My honest opinion is that police, like teachers or any other public occupation, include good ones and bad ones. There are plenty of police that really don't care about your safety and well being, as some teachers really care more about pension than educating your kids properly.

@kazwaz78 I found that video and he didn't kick it. He lifted it with his foot and tossed it away from him. It didn't hurt the cat. It tried to come back and climb on him again.

It works well on people who already have a problem with police in the first place and don't bother to watch closely. I think that police departments should allow people to sign up for a "do not answer calls to my address because I hate cops" registration. I'd like to see how many people sign up for it.
