  • What will be the resolution of 3 x dell u3011 as each has a resolution of 2560x1600

  • @namankamran it will be same as 7680x1600

  • @namankamran 2560x3 equals 7680. Simple math

  • I have the g13 and g19 too but only 3 24" monitors with a hd 6970

  • i can see a mac there....

  • What's the use of having anything above 2560x1600, I don't get it anymore.

  • do all monitors need to be Eyefinity Compatible???

  • @Willstrikesbk no any will do if u haz adapters if need be

  • put the different one in the middle idiot

  • @idan124 Hey artard, no one gives a shit....

  • @CNLehr ok nerd!

  • @idan124 If you were trying to offend me.... you failed miserably.

  • @idan124 Nerds make the money, also, who cares if the different one is on the right? Last I checked, I look at the game when playing, not the frame around it.

  • @R0FLC4T5 who talk about fps i just say taht if u have one different monitor at the two other so probrbly the picture should be different compare the 2 monitors are the same so... batter way to put it on middle and dont send amasage back thx!

  • @idan124 sorry about my eng

  • @idan124 I said...the frame around it. As in I don't care what color the monitor is....

  • if you use single card won't that it soo much load to the card that it reduces the FPS ???

  • @leekimlanuza Of coure it does. There's little chanse that you'll get more than 30 fps with that resolution in newer games like Crysis 2 or BF3 using single gpu card.

  • Did he say fuck at 2:49?

  • @tazss159 No, he said "if I can remember how". the "if I can" sounded like the f word

  • @relent107luke Oh ok, lol, it sounded like the f word.

  • ......but i have a photo with 50 million pixels :( what do i do?

  • are these monitors 120hz??

  • @vertigo7096 You can't have a 2560x1600 monitor at 120hz on dual link DVI. Dual link dvi can carry 2560x1600@60Hz, or 1920x1200@120Hz, because they both require the same amount of input (2560x1600= double the pixels of 1920x1200)... hope I helped

  • @ii69HD yes It did thank you thats what I was wondering if I made A mistake because I have 3 120hz 1920 by 1080 monitors, but If I went bigger I wouldnt get 120hz which is a necesity..

  • @vertigo7096 120hz is only needed for NVIDIA 3D Vision

  • @DaBurntToaster

True you need 120hz for 3D but, you also need 120hz if you want SUPER smooth gaming with no stuttering. Thats why I was wondering because I have 3 120hz 1920 by 1080 monitors and was wondering if they make 120hz monitors that are bigger, but apparently they do not according to ii69HD who also responded to my comment.

There is a Very noticible difference between and 60hz and a 120hz monitor in the level of smoothness and it feels ALOT better looking at 120hz then 60hz believe

  • @vertigo7096 probably, i've been planning on getting a new monitor set up with 3 monitors, you mind telling me which one you got, if 120 is alot smoother than 60 then i think i might just get 3 of those

  • @DaBurntToaster Well if your getting them for gaming 120hz is the way to go, personally I have 3 BenQ XL2410T .... despite some of the reviews that say there is backlight leaking I havnt had that problem in any of the 3. If ur just looking to use programs then 120hz isn't that important but you can notice the difference even when just dragging a window across the screen of a 120hz monitor its so much smoother. 120hz > gaming | 60hz and higher Res > programming .... up to you..

  • no? not all of us have tried eyefinity. not all of us have the crack money you have

  • Did you already test it on a 3th Samsung screen ? Because some raport that the Displayport to DVI converter doesn't work that wel on a non Apple screen.

  • @killomaster I have that adapter and it works fine with the 3007WFP-HC and 3008WFP. Both 30" displays by Dell. I had zero problems with either monitor with the Apple Dual-Link DVI to Mini-Display Port adapter. =)

  • @droknron Oke thx, now i don't have to order a special one from a webshop. Lucky i have 2 mini displayports on my card, so i don't have to get the second adaptor.

