@gjadc there was a faith spin-off planned, but he couldn't get enough of it off the ground. there were a few spin-offs planned, but it fell through. there was a faith/xander one, a slayer school, giles (which was to be a ripper movie in the uk, but that never happened), and i think a willow one too. neither of these shows worked out. the closest to a spin-off outside of angel was the buffy cartoon. you can find the treatment for that on youtube easily.

@WhiteWerewolf a Faith spinoff was actually going to be made where Faith was the hero, but Eliza didn't feel Faith was the hero type so they cancelled that and they created Tru Calling instead where Eliza plays a hero type but it's not Faith

@WhiteWerewolf what i heard was they all got offered own shows but they all reclained. Personally i think faith willow and spike was the only one they could build anything on as far as carcter go.Willow could have lasted maybe for a season before it got dull,faith and spike nit sure sure

Its funny her saying she was only on Buffy for like a season and a half. Just shows what an amazing character Faith was because it feels like she was practically one of the main cast members even though she wasn't in every season.

I really like that the Buffy spirit is still alive amongst the old cast. It's nice that there's possibilities for more to happen in that universe, hopefully something on the screen again... :)

@MeekoTown hmmmmm.. she didn't make THE impression on me on angel she made on buffy.. she went through much more transitions at Buffy.. and lets face it it was awesome for the story when she was evil :)

@MeekoTown Yeah 5 x 5 was really an amazing episode. "I'M EVIL!" Was cool as a viewer to go from hating her to really feeling sorry for her. Then when she accepts her punishment in prison until Angelus' returns and she just breaks out like nothing. She really pulled off the "I cold have done that at any time if I had wanted" scene.

I think that Rossum Corporation would be a great Big Bad on Buffy... maybe with a crossover (such as the discovering that Echo is Faith :D) .

@NIDELLANEUM That sounds interesting, but I think Echo was previously known as Caroline. I'm sure they can easily work it out to make it fit. I think your idea sounds really cool though.

@Fear9611 the guy who made the original one which has nothing to do with the buffy series is doing a follow up to that movie where again it will have nothing to do with the series

it s strange he would not be involved in that project. there again, the series turned out good. why would he try to make another movie out of it playing in highschool? that would be a major step back

@drinkyourtea yes it was his work back then! he was so unhappy how they turned it (too much slapstick or I dont know how to say that in English, but you know not what he wanted), so for years the idea of redoing it for television stuck with him. he wanted to do it "the right way", darker than the movie, more sarcasm, drama&comedy, a stronger female etc for television. didn't he achieve that :-D
