They tested their IQs and then saw where they ended up on the political spectrum (among a few other things) as adults. The studies showed that those with "very liberal" political beliefs had a higher IQ than those who claimed "very conservative" politics. Less religious and more monogamous also correlated with higher IQs.

Yes, I am seriously pointing out that study. It's true and has been true for a long time. It's not the only study of it's kind, it's just the most recent. And the score averages were more like 95 and 105, not 150 and 180. There are a lot of factors that contribute to being able to run an entire economic system, and one's level of intelligence is (of course) a primary factor. Also, a standardized test is used to gauge IQ. There are problems with those, as well. Ask anyone who speaks ESL, for one.

They tested their IQs and then saw where they ended up on the political spectrum (among a few other things) as adults. The studies showed that those with "very liberal" political beliefs had a higher IQ than those who claimed "very conservative" politics. Less religious and more monogamous also correlated with higher IQs.

Yes, I am seriously pointing out that study. It's true and has been true for a long time. It's not the only study of it's kind, it's just the most recent. And the score averages were more like 95 and 105, not 150 and 180. There are a lot of factors that contribute to being able to run an entire economic system, and one's level of intelligence is (of course) a primary factor. Also, a standardized test is used to gauge IQ. There are problems with those, as well. Ask anyone who speaks ESL, for one.

But I'd be the first to point out that the areas of study used to determine an intelligence quotient include science and principals used in engineering (math and physics). MrFloppyPuppy: What reasons have they given for supporting Brown? I haven't seen any yet. Obama's health care plan probably shouldn't be supported at this point. He and the Dems were too bipartisan in forming it. We should have gone for single payer. It would be the easiest, CHEAPEST, healthiest plan for America. But the GOP is against all citizens having health coverage. You folks only care about eggs, embryos, and fetuses... not about PEOPLE. It's disgusting.

If you don't believe enhanced interrogation works then read "courting disaster" by Marc Thiessen. Don't claim to know anything about terror trials, or "torture" or gitmo until you read that book, OR until you have substantial evidence that enhanced interrogation DOESN'T work.

he was not mainly elected for what he himself can accomplish, but for what that election represented. It was a major blow on the far left who thought they had the country in the palm of their hands. That's why their calling him the people's seat. When was the last time a senator's election made such national headlines. Obama made headlines when he was elected into the senate, but Brown's election has over shadowed that. You'd think we've elected a new president. Hurray for the center right!

The difference is that some push legislation through the powers of the constitution and others try to warp or just bluntly ignore it to push their agenda.

He will put pressure on the administration to use enhanced interrogation, the same enhanced interrogation that stopped numerous attacks on the u.s. and abroad.and to give these war criminals military tribunals.
