  • Seriously?!?!?! Do you live in the U.S. and is English your first language? How hard is it to type in proper English? If you're under 18, please stay in school and if you're over 18, then God help us all! This is absolutely ridiculous! Follow your own advice. The next time you decide to post a comment, at least fake like you have the smallest bit of intelligence. Oh and kudos to people whose first language is not English. At least they try to get it right, what is your excuse?

  • i saw you at target

  • I never heard of the honey thing. Sounds cool!

  • i can use my food stamps to do my hair.... WURD!!!

  • What is "This"? What does this kind of treatment do?

  • Comment removed

  • MsBrice, Where is the actuall washing? I have marley twists in my hair. They have been in for 2 weeks. I see dandruff building up in the front so I want to wash ( & get the front redone). I mix 2 teaspoon of BS with 4cups water. Then pour the mixture onto my scalp? Or massage the mixture into the parts(meaning Ill need help)Thanks.

  • so how do you mix the honey, apple cider vinegar, water etc. together and how do you wash it. I have little girls and i want to make sure i do it right.

  • how many times per week do you do this?

  • are you from the Caribbean?

  • Hi, Everyone separates the baking soda and ACV. Can't the 2 be applied as a mixture with the same effect?

  • @ZawadiSimone No, because of the chemical reaction that occurs when you combine the two. It's great for cleaning, though (kitchen & bathroom, sinks, counter tops). Try it for house cleaning. As soon as you combine the 2 (bkg.soda & acv), you'll see why you don't want to combine them on your head. :)

  • I watched this vid two years ago and wanted to thank you for posting this. When I wore dreadlocks I used this method!! Love you vids. You helped me to go greener. Thank you

  • Looking good there, Ms Brice. :-D

  • How do i keep my hair from not being greasy? I tried this and it was VERY greasy. I only have a week before school...

  • wtf it's look like recipe lol

  • is that good for ur hair

  • @corissa1000 yeah.. it cleans it out u shouldn not do it everyday even washing ur hair everyday is not good.. do this every week and ur sculp and ur hair will be really clean and healty

  • I just have a comment about products...

    Quality matters...

I like Organic raw apple cider vinegar which you can get at your local health food stores like trader joe's, wholefoods market, mother's market, etc.

for honey, always use raw honey... sold at healthfood stores too, most honey is pasteurized which means cooked and they cook the enzymes right out. GEt raw honey!!!

  • Hey hey! I went to church with you lol on Power of Faith on Park heights avenue. How cool!

  • aw :-) l0ve ur accent

  • can u do this w.o cutting ur hair

  • r u sure all of dat is ok 4 u 2 wash ur hair wid?

  • Nice tip about the honey. I'm going to have to try that.

  • You're so beautiful!

  • ur pretty ...look like my cousin

  • Can I do this if I have dreads?

  • You probabyly can. I guess you would just have to make sure that you rinse well to wash all of the acv out.

  • ok does this only work for natural hair?

  • thats not true first of all becuause my hair is not dry and brittle my hair very much below my ears in fact in brastrap length and IT IS REAL and i wash my hair 3 times a week. and more importantly the term is not NIGGER!!!

  • I love love your vds!! your information is very helpful. keep us going through the natural hair journey. being natural is truelly the right way. keep up the good spirit and God bless you.

  • i was hoping to see an AFTER scene. did you do that?

  • Wow...you're beautiful.

  • What type of rosemary essential oil do you use? Is it body oil?

  • Raw Organic Apple Cider Vinegar is always the best. The store brands are missing 'the mother'. 'The mother' looks like somethin kinda strange floating around in the bottle. Do a google/search to see what I'm talkin about. Important stuff.

I almost feel sorry for those that cant understand why any1 would want to use something cheap & natural vs. mainstream overpriced chemicals they know nothin about.

  • I absolutely agree with you. Plus things such as baking soda, apple cider vinegar, oils, etc have more than one use. So you don't need to buy a truckload of new products just to go greener. :)

  • It helps clarify the hair and scalp from product buildup.

  • Very informative!!

  • can someone pleease tell (if your a londoner that is) where to find apc please i cani find it anywhere!!:(

    check out my vids

  • Do you mean ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar)? You can get it in any supermarket, Asda, Tesco, Sainsburys its Apple flavoured vinegar used for cooking.

  • Like many products in the kitchen ACV has many uses apart from cooking it helps remove build up of products from the hair.

  • hey!

where!!? I can never find it anywhere you sure they havent stopped selling them?? do you buy any?

  • Prehaps youve been looking in the wrong section of the Supermarkets. You dont have to buy the Heinz one like the poster is using you can by the shops own brand or whatever your budget allows. It's sold along with regular vinegar or try a health food shop but theyre usually more expensive. Yes, i do use it and have bought it at least once at all of the supermarkets i mentioned below.

