  • THAAAAAANKS - ABDULLAH FROM SAUDI ARABIA

  • What a tactic

  • nice board

  • Very interesting, I enjoyed this. I'm still a bit of a novice, but looking to improve.

  • @bacharles1 If you wanna improve... just keep practicing with a checkers program (ex: Nemesis or Cakes) and play the same game over and over again until you know it. Then start playing 1 min games.. if you want it longer make it 3 mins but no more.

And secondly, never think anyone is better than you nor say things like ''I suck at this, I wish I were as good as you''... no. Think of yourself as one of the best even if you're not.

  • Lol what an idiot

  • at 1:50 move 8 to 10 then 16 would be forced to move to 9 then 10 moves to 16 then 18 would be forced to move to 15 thus using 11 to take out 15.then no matter what move red made, white would get a free red.

  • @OutsideTheLines101 At 1:50 these is no such move at 8-10? I explain the continuation from 8-11. Check again your variation. Have a Happy New Year!!!

  • i think he's a little gay for sherlock holmes

  • @checkercycle sorry, I meant from 4 to 29, the biggest diagonal

  • I want to challenge you with windows 7 or yahoo game. Just give me a time of match.

  • hey should'nt u jump at 5:30 from 19 to 28?

  • @coolintrini34 We are playing the American, English style. The single checker cannot jump backwards. Thank you for your question.

  • I wouldn't have played it quite like that

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOW

  • ILL TRASH ANY1 300 WINS ONLY 3 LOSTS

  • there was a double jump set up in the beggening

  • Maybe I'm crazy, but isn't 16-11 on the first move a much easier draw than 24-19? Then 7-16, 24-19, 16-23 (1), 22-18, 15-22, 25-2, draw

    15-24, 28-12, draw

  • at 3:23 why would red not from 22 to 18 in order to secure the rear white piece at 14? this adds another move to the table setup possibly forcing white to make a mistake. does anyone see an error to this move? checkercycle?

  • @drummingdude2007 ohhh nevermind. forgot about playing force jumps

  • this guy is an idot i would kill him in checkers

  • @frank81275 I know right. It's like the players are going to make those exact moves.

  • nice

  • This shit is so weak.

  • beautiful ! beautiful !

You must have a "think ahead" brain to apply the Self Distract strategy... Nice one! I like it ..

  • @thesofinho Thank you!

  • i gota say checker is a bit confusing but it is nothing compared to go. :D

  • @lance1236451 Checkers isnt confusing its shit.

  • @Pezreh haha agreed. yo play me in go ?

  • @lance1236451 Sure, i'll play with you.

  • @Pezreh haha do you know how to play? and even if u know how to play its gona be difficult to beat me :D you might want max handicap agasint me

  • @lance1236451 I think you're the one that needs the handicap. Lol.

Messege me so we can set up a time.

  • @Pezreh haha k what is ur kgs username?

  • @Pezreh It is... That's not something you can use in life. Unless someone is Marrion Tinsley or Don Lafferty (the only ones that deserve the recognition) then I would tell them to get a life and do something productive.

  • very nice video checkercycle ive learned alot from u profoundmoves and sweetgeorgiaboy yall r all very good!! and i hope yall can upload more checkergames on youtube:)

  • @sparco006 Thank you very much!

  • Thank you one thing I don't understand is how how come online they don't let you do a flying king moved? Yeah i play checker alot but I be losing alot so is there any Strategy where I can get alot better at it?

  • @163mike Mike if you go on Playok.com (kurnik) and look for Draughts, they have the flying kings there. About your question on Strategy and getting better check out the video of Alex Moisevey 3 Move World Champion. He explains the way to get better. Thank you!

  • @checkercycle Excuse me, wich Alex Moisevey video are you referring to? (In your reply to @163mike comment) - Thank you

  • @FragBenitez Hi, The video World Champion 3 Moves, August 7, 2010. Alex Moisevey explains his love for the game and how the love of the game and not giving up is important. I thank you for your question. If there is anything else you like to know please feel free to ask me. Alex recently won his 3 move champion match with Borgettti. If was a great match and you can get information from the American Checker Federation website.

  • @checkercycle thank you, actually I found the video after I sent you the question. I have another question that involves the game. I're read before about the importance of the "big diagonal" from 4 to 21 but I dont think to understand it - maybe you can elabore a little about this topic with examples in one of your videos? thanks in advance (excuse me for my bad english)

  • Is there such thing as flying king say when you get a king instead of moving one box to another can you move multiple box?

  • @163mike Yes, flying kings is a very popular style of playing and some styles allow your single checker to jump backwards. Thank you for your question.

  • u knw in the computer internate checkerd can u tell me how to do a double jump if u knw

btw nice video now i am gonna get the board game as well

  • I've watched a couple of your videos. Thanx for putting yourself "out there". I have had a love for checkers since I was 11 Y/O and at about 12 started to regularly beat my Father who was pretty good himself. Later playing a, master player, Uncle. Who I started to dominate in the game regularly at 13. He stopped playing me. I think you have a passion and love for the game and I think your great. You ROCK Jared! Thanx.

PS for the nay-sayers,; They don't get people like us. Most people wont.

  • @coyote907 Thank you Jared! I appreciate everything you said. I like your story and it very nice to meet you. Your friend in checkers, George

  • @checkercycle how long are champion games?

  • @5tonyvvvv Championship games can last about 1/2 hour to 3 hours. They used a clock and have a time limit.

  • checkers is too easy

  • @C43Z beat him in checkers if it's too easy moron

  • hey, nice draw! I myself is at rank master level at flyordie. com, still amazed how white could make a draw. At first glance, red is at advantage for sure. I expected every move as you did till 5:10 . At this point, I actually said to myself wth can this be a draw..lol. If I was playing actual game without analyzing like this video, I would probably think I made a wrong move somewhere for leading white to a draw.

  • @Connen1 Hi! Thank you! You explain it very nicely.

  • Lovely video btw. :) Thanks for the response!

  • whats that song playing near the end?

  • @elitescar Hi! The song is called "Love Story" the theme from a movie with Ryan O'Neill and Ali McGraw. It was a long time ago the movie was made and also called "Love Story". Thank you for your question.

  • thanks man

  • hmmm didnt know this stragety.

  • @afa1506 Thank you! Good idea! Hope to do one soon.
