people use organic or baby toothpaste, most toothpaste has flouride, which stains your teeth and does bad to your health. Check out Alex Jones on flouride for more info. GOD bless u guys
I just started using Melaleuca's toothpaste and love it. My teeth are getting whiter without the silica. I've never had that happen with any commercial whitening toothpaste.
Now if only flossing with braces wasn't such a pain!
If your teeth are fine to this point, you're okay. It's hard to find good toothpaste that ISN'T whitening toothpaste, and I doubt every one of them is detrimental to your teeth. Really, I wouldn't worry.
Also, you are recommended to NOT floss three times a day. I have never heard a dentist suggest flossing three times a day. If you floss more than once a day, it's not good for your gums.
I have that problem when brushing my teeth. I scrub them to where the bristles of the brush become smooshed too much. But notice that bad breath returns in about an hour after you brush? It's actually natural. But we can help prevent a few things like harmful cavities, and eliminate bad breath TEMPORARILY.
@2winitall You need to know you can get rid of almost all your bad breath by simply buying a tongue scarper. 80% of all your bad breath is from that and sadly you need to use that everyday maybe twice if you eat bad foods like milk, cheese products or lactic acids. I swear you will not see bad breath if u simply scrape your tongue if your getting bad breath from 20% then you seriously need to brush your damn teeth if they are that bad giving you 20% part. trust me girls will notice i
@imperiallion Sorry, but I don't completely agree. "You need to brush your damn teeth"? LOL, that doesn't make bad breath stay away the whole day. And what the hell is this "tongue scraper" thing? I never heard of it. Where do you get it? Even then, I still don't believe that gets rid of bad breath for more than a few hours. I'm just saying it doesn't do so forever, which is why they say you should do it everyday and stuff...
wow your so funny... I like your video on flossing an brushing thanks for helping me keep my pearly whites beautiful. I cant find your website though.
hy..is it possible to go too much under the gum and thus hurt the gum? i dont know if im going too much under or if i should go more than i do now... the way im going now it doesnt hurt... but can it not hurt and still be dangerous?....
no.. its not possible to go "too deep" as you will reach the junctional epithelium at the bottom of the pocket (between your tooth and gum). Its best that you see a dental hygienist to clean under your gums though as they will be able to better access the area with instruments designed for this purpose.
ive always hated flossing, n i always brush too hard cuz i always wanna make sure theres no dirt left. n i havent changed my brush for years. (literally) so yeah i learned a lot from this vid. just went to the dentist today actually. wht a coincidence!

@conqueringiants Fluoride is put in toothpaste as it is good for your teeth. It's in tap water too.

@curlybob64 Which is why people are not suffering from fluorosis by the age of eight now. Only small amounts are good for your teeth.