  • lol. I look in the correct sections but I am going to definately look again as I have a tendancy to look things over too quickly! I get back to you.xxthanks

  • just bought it! yea me! I am such a dougnut.lol however its called cyder vinegar I read the back to realise that its the same as acv! so there you go!lol chack out my vids let me know what you think gonna subscribe to you right now..thats if I havent already :)

  • at walmart in the isle with regular vinegar

  • Can you tell me where to buy those essential oils please?

  • I also used the acv and baking soda rinse. After leaving braids in my hair for 2 months without washing them I had so much build-up. This mixture cleared the buildup so well. I couldn't believe my scalp got that clean with just some baking soda mixed in a cup of water.

  • OH MY GOODNESS!!! I've been reading about baking soda and ACV rinse for a long time now but I never got around to trying it until today. I did this with my daughter's hair and my jaw dropped!!!! Her scalp was SO clean and after rinsing with the ACV, her hair was SOOOOOO easy to detangle and with my FINGERS!! And she has a HEAD FULL of hair!

She complained about the smell at first, but when I ran my fingers through her hair like it was nothing she decided that the smell wasn't too bad. LOL THNX

  • What conditioner did you use with your acv treatment. I've heard some conditioners give better detangling results when used with ACV based on their PH balance.

  • I used the baking soda once and my hair turned white and stiff lol, does that mean i used to much?

  • yeah! You should only use about 1-2 tablespoons!

  • you're fine :)

  • okay first of all, that sounds totally racist, and second of all, i think u just called yourself a ape:

to human out side of my apes race

  • lol y not?

  • have you use dorganic shampoos? Like Jason, Dr. Bronners, Giovanni, or Organix? I don't think those are counter productive to growth. they contain essential oils.

  • Marry me.

  • your putting a recipe in your head lol

  • cool, one question...

did do u comb out ur hair b4 washiing it? after taking out ur braids...

  • thanks tried just washing my hair with backing soda , vineger and some water my hair felt really soft and smooth great video very helpfull

  • hello, i like what i have seen from your video and i'm going to try this method. i would like for you to please give me all the ingredients that you used, i think i heard all of the ingredients. i would like to make sure i wrote them all down. thanks

  • Hi where do I get the shea butter? And do you add shampoo with the baking soda? Or just the 4 cops of water with the 2 spoons of baking soda? And how much apple cedar vinegar do you use and where do you get the rosemary oil?

  • I LOVE YOU

  • Would I only half-succeed if I leave out the ACV rinse?

  • can this be used on relaxed and colored hair?

  • yes it can.

  • hey....i luv ya videos...they are very informative....i am weraing micros to transition....i was just wondering if i cud use the methods in your video to wash my braids or should i just use regular shampoo and conditioner. thanks.....peace and luv

  • hi is bicarbonate of soda the same as baking soda?

  • yes...baking soda is the same as sodium bicarbonate, or HCO3.

  • Thank you so much for doing this.

  • I am proud of you for staying natural.

  • can i use the mixture on my dreadlocks?

  • yes you can. just make sure the baking soda is properly diluted

  • i'm going to be doing this.

lol i read that baking soda lightens hair, and rosemary darkens it ^_^

  • Do you think you could make the mix and then refrigerate it or something, or would you recommend that I should just make a fresh batch every time I wash my hair?

  • So you're in the shower, rinse your hair, use 4 cups warm, distilled water and 2 Tablespoons baking soda mixed together in a bowl, and pour and rub it in your hair then rinse it off with the ACV and rinse again with water. Yea?

  • just rinse with acv.

  • so it really grows your hair?

  • It keeps your hair healthy

  • Baking soda???? apple vinegar... Why? - is this some new thing??

  • People have been using this method for a long time. These are natural, cheap alternatives to chemical products and they do the job even better! Try it and see.

  • Why use baking soda

  • cause it's natural and doesn't contain any harsh chemicals and gets your hair clean without stripping it of its natural oils

  • my cousins hair is natural, she has no intention of putting chemicals in it how can she look after it?

    Thanks

  • hey i wanted to know if i could wash and rinse my dreads the same as the above video?

  • just did it yesterday and my hair feels great!!!

  • does it make your hair grow well

  • with the baking soda do you part your hair first and then just pour the mixture over dry hair? or mix it and then pour it over wet hair? Then do you rinse with the vinegar instead of water? sorry about all the questions

  • you should really try using Raw organic ACV. Can get it at any health food store

  • Hey- I was researching ACV tonight for myself and stumbled upon your video. I don't usually leave comments like this, but your sexy and you sound smart too!

  • cool

  • is there a video that shows what it looks like after?

  • Yea, the next video on how to do twist was taken on the same day, right after I washed it with Baking Soda and ACV

  • u look pretty and sexy with ur natural hair!

  • I also use the baking soda and acv concoction and it is the best. I alternate with conditioner washes by using my favorite conditioners my hair loves it!