  • looks kind of distorted....

  • That is pretty awesome but the aspect ratio for that size resolution should be 4.8:1 16:9 makes it look weird

  • @johndoegsm It's not 16 x 9.... it's 48 x 9...... it's just the side monitors stretch the picture slightly, which happens in all games but more so in competitive games, the source engine stretches the side screens quite a bit, it's based on the engine and the fov you have set.

  • How does it work in average pc work and can you set it up so when you maximize a window it only fills one monitor?

  • umm... the apple cinema display is only 27".... so its three 27" since all the screens are the same.

  • @eirikol1 No... That's the older 30" Cinema display from years ago; it's no longer in production.

The 27" is 16:9 and has a retarded black bezel and stand.

  • I run 4360x1600, 2 narrow 16x9 on the side (20") and a single 30 in the middle, works very well but not truely supported by eyefinity, damn ATi...however its much cheaper

  • fucking thought a single 24" was big before I saw this video

  • Pretty sweet, now get me 3 monitors

  • I can imagine playing Call of Duty on this and have an enemy sniper on the screen but he's behind a bezel and getting raped. I would RAGE for many years to come at the one who thought of this setup with the bezel horse shit!

  • @HairyDONG69 It doesn't work that way.

There's nothing "behind" the bezel, it's a gap between pixels. If he were right there he'd be split across both monitors.

  • @bobbytimberlake However there can be a situation where there is something off one screen and isn't far enough over to be on the other display, I had a dual monitor setup and ran into that, it was a SHIT setup because it was a nothing computer but I got sniped, because the sniper, was in an area that was not on my displays.

  • @HairyDONG69 The image goes straight from pixel to pixel, regardless of bezel.

There's nothing between the monitors--you can't have something go off one monitor and not be on the other, any more than you could have something disappear between two adjacent pixels on the same monitor.

The only way for someone to be off your screen is if he's out of your field of vision, to the far left/right/bottom/top.

  • NICE FUCKING SET UP!... Can i buy some coke?

  • @EpicCheeseTime LOL WANT A DIME OR A QUARTER?:DDD

  • dude how did you do the windows task bar in the middle screen i can't find anything to do that help plz thanks

  • You could have gotten a mini display to Dvi port adapter from like staples rather than using a million apples lol.

  • lol a apple monitor.

  • my head got spinning for a moment there ... crazy shit... but i still prefer 3x3 screens... NASA got themselves such thing and the army..

  • just cause you have an amazing computer doesn't make you amazing at games. lol but great video.

  • G19 rulez

  • Bezel correction??

  • i have that background of ur computer

  • that is the sweetest thing i have ever seen in my fucking young life.

  • and if any1 wants to know, to run 3 monitors you have to diasble crossfire, but you can run games over three. you need that adapter

  • hey, can anyone tell me if the apple adapter like the one hes using will work on a samsung monitor (not an apple one) ?

  • hey - where can i find that math?(?) where you have your keyboard and mouse

  • @mymichellegunsnroses Do a search for " Large Gaming Mouse Mat"

  • What is the point for having too many screens? It looks stupid to me.

  • @damtachoa LOl. that just does not compute. I dont even understand what you mean by that.

  • @damtachoa Seriously, if you don't like it then get the fuck out with all do respect. It's just that some people like the "extra room" and prefer it, this is also very fluent for businesses and such other related things. BUT - Since I do not actually have the room right now for a 3 display i'm just going to stick with my Nvidia 580GTX which i'm loving and soon will create a ATi rig and see how I like it anyway's I hope this some's it up. And PC ON! :D

    ~Aala12

  • what is the card

  • if you buy me one of those i will buy all your crack or coke!

  • Impresive. Thumbs up.. :)

  • nice setup dood thumbs up if u think so

  • Graphic Details are low..

He should try it on Crysis with "Very High"

  • @Canstar168 but seriously thought..... is crysis gameplay really that good?... watched trailers and gameplay still the only thing i see is the graphics so i never tried it...

