As a member of the Armed Forces for 27 years, I can tell you this..we are all there because we see a need to be there. Those who oppose it obviously get the news from NBC or CBS or even worse CNN. You need to think for yourself, If you think this was all about oil I strongly suggest you consider having yoursel aborted..after all..don't liberals think abortion is okay too?

This war is about sending a message to countries who want to convert payment for their oil from dollars to euros. If we let one do it, the rest would soon follow, and our economy would come crashing down into a depression unlike we have ever seen. Read once in a while. You might learn something.

If you think about it, USA has not been to a real war since WW2. A real war is when too regular armies fight one another... First it was USA vs. Nazi Germany, now that's a real war. (Both sides hade tanks and aircraft and so on) In Vietnam it was USA vs. ... communist rebels with AK47: s. now its USA vs... Terrorism? US soldier: "Hey men are you a terrorist? If you say "yes" I will shoot you!" ^^

It is ironic that they were showing video of abusive British military soldiers while advertising the American military...
I would also contend that French and Russian policy concerning the Iraq war could be called a 'peace for oil,' being that they were content allowing a genocidal dictator stay in power as they made oil deals. That is what I call injustice.

There are dictators all over the world, many of whom the US has great relations with and have tolerated human rights abuses--what makes Saddam so different is that he was sitting on the oil reserves that our current leaders wanted. The ikkegal US invasion of Iraq was to push Russia and France out of Iraq oil deals, since they were trading in Euros, thus deflating the US dollar.
