don't, and i know u don't. everyone knows u don't. the fact that u follow kent hovind, makes u out to be a clown. the science kent so miserably explains, is very advanced. scientists go thru years and years of schooling. what education does kent have?..he holds 3 degrees from UNACCREDITED CHRISTIAN colleges. kent is a clown. he doesn't understand science. u shouldn't associate yourself with him. it makes u out to be an ever bigger clown.

  • @watergaia ROFL

  • @watergaia yeah... define truth

  • @watergaia I wonder how you're going to fund all those public services without taxes? LOL

Wake up, dumbass, Kent Hovind is in jail for fraud, not for "teaching the truth", the government doesn't give a crap about creationist preachers, most of them are free.

Okay, answer this question: Why isn't Ray Comfort (hardcore creationist preacher) in jail if there's some large conspiracy to put creationists in jail?

  • @watergaia "WE'RE PERSECUTED, SO WHAT WE'RE SAYING IS RIGHT!!!"

  • @watergaia ...except it is demonstrable that Mr. Hovind lied. Big difference between him and the Apostles. The Apostles were a perfect example of persecution, Hovind lied on his tax return (among other things)

  • @watergaia Also, the tax system has been upheld by the courts multiple times, so you really have no real basis for calling it a "crime"

  • @watergaia ...

you either have a very "unique" definition for "crime" and "criminal", or are just insane....and honestly I'm not so sure that the two are mutually exclusive here.

  • @watergaia- Right. And I suppose we shouldn't trust doctors with medicine and shouldn't take firefighters seriously during a conflagration. You know, more and more fundamentalism is starting to resemble paranoid schizophrenia. Delusions (some being delusions of grandeur), incoherence (I see this REALLY often in creationist arguments), and the belief that everyone is out to get you. While skepticism of authority can be good thing, thinking that every expert is ALWAYS lying and evil isn't healthy.

  • @watergaia- Right. And I suppose we shouldn't trust doctors with medicine and shouldn't take firefighters seriously during a conflagration. • @watergaia Do you know what would happen with out taxes? No education, no military defense, no space program, public parks, no public roads, no housing projects....None of that.

Do you think the government gets its money from a giant money tree?

And the difference between apostles preaching truth and tax crimes is that one is a crime , the other is just stating your beliefs.

Please reply so I can wipe the floor with you again.

  • @User2308117 money is essentially pieces of trash, that would be better used as toilet paper, instead of being the mark of the beast that everyone worships. money corrupts people, politicians, education, science, war and so on... the military defense think they are doing good while they are murdering millions of people.

and yes, money does come from trees; from millions of trees that are needlessly cut for making garbage.

  • @watergaia And yet you pay for everything with money don't you? Please explain to me how anybody would get anything done without getting paid? I know I am not about to work my ass off everyday at my job if I am not getting paid.

If money is as bad as you say, why does your god not get rid of it? Is he not able? Or is it that he is just so cruel that he can, but will instead let us poor humans kill "millions" (LOL @ that, btw) of eachother because of money?

  • @User2308117 Yes, even I have to submit to the satanic system and use money in order to live. It says in the Bible that no one can buy or sell without having the mark or the number of the beast (the number on the federal reserve notes).

You ask God to get rid of money, but it was humans who created money, not God, so it's our responsibility. God gave us free will to choose evil or good. And what's so LOL about Millions of people killed by military?

  • @watergaia so everyone and everything that does not support your religious claims is evil and crime related? Great logic!

  • @cufflink44 That is not fair. You are attacking the man not what he says. Better yet is to show he is not a Dr., not a scientist, doesn't understand Evolution, does not understand Geology, Astronomy or Chemistry. He has never looked at the evidence even when people show it to him. And he thinks he can prove every scientists in the world wrong. Worst of all he thinks he is funny. OK.