  • Out of all the video's on You Tube, this guy actually took the time out to actually show you what you needed and explained the key elements to running multi displays, the double duel DVI adapter and the mini display adapter to the display adapter,i have been trying to get my three screens to run but kept running into problems,i can't understand why ATI sells eyefinity yet don't give you the dam cables straight out of the box? instead of running into an Apple shop to buy their cables,WHATSTHEPOINT

  • That monitor on the right looks different, it makes the whole setup look not-that kewl.

  • which gpu do you use ?

  • haahhahaha xD when i watched this movie the first "AD" that went up was "Are you single? maybe a virgin?" I was laughing so hard xD

  • my 5870 3840x1024 eyefinity setup just got raped

  • my eyefinity 3840x1024 setup just go raped

  • do things full screen to cover all 3 now tho? :/

  • your fucking hilarious!

  • sucks

  • I've been doing this for almost two years using three 24" widescreen monitors connected to a Matrox Triple Head 2 Go box. Nice thing about the Matrox is you can do Bezel management and adjust the monitors so the bezel becomes part of the screen so if something goes behind the bezel it actually disappears behind the bezel.

  • @dcjajap How is that a good thing? I'm curious.

  • @dragonmustard2: I'm not sure how to explain it, but let's say you have a diagonal line going from the top left corner of the left monitor all the way to the bottom right of the third monitor. On most multi-monitor setups, that diagonal line gets broken up in two spots and doesn't become a true diagonal line but three separate lines that don't connect. With Bezel Management you can move the left and right monitors 'into' the center monitor such that the line is now connected.

  • @dcjajap

Wouldn't there be a space where the true bezel exists that you can not physically view?

  • @dragonmustard2 Yes there is that physical black bar. The image goes behind the physical bezel just as if you were in a real airplane and the window struts block your view. Would you like me to make a video for you to see what I'm talking about?

  • r u rich?

  • l4d thats not even a good test.... l4d blows btw

  • @gdiaz7367 you blow.

  • If you think this is a Big Resolution Go to Johnjsu He Has 3 46 inch Tvs

  • @ModernAssassian no the resolution is still higher on these 2560x1600 vs 1920x1080 for each monitor

  • @cloudbook1994 He has 3 46" Tv's Add That Up Smart Guy He On has 30" Tvs So Think Smart Guy

  • Hi Maxishine, what gaming pad/surface are you using in this video?

  • do you reckon i would be able to run triple display with a HD4250 integrated and a HD5670 card using hybrid crossfirex?

  • @furiousfr4nk nope

  • @miKitAgE haha dont worry anymore :P i have triple display running on the one card :D

  • Chuck Norris wouldn't need that many monitors, he would only have to look at the computer, and hypnotize it, the he knows everything!

  • sell that crap apple monitor and get a better one ffs....

  • Ditch that Apple monitor (it's garbage) and get a HP ZR 30W.

  • @IMPER1ALDRAGON how is it garbage it got like best 30" monitor award

  • @cloudbook1994 Apple 30" has a horrible 16ms response time, its way overpriced and its contrast ratio is a pathetic 350:1

  • @IMPER1ALDRAGON The most 30" cinemas I've seen in one room is 32. This panel absolutely owns the post production studio industry for good reason. I don't think kids playing video games is really a big market for Apple :-)

  • @toranamunter HP ZR 30w is much better. It covers 99% of Adobe color gamut. Just look at the specs.

  • Lol look up swifty new studio. He's a beast wow player with 3 46" eyefinity monitors.

  • i would have to overlap the screens becuase the gape between screens is swhit i dunno how u can play with 3 screens with massive gaps

  • i would put the white on in the middle if i were you

  • you are one bad-ass nolifer. I LIKE IT :D

  • EFFING SICK SHIT....... youve inspired me good sir!!!!!!!!

