I love iphonebrowser! It saved my life when I tried to chang the lockclock.ttf file to make the lockscreen clock go away and instead caused it to reboot infinitely, so with iphonebrowser I fixed it without restoring!

ok, found out that the iphone explorer had a glitch in the past revisions, but now is working under ver .992 . I still am a newbie and haven't figured out where to place the applications so they will show up on my iphone, but at least you can get to the real root directory and edit all information files.

9) Run iphonebrowser icon from the folder and it will work

hmmm when i delete downloaded iTunesMobileDevice.dll from iphonebrowser and launch iphonebrowser, there is different error on the bottom of the window - it says, that my iphone is connected, but not jailbroken....it IS jailbroken.... and why did i not have iTunesMobileDevice.dll on my pc? it seems that i cant use downloaded iTunesMobileDevice.dll

If your using vista 64, you must use v.1.93 or it will crash. If the iphone browser doesn't recognize your jailbreak then got to cydia and search for afc2 and install. Rebbot and all should be fine :)

Same thing happend to me but i fixed it and its very easy to do

1) Download and install iPhone Browser v1.9.3.0

2) On your iPhone or iPod Touch, open Cydia or Rock Your iPhone, and search for "ssh" and download "automatic ssh", once installed it should reboot your iPhone or iPod Touch

3) On you iPhone or iPod Touch, open Cydia or Rock Your iPhone again, search for "afc2" and download 'afc2add"

4) Open iPhone Browser and it should now work. NOTE: for firmware 3.1.2 jailbreak with blackra1n

I used ziphone to jailbreak to 1.1.4 and i have mobile finder, bsd subsystem, openssh, and services installed. I made sure ssh was on with services. The var folder still doesn't show up. Any suggestions?

yes, im finding that with ziphone that it doesnt have a var folder or something like that, but i know for fact that if you use ipodtouchmasters upgrade were you start in 1.1.2 and it auto upgrades you to 1.1.3 or 1.1.4 then it works. But the ziphone method doesnt work at all. Ive tried using it with 1.1.4 and 1.1.3 and it still doesnt work.

hhm, make sure you have bsd subsystems installed, openSSH and servies, use openSSH to make sure that you SSH is on. if that doesnt work use services to make sure its on. comment back if that doesnt work
