Indeed it is. There are many tricky puzzles and difficult jumps throughout in this dungeon / ship.

It's IMPOSSIBLE to get stuck in Afralona. There are hidden areas made exactly for this purpose.

Actually, it is possible to get stuck I’m afraid. If you collect the keys in the wrong order, and then open the wrong colored doors, you can in fact be stuck.

I’m not trying to argue here, but I know the game quite well and have been stuck twice.

i used to play this game once with my friend equinoxmies(his name on youtube). but i have nowdays played this alot. just for the nostalgia and AWSOME gameplay. it is a great shame that solstice 3 didn't come out, and that many people have missed such a masterpiece like this. Great videos, and thanks for them! (sorry my bad english)...

Oh, no need to apologize for your lack of English skills my friend.

I dont know, I would be somewhat hesitant to play a Solstice 3, considering how good the first two games are, I would hate for there to be a third one and it not be up to par with its prequels.

Im glad that you enjoy the videos! And that story of yours with your friend was a fun little read. I too used to play this game with a friend, which is where I know of it to begin with.

nope haven't yet, im at the sixth level (have had some minor problems with the keys, and also the levels are kinda complex. but i guess its nothing compared to ice palace). You made a good point there about solstice 3 by the way.

Oh okay, you are in Afralona, I love that dungeon! Be careful where you use your keys though, you can get stuck if you use them on the wrong doors. This happened to me once and I walked around for hours.

Its a good idea to create another save slot on the cartridge just as you begin Afralona.

Yes, the Ice Palace will either make you or break you :)

yeah i do the double save, and before i open any colored doors i usually get all the keys i can, and make a map where i can see all the entrances, and what kinda doors(colors) they have. I know the map thing is kinda random to do, but it helps me.

Very smart move on your part to backup your saves. That may very well save you from restarting the game over, should you get stuck in Afralona.

As for the maps, that is also a good move! It may save you a bit of trouble by heading over to Gamefaqs(.com) and checking out the maps that someone posted there.

There is also a pretty good FAQ written for the game as well, so be sure to refer to it if you cannot figure out where to go next. If all else fails though, just PM me :)

I like this game very much. I've thinking about buying wii so sad it is a shame that it may not.

Well, I know that the company that owns this game has long since been out of business, so, Im sure that the licensing would be very difficult to get a hold of.

Besides, the games publisher is Sony Imagesoft, I dont think that a SONY game on a NINTENDO console would be very marketable. Back in the early 90s, yes. Today, no.

Its too bad as many people will miss out on some of these great titles of old.

Are you asking if there it is available for the Wii Virtual Console?

If so, then, no, it is not on the VC and sadly probably won't ever be.

So, it will have to live on through our old cartridges and emulation.
