exactly aeropostal, is trying hard to come up again, but its difficult, recently they lost a dc9 in a hard landing the turbines went off, but no fatalitys, what date is this video?
@JABV12 Probably early 2000's. Aeropostal retired the 727's and the DC9-20's in 2005. The DC9 YV136T that had the hard landing is stored in Puerto Ordaz and it will not fly again for now. BUT, that DC9 got replaced with a new MD82 YV505T which is entering service in the next few days.
Now Aeropostal has 3 DC9's and 2 MD-82's. It had 22 planes until 2008 when the president sold them and Aeropostal remained with 3 DC9-50's. In 2010 they introduced two MD-82's from Alitalia and they are currently working them hard on all their national routes! Aeropostal is no longer an International Airline. They currently have orders for two more MD-82's.
The B727 time has ended in Venezuela since 2006 when Santa Barbara Airlines retired it's last 727 (Ex Avensa). Also DC10's were retired in the 2005-2006 period. YV18C was retired in 2005 as well with other 727's. Avensa and Servivensa still have some 727 Stored in Maiquetia (Since both airlines closed in 2004) but they are all in one piece.
