Work on your dynamics I think everything in this might be a little too loud! start softer and get more of a contrast between the voices. Good stuff though!
omfg.. i just started learning latin this year and I thought I had the basic concept for latin. I hate being a left handed drummer it really brings limit to what I can play latin wise. I guess i need more practice.. nice job tho
being a lefty shouldn't limit what you can play, you jsut play it mirror-imaged to how rightys play it, just practice more and then it all fits together, its so fun to play
Yeah man, just practice hard and you'll be able to come up with more interesting and creative stuff than right handed drummers. And it can't hurt to be ambidextrous! :)
I like your beat. I was looking for a good Latin beat that wasn't entirely dependent on auxiliary equipment that i don't have. I'm gonna take some of your little fills and rhythms and use them in my senior exit project. Thanks for posting.

i seee that would make sense. and yes, rudiments are god. ive recently been just double stroking whenever i can and yeah ive gotten significantly faster aka in the vid ido some fast stuff. and in a vid im gonna put up soon i do fast stuff again and yeah its due to rudiments. wooooooooooooooo
i'm hoping to get a video fo my playing to some mars volta or something on, but dunno how it'll work out and such having music involed....we shall see. watch the skies
ahhaah, well i jsut used my didigtal camera which has a video setting... and if yo uplay along in headphones or something then you could jsut add the song in later when you edit it with windows movie maker or something... savvy?

Hey man, you aren't limited because you play left handed! Carter Beauford is also left handed and, in my opinion, he is a great drummer.

Yeah...But Ussually latin stuff (like the samba, or songo) up to speed is hard for begginners ( like me ) ALthough I'm pickin it up haha.
