I got ME2 but will not play it. Pausing is just not right. it's cheating! If I'm the enemy, I'll be pissed off and call it quits. as far as being a "Shooter" RPG, yes. Mass Effect would be more like, Gears of War that you can actually play as your own character. I loved Fallout 3 (and 1 and 2 for that matter), so if you are a big Fallout fan, and don't NEED vats to do everything, you'll probably really enjoy this game.
Yeah she is a romance option, and I don't want to spoil anything from the 1st game, but if you've played ME 1 you should know why Wrex isn't in the squad.
This one uses your save file from the first game to transfer your choices and exp, ect and character design to the new one, so what ever you looked like, what ever choices you made, who ever you killed, and what ever your skill level is all carried into the next game, and the story starts from that point, how can that NOT be cool? All I have seen thus far is improvement on an already AWESOME game!!!!!!!!!!!!
actually your level doesn't transfer, since the combat system is completely redesigned and skills all changed it can't import skills that are no longer in the game or a part of a different class.
it will know if you were a high level and give you a small exp bonus because of that, but otherwise it won't import level stats
they didn't directly say for sure but they made it sound like your characters face will transfer and that you can tweak it a little before you start the game if yo uwant
they fixed the flaws for this one, and spent more money on it so that they spared no expense on the acting quality, they also expanded it so much that it takes up 2 disks now. Sounds pretty epic to me man.
i hate to hate but the "heavy" weapon didn't really seem that heavy. Its just like your average videogame grenade launcher really. Imo they should only give you around 6 shots which are really expensive/hard to find but blow the fuck outta everything!

you need the heat sinks to cool the gun down, without them the gun can't fire properly. so essentially it is the same as ammo but just not called ammo

I really liked conversations in ME1 it was fun to look cinematics, like killing that guy at ExoGeni, but still there is some mistakes in voices, in C-Sec there was that thurrian guy in Choras Den ritas mission, when it as compleated, there was another person voice
I was the hard ass Paragon guy i had way more fun my 3rd time through when i was trying to do the right thing, its freaken hard sometimes you really want to get saren but you can't let all those civilians die. This one looks so badass, i mean hiring assassins and lowlives doesn't sound super heroic gonna be dark i dunno...could i potentially do this the paragon way?
I'm actually exited about the uncharted worlds since now they say they're gona add more stuff and to be more exotic and the graphics looks way better (^_^)

In mass 1 everyone on my team survived except kaiden and wrex. I had to choose between ashley and kaiden and i chose ashley( i thought kaiden would make it). Wrex on the other hand, i didnt kill him. I calmed him down but ashley went against my command and killed him.

no remember mass has multiple endings . On mine i didnt let wrex die he actually helped me beat saren . If you make good choices then only kaiden dies thats good ending so replay game and i guarentee increase your paragon points so when wrex shootss the water you talk to him nice he calms down , remember this isnt halo theres more then one end on this game i played 3 times 1st i let citadel get destroyed second time i saved them and anderson was part of citadel council . They had better not fuck up the formula that they established in ME1. The fact that Shepard was a diplomat AND a tool of destruction gave the game a unique kind of tension & the plot made you care about your choices & what they could determine.

I'm quite sure that you can begin a new romance regardless of what you did in ME1. They wouldn't add a feature that's only accessible to people who did *not* play ME1 ('cause pretty much everybody who played ME1 also followed one of the romance paths).

I'm exactly the opposite. Biotics completely own and if I use soldiers, they are constantly dying no matter what armor and weapons I give them.

In mass 1 everyone on my team survived except kaiden and wrex. I had to choose between ashley and kaiden and i chose ashley( i thought kaiden would make it). Wrex on the other hand, i didnt kill him. I calmed him down but ashley went against my command and killed him.

no remember mass has multiple endings . On mine i didnt let wrex die he actually helped me beat saren . If you make good choices then only kaiden dies thats good ending so replay game and i guarentee increase your paragon points so when wrex shootss the water you talk to him nice he calms down , remember this isnt halo theres more then one end on this game i played 3 times 1st i let citadel get destroyed second time i saved them and anderson was part of citadel council . Last time i made seren

You know, the more I watch ME2 coverage, the more skeptical I'm becoming.
I'm not going to write a novel, but there's a red flag going up as I'm watching this;
They had better not fuck up the formula that they established in ME1. The fact that Shepard was a diplomat AND a tool of destruction gave the game a unique kind of tension & the plot made you care about your choices & what they could determine.
