The truth is, most Yanks dont get British humour because, on an evolutionary scale they are somewhat below us, anyway, Jonathan Ross is funny because he pokes fun at celebrities and is a lot more offbeat. The celebs probably prefer that its not the usual run of the mill, generic Letterman-type scripted crap.

I like Conan, but as far as interviews go, he's always more concerned with finding the next laugh than with conducting a decent interview (I still think he's hilarious, just not a great interviewer). I don't really watch Ferguson, but I've never laughed at the stuff I've seen. Stewart is also a great interviewer, but he doesn't routinely interview people for 15-20 minutes like the guy from this clip or the others mentioned. I'll agree with you on Kimmel, my apologies. Yep. Funny thing: In the comics, Peter and Mary Jane get married, they have a daughter (May "Mayday" Parker.) Who is proudly, taken after her father, as Spider-Girl.
