i've been getting the procrit shot in my arm, and i can't do it myself because it's the most painful shot i've ever had, hands down. i would be more willing to give myself an IV, frankly. i don't know if aranesp is different (i know that procrit is notoriously very thick which makes it painful/makes it sting a lot, feels like you're being stabbed/burned), but do you think doing it in the stomach is less painful than the arm? i am mortified of the procrit shot :(

Thanks very much, Angie, for doing this video. My Mum has recently been told she needs this injection (Aranesp). She was extremely nervous about doing this herself and we considered having a nurse come in, but after watching your video, she felt more confident about doing it. She's been doing this for a few weeks now, and is an old pro! You are doing a great service for many people who are in the same situation!