  • is there an fps drop for eyefinity?

  • @danthaman7777 not fps drop, more likely u need a strong GPU to play on high reso...

same thing when you could play 800x600 on high with a voodoo3 GPU,

  • @danthaman7777 as long as aa is low/ off its not too bad

  • i thought the max was 3 ~22" screens at 1920x1200 from one card! damn man, impressive!

  • im not the multi screen type for 3 reasons, 1 things are stretched, 2 u have to turn u head completely instead of ur eyes and 3 the space it takes up or power

  • @trancemaster1996 You've got it wrong it doesn't stretch the image, it adds on to the image, so the middle screen is what you normally see, plus the 2 monitors on the side add more peripheral vision, like if you were to play 1080p(1920x1080) and have 3 of those 1080p screens, you will get 5670x1080, which means much more screen space and you only have to turn your head if you've got enemies r\unning on the side of the screens or your moving windows onto those screens.

  • @Ishykawa Oh naa as if i didnt know that it just feels stretched and i know the primary screen is the middle. its just too much for a personal opinion, it wont feel stretched if there was 3 more screens on top, lol then i would probably use it!

  • ich bekomms nich hin mit der HD 5770!

  • Hey maxishine, I noticed the 3 22" monitors appear to be on the one stand. If that is so, I was wondering what stand you bought to be able to do this? Cheers.

  • oh... sorry, i didnt watch the video too far in before commenting :-) now i know... fair enough then

  • whats the reason for having one apple display? if you can afford all that stuff, then why not just get 3 the same..?

  • I googled 3x30" eyefinity and this video came up. I was hoping no one had this set up yet. I died a little inside and kind of have an unexplainable hatred for you. Congrats on the setup, this is ridiculously sweet.

  • @K31TH3R check out a gamer called swifty his Youtube user is something like jonhnstu hes a wow player who plays on 3x46"

  • @K31TH3R lol nicely put, bang goes my savings

  • @K31TH3R ciao mi dai una descrizione passo dopo passo come configurare eye finity con 3 monitor? aspetto una tua risposta grazie ciao

  • And then i thought 2560x1600 was bad ass. Well...

  • oh my gold,I never like that computer !!!!!

  • what determines the angle that the monitors can be placed at? can you set it, does it just show the picture as flat or is each meant to at a specific angle?

  • @girass quote..

  • Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuckkkkkkkk

  • i can never play with multi monitor unless someone makes a monitor without a border, the border ruins everything.

  • @idiiidit just like everything else in life you grow accustomed to the bezels after a short while you wont even notice thety are there!!

  • @idiiidit cut it off....

  • how much did this cost you?

  • psu - Antec 700 watt

cpu - Amd Anthlon Dual Core Processor 2.50 ghz

    ram - 4gb ddr2 800 mhz

    gpu - ATI HD 5770 1gb

mobo - NVIDIA GeForce 6100 Motherboard

so my question is how could i run 3 screens using this setup. would i need to buy 1 monitor that is dvi one that is hd and one that is vga.

also would i be able to run games like call of duty mw2 or black ops when its released.

  • @thejamieboy0 cpu is kinda outdated but it will do it's job, and you can use an adaptor.

  • @thejamieboy0 you need a ATI Radeon™ HD 5870 Eyefinity 6 to use the eyefinity technology your 5770 don't work

  • @Sinni2992 The 5770 will run eyefinity as long as it's a displayport model. There are plenty videos here on youtube of people running eyefinity with a 5770.

  • @Wilburnator ah ok thanks I do not know that

  • @Sinni2992 i have a 5770 running eyefinity

  • @Midas617 me 2 =D

  • @thejamieboy0 It would help if one monitor had a Display Port, if not then you can get a DVI / VGA to DisplayPort adapter which is the port on the graphics card next to the HDM Port/

  • Remember I was here.Thai

  • omg maxi cursed lol

  • What is your job? :P I bet you're a dealer!

