  • I thought this was in D dorian minor? They'rr playing it here in A minor??

  • what year was this and what dvd is it off fromj+

  • @tylermorin1000 Its from their 1999 "Live From The Sun" DVD. This acoustic song is in their Bonus features along with the acoustic version of "Will The Sun Rise When Its Over." It's a great DVD.

  • They should've made an album with songs like that.

  • Sounds like they tuned it down for Don. His voice was starting to go here.

  • where i can find this acoustic gig?

  • Love Dokken, love this song, and this acoustic version is awesome...

  • Where's George?

  • i miss you else!

  • good but loses most of the dinamic of the power ballad verison leaving it rendered emotionless to me

  • thats the bassist jeff pilson

  • dude can u tab this for me and make a vid great song

  • Dokken your still so cute

  • Pilson can sing.

  • wow, always loved this song and loved Dokken. what memories. love it!!!

  • One of the best acoustic songs they did...

The Dvd Live from the Sun...is awesome! Thanks for posting this!

  • one of my faves from one of my fave bands.

  • can anybody tell me the chords used here. i can only make out a few c's d's and g's

  • yeah its got Am & F in it as well! Hope that helps?

  • i love this version of the song. dokken are so good acoustically

  • My own opinion as to why don isnt singing this in its original key is because of the high pitch.

  • Do anyone knows if this video clip is on a DVD, and in case which one???

  • Awesome Musicians!

  • Where is George?

  • very cool!!

  • Brilliant

  • it is difficut to sing in key when you play live....is this Pilson the other guy?

  • Yes he is Pilson

  • this would have been way better if lynch was there rippin on an acoustic, still it's a good ballad and one of three dokken songs i keep on my ipod

  • This song actually sounds great unplugged.

  • excelente acustico 5/5

  • my favorite Dokken ballad,,just wish Don sang it on key,,,as he seemed to tone it down a bit.The guitars sound ok,,,not tuned down too bad,,,I know he still has it. He didnt need to scream through the whole thing just pick up the range a little more.

  • loved the solo dokken on and on

  • why the 80s singers, lost his voices,i mean the power, is the same with joey tempest from europe. but bach from skidrow is the eception

  • @alvarezjoey Sebastian Bach is much younger than Don Dokken. He is now 58 and was 42 when this was recorded. I think Bach was still in his 20s if not very early 30s during the time of this DVD.

  • whers is george?

  • dokken rulz

  • Great song,,,but its tuned way down. I hate when bands do this. Sing it in the same tone with the acoustics,,,,man it aint hard,,,,he can still hit the high notes.

  • I agree. I don't like the song in this key. But they can do whatever they want I suppose.

  • Don always wanted to play guitar in Dokken, backing up Lynch, Lynch was totally against this and insisted on a back up guitarist behind the curtain for live shows, this was the main divider between the two of them. Don aint a bad guitar player but watchin this is not the same without Lynch.

  • what year is this?

  • this will be great addition to my dokken coleection thank you for posting

  • what dvd/vid is this from?

  • 1 night live

  • rocks!
