Four years ago, as a fan of hip hop, this song was cool for telling me a story that creeped me out... Now, as a father w/ two baby boys that is still a fan, this song is no longer cool, plus it scares the hell out of me
well on the brighter side, 2 of the guys-- Ivor Myers and sean Myers, bacame Pastors. So they left the game. Now they can give u hope with their encouraging messages... Thank GOD!
@onn1320 Not that you came back with the Gravdiggaz and Flatlinaz! I still bump the hell out of Live Evil, Satanic Verses, and Rivaz of Red! And 6 Feet Deep is a classic! (SIGH) To have 90's hip-hop back...
They'll never kno cuz im good old man jacob and i never had a foe or a friend in this world i hope i burn in hell i wipe the blood off the knife and dump the 15th body down da well.... creepy
Boogiemonsters were so overlooked that it`s a shame. They never used profanity and I always liked how most of the basslines in their songs sounded muffled or distorted. They were about being unique.
fine rap music from a finer time in life...the days before computers and cell phones, shit was different....original thoughts flowed with no interuptions....cant say the same for today......
If any good rappers want some promotion send a track to jessebonds@hotmail.com. You'll get a chance to be featured on 'Wikkid Shit Vol. 3: Halloween Edition' or Wikkid Shit Vol. 4. The CDs will be given out for free and you will get recognition for the track. Pleez don't spam my shit.. I'm just gettin trax.
This as a classic album in my house and this was probably my favorite joint! Who knew a song could scare people like a horror movie? If this song had a video like Thriller or something to that effect...who knows? The vibe is worthy of being explored. It could even become another genre of Hip Hop or music in general.
dag I came here just to hear the guitar solo at the end! oh well it don't matter this song is still dope, as is the group. i wish Vex, Mondo, Mintryc, and Yodared were still makin hits but I can't blame them for not wantin to be a part of this bullshit called rap nowadays.
Yeah the guitar solo outro is the best part, too bad this video cuts the song short by about 30 seconds or so.
When I was younger I also didn't pay attention to the lyrics, just the beat and the guitar solo. Then I payed attention to the lyrics and realized it was one of the creepiest songs ever! But it's definitely creative and tells a story that puts you right there... today's hiphop doesn't do that anymore.
...Old Man"s Jacob Well..14 souls dwell in Old Man's Jacob well... Creepy,,but this song is the shinitz!! I love the guitar's and rap!!! Rare and Gifted rhyme!! I love you guys.. Boogiemonster's! God Bless you.....
I love 90's rap. It's hip hop but it doesn't even sound like hip hop. At least not in today's sense. This is kinda like some Jimi Hendrix psychedelic shit! I love it. I wish there was more diversity on the radio. But that's a gone era I guess. RIP 90's rap!
I love this track and the story is deep. Classic serial killer story. They should make a movie out of is. You can just picture is all happening. It used to freak me out too, especially when I finally listened to the lyrics and not just the beat. I just found this album digging through my crates. Wow!
when i was younger i use to hate this song because of the weird sounds and the part about the kid getting raped. i was so scared to the point that i didnt even go out side much. today is the first time i heard this scary song that stayed in my head since the first time i heard it in 8yrs. im so fuckin nervous right now.
when i was younger i was never scared and in matter of fact i rap along with it all the time....and i still do it until this day..

Well that sux that the last minute of the track is cut off, the guitar solo at the end only adds to the creep factor.