  • @dangerturk lmfao! i dont have that good of computer!

  • @yz250thatownsyou Admit it, you are dealing either crack or coke..

  • @dangerturk Obviously you haven't spoken to a crack or coke dealer. They don't make sense.

  • @dangerturk and they say global crisis

  • @dangerturk both

  • This is an outdated video now. You can buy "Eyefinity" ATI 5870 and 5850 cards with 6 mini-display ports on the back. All you need are mini-display port to whatever connectors your monitors have. If you need a dual-link DVI, you'll be spending $100 on an adapter. If you just need display port or single-link DVI you'll be spending $15 to get a third (most Eyefinity video cards with 6 mini-display ports on the back come with 2 adapters for DVI and display port).

  • Where did you get the mini displayport to displayport cable?

  • @shoopg yes good question bump!!!!! (was looking all day for one!!!)

  • i dont really like it im still only focusing on the middle moniter

  • there is only walls on the both side screens...

  • looks good... but i do see what some people mean by the / \ effect... yes even 1 monitor has this problem, so i guess we can't really get rid of it.

But seriously, 3 screens??? isn't that a bit overkill??? (apart from huge physically moving simulators then yes a wide screen is good) but for home gaming this is borderline rediculous. 1 screen has been enough for so many years now, why all of a sudden is there a need for more screens??? and where do we draw the line, 16 screens by 9 ???

  • @ibainesy This kind of setups have become more popular because now its possible to do easily (and it's cool). Three is a good number because then there's no borders straight in front of your eyes, but the picture is still symmetrical. And its natural to expand the desktop to the sides of the screen (we like widescreen and panorama images etc.). And I think that the money will draw the line for each of us.

  • I do like eye finity, however, I do hate the whole / \ thing if you get my drift? When I turn my head, that ISN'T what I see, but in games it happens all the time, the sides are stretched, like I'm looking down a corridor, when I turn, onside moves forward, the other moves back, making it look weird.

If no one understands.. I'll try an make it a bit clearer, this is kind of a mid-morning rant, I'm tired an trolling youtube >.> lol.

  • @Evadex87 I think I'm following you.. yeah.. that would be annoying.

  • @Evadex87 one side moves forward*

  • @Evadex87 A classic example of this is seen in Duke Nukem 3D, I still notice it in games today, unless its an RTS game.

  • @Evadex87 That's a side-affect of the perspective model we use in games (linear mapping from a 4x4 projection matrix), and also the reason fov's cannot exceed 180.

It starts to become noticeable once you exceed 90 degrees (which we're doing more often, now, with larger monitors).

If nvidia and/or ati release a support extension for panoramic rendering then we can start to adapt games for it.

It may also be able to be forced, driver-level.

Hopefully this will happen when this becomes more common.

  • FUCK MY LIFE!!! IF I COULD GET L4D JUSTTTT TO RUN ON 1 MONITER W/O LAG THAT WOULD BE GREAT!!!!!

  • id suggest putting the apple monitor in the middle, think it would look way better

  • @Fowtowsjop hes got the third samsung now

  • @7gamer7guy7 yup noticed that on his newer vids :)

  • It look stretches , if only Source let u run "real" 7680 x 1600 without stretch

  • maxishine u rich bastard!! its me johnny87au from xtremesystems etc.. love ur work :D

  • anyone knows which background that is?

  • @mastermindzh he made it himself...

  • What keyboard u got !!

  • @GkXcrew i believe its the g18 or g19 keyboard from logitech

  • Comment removed

  • @GkXcrew i think it's a logitech G15

  • @GkXcrew It's the Logitech G19 but this Keyboard is really expensive,

he does also have the G13 Gamepad and, i think, the G9x Mouse.

  • AND NOW i wanna see it in 3D!

  • OMG I AM SO EXCITED haha

  • uhm i have a very very good question...

can you give me your pc?? =)
