  • Omg :o

  • ohh my friend, i would like make a robot like that!!

  • You could always make your program remember all the steps it did to scramble the cube and then undo them.. :)

Would have been much easier to program! No Artificial Intelligence whatsoever! :p

  • What grade did you get? *snicker*

  • Is it a specially modified cube which accepts the shafts or can any cube be placed in there?

  • is that the MATLAB icon i saw there?

  • I wish my projects were as fun, they have me solving such trivial programs.

  • It's just kind of a "display", you can't get your own cube solved or move the cube yourself...

  • Holy Fuck ???!!!

  • I make these all the time. Nuthin special ;D

  • @LimitedWard then why don't u have a vid of it?

  • @ipodtouchacker You do realize that it was a joke, right?

  • @LimitedWard ya i know. and btw ur vids are cool. i checked ur B.OPS one's out. ur a good commentator too much better than ur first try commentating. i subbed

  • @ipodtouchacker Hey thanks! Always nice to see people appreciate my work ^.^

  • sweet

  • could it solve... my dick?

  • jesus christ how many things to dow ith rubix cubes are they gunna make

  • sweet

  • you deserve a medal

  • Did... you build the robot RIGHT INTO THE CUBE?!

  • how long did it take u to build it

  • wow... thats pretty cool...

  • Which was the type of the motor of used step? mark? model? voltage of that motor?

  • lol, begginers method robot.

  • mate.... that is absolutely amazing

what was the program you build based on? ( the step-by-step human way to do it or some other way) im trying to build a program that does this - its quite hard - im 13yrs old lol. but i think itl be ok.

    great work mate really good.

  • That's amazing, man. Great job :D

  • Did you hit reverse?

  • yea thats why it took 4 times the moves to finish it...

  • lol good call maybe you should think before you say stuff saizni

  • ownd.

  • Comment removed

  • look at the blue face lol. it's all....broken...(the blue face is the blue center piece.)

  • I see your trying to harness the power of the Rubik's cube lol.

  • Rofl it was using keyhole.

    I totally saw that.

  • awesome!

  • thi is so cool

  • That was awesome! I wish my team had thought of something like that for our senior project!

  • OMFG wow dude tell me how to do that damn i like shit i was like wow dam thats relly nice

  • Way cool. I like how the cube sounds in this video.

Check out my MFRT videos. That's "My First Rubik's Teacher" - a tutorial (Work in Progress) for the 3x3x3 Rubik's Cube, made in Game Maker.

  • i noticed the logo on the notification window, the program was written in matlab wasn't it? and you used stepper motors?

  • This is brilliant work congratulations on an excellent project.............

  • good engineer!!

  • lol thats easy all you gotta do when it scrambles it just click edit then undo!

  • That was great

  • 0_o

  • You Get A Life, Try Building your robot. then talk.

  • Well , Then Try Buildin' Your Own Robot. :)

  • you erragant little noob,

    i wasn't talking to you.

i was talking to pablito so

next time you want to say

i get a life dont talk.

  • why did you use only those algorithms to solve it? sure they're reliable, but there are better algorithms that will take only 20 moves to solve it

  • that was awesome

  • that was cool

  • wow nice i can solve faster but that is and impressive robot!!! great job!

  • LOL. I can solve it faster then a robot. Twice as fast.

Thats an insanely nice design though.

  • nice using an actual cube machine, but why not a 3d model

  • very impressive

  • Someone has WAY 2 MUCH TIME on their handz

  • It was a project, you have to spend time on a project

  • LOL. Says the douche who has nothing better to do than to sit around criticize somebody's youtube video...

  • That was the keyhole method wow. That must of been hard to program! Maybe you should teach to robot fridrich, roux, or petrus.

  • its cool to see that you programed beginner fridrich, and not just the usual 18 move solve, very nice:)

  • this bot is way etter than the rubot

  • i bet i can build that robot faster than solving that cube .. :D

  • lol...

  • You should teach it a proper speedcubing method, it'd be way faster with full Fridrich, get the movecount down to 60.

  • ooooooo. its shiney. i like it.

  • why is it that it only takes a few seconds to mess it up but 40 seconds to solve? Couldn't it just unmess it up in the reverse order in the same amount of time?

  • because that's cheating. simple as.

  • this is going to take over the world someday...

  • its probably easier, seeing how you dont have to get the middle boxes...they were stationary the whole time

  • the center squares of a rubik's cube dont move anyway. they are always in the solved position. this mock up could take on any position that an unbounded cube could. it just doesnt move around

  • the robot outsmarted me! haha XD

  • wow thats brilliant haha

  • well thats something... next thing u can do to ur robot is to get those middle parts of the cube wich r linked to spin too... :D

  • that was amazing your really talented

  • amazing....

  • C00L

  • wow amazing! my favorite part was the noice =)

  • how much did that cost u all the stuff to make that?

  • can u make it faster?

  • thats what I want too.

  • that would be exceedingly difficult :P

  • nifty... now mix with 25 turns like you are supposed to instead of 15 to follow standard rules.

It looks expensive. How much did it cost to build, and how long did it take?

Did you know about mine before you did that? Cuz if so then it's a bit of a rip.

97 turns is a lot, most human solvers use about 45-53 nowadays. A machine can be programmed to go much lower.

    What kind of proessing power?

  • wow LBL method T_T

  • Very good job!

  • That's pretty awesome.

  • Hi, do you have a picture or projecto of interface device?

  • were do people get these

  • walmart

  • i kinda dont think you can lol... im prety sure he or she made it

  • It takes 15 moves to scramble and 97 to solve. You can see it solve the cube layer by layer.

  • hmm. True. But does it store how it does it in the computers memory how to solve it? :)

  • it scrambles it randomly, but sovles it algorithmicaly.

its not that it stores how to solve it, it just uses a set of algorithms to solve. it could do it a cheap way and computer calculate the best way to do it but that would be stupid lol

  • Hmm

  • The optimal solution would require brute force, (I think, I dunno if there's a faster method) which takes a while.

  • it slightly takes the fun out if a person didnt scramble it. but still, pretty awesome design.

  • hi, ur project is really great.. we were thinking to make same project and we found u here :D we wonder how long did this project last and how much did it cost?

  • lol nice i love the "hi"
