@egyptianminor The literal German transcription is, "Gunter glieben glauchen globen", and it is nonsense; it has no meaning. The band used that nonsense phrase while rehearsing this song (as opposed to the usual "1,2,3,4!), and then thought it would be cool to insert the phrase at the very beginning of the track before any vocals or instruments are heard. It was a brilliant idea, as back in 1983, everyone wanted to know what it meant. (I was 12 years old - ah, music was really good back then!)

To those who remember DEF-L in pre 1980? They remain to be a legend in a derivitive amongs rivals - they were distinctive on a higher level of the playing field. I met fellow rockers from canada - When I was in Montana, during the 80's who were like the band mates themselves in spirit and mind. We went down the highway rockin to the ages in a time of respectable triumph and fellowship.

I will miss the laughter and diatribe of the moment forever...
