@JosephKuby Diane is so funny. Linda and I laughed the whole time. We couldn't sing if she sat in the control room because we would end up laughing. She's a brilliant song writer.

@jroccolv first time I heard this song was on Haddaway's debut, one of the songs that wasn't written by Coconuts crew of Tony and Karin....but a great song, one of Diane's best. This version is real good too :-)

Interestingly, the people in the picture here STILL aren't the ones singing the song... two aren't in it, and two are omitted. Brad Howell (man on the far left) is on it, he's the voice Rob lipsynched to on the first album. Ray Horton (red coat) is in it, but he was added as an afterthought when the truth about Rob & Fab came out. Gina Mohammed (the girl) is there too, but she's singing along with Jodie & Linda Rocco, and was also added afterwards. Ray and Gina weren't on the first album.

they are great singers no doubt. but those who only blame Rob & Fab should also remember that these guys too were part of the fraud (of course the producer was a brain behind it).

it's not like their songs were 'robbed' or anything. they knew what they were doing and accepted money for it. one could say they didn't have an option. well. so can be said about Rob & Fab. perhaps that explains why the 'real' band too faded away after this album. they may have wanted to keep a low profile.

I don't care anything about the lip-synching that Milli Vanilli had to do. Frank Farian who discovered Fab and Rob wrote it into their contract. They couldn't do anything about that despite their insistence to sing in their own voices. I still believe Milli Vanilli's top 4 singles in 1988 and 1989 are the best.

They were under contract not to say anything publicly or they would have faced more lawsuits than what they already had to deal with. The same manager of both groups didn't only formally screw "those two long haired fags" but this group as well, leaving three of the singers unmentioned. So who's wrong? Those bound by contract, or the one writing it?

@SqueezeBoxMan82 Nope. Charles Shaw (not pictured here) did the rap for "Girl You Know It's True". John Davis (far right) was Fab's voice on all the other songs. Brad Howell (far left) was on those songs, though. The rest of the people in the pic (Icy Bro, Ray Horton, and Gina Mohammed) weren't on the first album at all - they had even less to do with it than Rob & Fab.
