hey um are billabog bugs natural (harvested from a pond) or made in a lab

Billabong Bugs are a real, natural, not man made, cosmopolitan "existing world wide" (but different species existing in different countries and continents) crustacean known as "Triops".

However our Triops are Lab grown via a process called "aquaculture". This is good for the environment because non are harvested from the wild.

@littleaussieproducts I'm thinking of starting a tank with some clam shrimp, triops, and fairy shrimp. Are they compatible, and will they hatch in an established tank? The reason why I ask about the established tank is that I wish to grow certain types of algae like nostoc and your jelly algae, and I want them to be growing well in the tank before introducing the animals.

Clam Shrimp. They are like a cross between a sea monkey and a Triops (Billabong Bugs) These Clams are the first of a whole range of Mars themed stuff that we would like to do in the future.

These little critter's are are happy at room temperature . Any where from about 18 C to 30 C

Aqua Aliens is just a branding name for Vernal Clam Shrimps (like Sea Monkey is to brine shrimp). If you search around, there are many sellers offering clam shrimp eggs on ebay.

A little bit of suspension of disbelief is kind of fun dont you think. Why not Ok. Yeah! Their from Mars! :) Ive still got the meteorites which I collected myself on the other side of black stump crater and scraped a few shavings into a jar of water to be stuned by what later came to life with in hours. This is our latest kit that will be released shortly, but we are selling the beta version now!

It works exactly like Sea Monkeys. The kit has water conditioner, eggs and growth food, plus the Martian soil and the "meteorites" you see in the film.

Still haven't decided on what to call them yet. Need to decide on wether to call them "Aqua-Aliens" or "Magic Martians" ha ha - would love to hear everyone's ideas on the better of the two names.