  • @gregrutz You're right. My comment was definitely ad hominem. I don't think it was entirely irrelevant, however. My underlying point was that if he lied about one thing (his taxes), it's not surprising he can lie about other things (e.g. evolution). But yes, it would have been more convincing to illustrate how he doesn't understand science. Thanks for pointing that out.

  • @cufflink44 I'm going to reply to this so everyone can see it. He didn't file federal income tax returns, which there is no law stating you have to do. If you don't, though, the gestapo will come take you away. See Aaron Russo's interview with the IRS commissioner here on youtube.

  • @Lisztman88 it's true there may not be a law stating that, but we shouldn't obey laws... we should obey that which is right... and paying taxes is mostly a good idea. a better idea would of course be to give all money back to the kings where they belong, so that the money becomes worthless, because as jesus said... money is the root of so much evil.

  • ignorance of epic proportion

  • 63% of Americans don't accept evolution. *cue laugh track*

  • I almost want to strangle him... but if i did i would be just the same as a Christian.

    It was kinda funny anyways

  • People who actually see Kent Hovind as a reputable source are funny.

  • sigh

  • And they laugh. Except that what Kent Hovind actually believes is that their great-great-great-great-great grandpa was dust.

Oh, and also that he doesn't have to pay taxes...

  • the people lauging in the video are fucking retards.

  • religion explained in 5 seconds:

we dont know shit, therefore god did it.

  • @czarelius 5seconds?

  • @DamesPoker Shut up.

  • @czarelius really only need < 2 seconds. This moron though would require at least 10 years to explain to himself why he ripped the American tax-payers, many of whom I'm sure are the very same idiots laughing at his attempt for a joke

  • I think Chuck Norris ate a bean burrito and produced the biggest fart in all of existence, this is the original Big Bang Theory.

  • @SeekingTruth1234 im not gonna debate you, i know you are set in your ways. but you do realize that all trees of life line up IDENTICALLY. To not believe in evolution is to not believe in gravity. they are just as viable. in fact we have more proof of evolution than gravity. Scientists TRY to disprove evolution but all the new facts only strengthen the old ones.

  • This is a classic example of a straw man argument coupled with a reductio ad absurdum. If only we could send Kent Hovind to his room for a decade or so to think about what he's done.

    Oh, wait, we did that.

  • @matt3483

Unfortunately that assumes that Kent is capable of thought and as can be seen by watching this video or reading his "doctoral" dissertation, I am not sure that is in any way possible...

  • Comment removed

  • lol i just love how every comment is an argument to another comment from another one which was 1 comment about a nother which could have been a reply from a starting comment hahahaha

  • @TheMiracleGriffin you have no idea what you are talking about :P

  • @SeekingTruth1234 when i re-quoted you, it was supposed to have a humorous undertone, but i guess its hard to convey that with text. which quote did religious people use before Nietzsche? i suppose theres not much point in arguing any further with you because, as senselocke said, if you dont believe now you never will, regardless of evidence (I'm sure you're thinking the same as me). I am also skeptical regarding your superior knowledge of evolution. I did enjoy arguing with you, though.

  • God, i'm so glad he's in jail for tax fraud...

  • Okay, here's how science works: We come up with a theory, and we test it until we break it. Then we change the theory.

Cosmic: Universe expanding, basic physics at work.

Chemical: Observable in star and galactic formation.

    Stellar/Planetary: See above.

Organic: There are organic compounds in meteorites and other planets.

Macroevolution: Extrapolated from above and below

    Microevolution: Proven.

If you don't believe in 1-5, you never will, regardless of proof--but you can't disprove them either.

  • @watergaia "Organic Compound: any chemical compound whose molecules contain carbon". Yes, yes we have.

We see nebulae, and supernovae, but they takes BILLIONS of years to form, and we've been looking for a fart of a fraction of that time.

Universe expanding: Redshift of visible light from galaxies as distance increases. That's evidence.

Frogs becoming flying pigs would be "intelligent" (intentional) "design", which we also haven't seen. We do see small change that, over time, adds up.

