I think my concern is how much longer will our young suffer and die for us , suffer supposidly. for us? good question.!!!!!!!! The why has not been explained well.
Most of the concerns stated in this clip are directly related to our poorly run government. However, things will get better as we have more obama, but the shit smell from George Bush, christians, and politicians are what make our world miserable.
serbobitch has no idea what he's talking about. the reason h1n1 is such a problem is because it's a new strain o flu that we have/had no way of treating
scum that have imploded our economy, are deliberately destroying our nation & who are relentlessly herding us into a totalitarian, collectivist tyranny that would make Hitler, Stalin & Mao blush.
Lol @ the Serbian dud who thinks his swine flu was treated with antibiotics. Flu is a virus, and antibiotics are only effective in the treatment of bacterial diseases...
i don't know y r u admiring that Serbian guy.. erm, i'm from Croatia and we had a war with them.. guess u ppl don't know Yugoslavian history, if u do, u would know that things he said about 3 wars doesn't make any sence..
I know you try do accesses as wide range of views as possible and that is understood and acceptable. You are ( if I am not miserably mistaken) a self employed person. Which makes you at list in my eyes one wonderful and courageous person. What bothers me is your predictability, and your unreasonable ( and in my eyes un truthful ) attempt to be impartial. the bottom line is you should fucking stop pretending of not playing the game wail playing it.
I wish I had enough money to buy a house so that my girlfriend and I could get married. I know on some of these other videos I have said I thought you was really pretty but I really do love my girlfriend with all my heart. Do you know of a way to buy a house without going into debt?
murphymagick. Absolutely correct. People living now have not gone through hard times. They live in a pampered existence. I still fear an all out nuclear exchange. Even though Americans are completely safe, as you have Star Wars, the rest of us are not. I do fear a global pandemic also, as these tend to kill a lot of people, more so than wars even.
I agree with the dude in his mid-twenties. I'm about to be 25 and although I'm following the path I've chosen dating back from 9 years ago it scares the hell out of me because A) the economy sucks and B) I have no financial backing of ANY kind. I could go back to school and become an English teacher but like I said, the economy sucks and teachers will forever make squat for such an important job. But so do writers, and that's what I'm pursuing :/
As times become more stressful, people tend to try to look out for #1. By keeping their own ducks in order, they can keep a level head when something goes astray in the outer world.
Since I like this roof over my head,I am more concerned with the local economy, then, the global economy. I work,I have funds for food and shelter. The current style of terror war is not likely to affect me in the near future. But,of course,it could. Therefore national security is not a top concern.
No offense The Resident but about that last part, Duh! Everyone always concerns themselves on what matters to them, whether it's a selfish reason or not. Good video.
There is a bigger market for scifi than for real science so how do we know that what we hear is the truth and not just a con job? The decisions we make are more likely to be better if they are based on fact rather than fiction. We need to entertain some doubt in order to protect ourselves from folly.
4 & 5 are bullshit and #1 is mainly due to bad hygenics and a failed vaccination program by the US creating a superstrain that killed of millions. Ofcourse it was named after something else just like the swine flu is today. It came from america and it got named the mexican flue...same with the spanish flue. American made, Others blamed.
Brutus. The 1918 pandemic caused 100 million deaths, and the population was a lot less then. Earthquakes are not bullshit. The US has not had a big one - yet. Europe did. The Lisbon earthquake wiped out the whole city. The swine flu is a minor event - nothing like the 1918 pandemic. People are relaxed today, as life is very easy, with no real concerns. People in Germany in WW2 had to face racism, typhus and firestorms. They did not worry about things like climate change and health care.
wht do you expect people to do? sit on the edge of their seats waiting for an earthquake to hit?
Obviously peoples concerns generally revolve around their experiences and what they see and meet on a day to day basis. Asteroids and smallpox clearly aren't a visible threat on the horizon so no one is worried about them.
Earthquakes and natural disasters happen all the time, no real reason to be afraid of them. Since they are a current consistent factor and it is NOT like the end times is causing this...there is no frickin end times.
And while I agree the 1918 epidemic was a real epidemic. I am kind of sick and tired of having EVERY outbreak being mediahyped to the same level as if it were a 1918 outbreak.
In a political sense, I'm mostly concerned that we won't learn from the past--that we will treat the symptoms rather than disease, leading to worse and worse economic failures and more and more immoral wars.
In a conventional sense, I'm most concerned that we will never solve the energy crisis, and if we do, it will be an expensive solution that limits our total energy consumption & quality of life(I want flying cars, darn it!)
In a philosophical sense, I'm concerned that I will never die.
Um...didn't Nikola Tesla solve the "energy problem" already? The problem isn't solving, the problem is exposing the powers that want to keep it hidden. This isn't a "conspiracy THEORY", it's conspiracy FACT. All of our world problems are easily fixable/avoidable. The powers that cause them do a good job making us think otherwise though. Anyways, you were right about how we treat the symptoms rather than the disease.
Tesla did experiments in wireless energy transmission that led to the idea that you could bounce RF waves off of the ionosphere and get energy out of it. I don't know of any experiments that proved this. The fact that research into this is so limited is the only real conspiracy I see surrounding Tesla's work, but I'm well aware of the broader conspiracy taking place. But if you're talking about the Pierce-Arrow cars, I'm almost certain that story isn't true.

I like what Lori said at the end. I realize my biggest concerns are those threatening to destroy the future of mankind and life on Earth in general - GMOs and pollution. Politics and bad medicine is largely what will determine if we can moderate ourselves before it's too late. Ultimately it's a spiritual question - what do you love?