  • @watergaia Woah your clearly dumb, I recommend going to a non religious school.

  • @watergaia I'm sorry? Have you ever heard of the Doppler effect? Light red/blue shifting? Learn a bit before you make a baboon out of yourself. And for the sake of argument lets assume astrologists have not seen a star form. That proves...what? We know that the denser matter becomes the hotter it gets due to friction. Study the chromosome 2 of the other three great apes (orangoutangs, chimps and gorillas) and compare that the the chromosome 2 of the fourth race of great apes...humans.

  • @juuonse Haha. "Astrologists" deal in horoscopes. That might be your problem.Astronomers/Cosmologists are what you should read about. They'll have the facts you need.

  • @johnnywalker1974 excuse me for not being a native english speaker and mumbling out the wrong word for the occasion...

  • @juuonse Peace to you too,Brother. enjoy labour day.Youtube needs to make re-replying a little easier. All my best.

  • @watergaia we've also never seen a god dish in some salt and pepper, a little elements, some dark matter and spit in order to create a universe. Your understanding of evolutionary theory is so lacking that you trying to argue against it with "flying pigs" makes just awesome stand up comedy.

  • @juuonse Didnt mean to insult the fact that you arent a native speaker.Sorry for that. But my opinion has NOTHING to do with universal expansion. This has been PROVEN. Peace to you.

  • @Bebellanti at what point did I argue against that? I'm well of aware of the expanding universe and physics behind it O_o. You must've misunderstood my comments or something

  • @watergaia 1) actually the galaxies are moving quite fast. The Red shift of the galaxies shows they are moving apart. 2) The fusion of hydrogen that occurs in the stars is observed and even recreated. 3) Clouds of hydrogen condense into stars; it isn't something getting brighter. 4) Amino acids ARE found on extra terrestrial bodies. Denying observable facts typical of a Hovindite. If Hovind is your source then his middle school science education will not help you much.

  • @snakeguy76 the red shift could be caused by other things than motion, like age for example.

  • @watergaia So billions of years?

  • @watergaia

I think fairies made red shift for the lulz

  • @watergaia do you actually think before you type something? pick up an astronomy book, or just read Stephen Hawkins' The Universe in a Nutshell. arguing against something you clearly know nothing about will only make you look stupid.

  • @SuperboyConnerKent just because you read something in an astronomy book doesn't mean it's true. don't believe everything you read and try to learn to think critically.

  • @watergaia actually everything you read in a science book or encyclopedia is true, the only reason something might be off is an incorrect source, but usually those things are like, mount everest is 8.832 meters high instead of 8,848

  • @SuperboyConnerKent some things in science books are scientific, other things, like the big bang theory, are highly speculative, and don't really qualify as science because such things as the creation of the universe can't be studied the same way as things on earth, like mount everest. the further something is in space, the harder it is to study, and the further something is in time, the harder it is to study.

  • @watergaia

There's credibility on the line here, idiot.

  • @watergaia Do you re-perform every experiment ever done? You do realise that the reason science advances so fast is because what the previous generation found does not have to be continually re-proven? Do you deduct formulas for wave mechanics before you press start on your microwave?

  • @watergaia Take your own advice and substitute 'astronomy book' for 'bible'

  • @watergaia Respectfully,You are wrong about the Universe expanding. Please about "Red shift." Thank you.

  • @johnnywalker1974 wrong about the universe expanding? ok...I suppose your opinion makes it right then =)

  • @johnnywalker1974 nevermind...I'm too tired of going back to read through the comments. Bloody labour day holiday... anyway, universe is expanding, end of story. peace

  • @senselocke

Here is how religion works: Get an idea.

    Ignore all contradicting evidence.

    Keep idea forever.

    End.

  • @xHardcawx lol, cannot tell if trolling or just very stupid.

  • @TheDcac

How does this make one very stupid?

Maybe, you sir, are the stupid one?
