Don't rise to them sunshine. Nice to see someone using the radio and actually bloody chatting about everyday things and not boring people to death. I think the northern accents upsets some as well. I'm a geordie and also like to waffle. Hold the moral high ground fella. Keep up the good work!

It is people like you that give amateurs a bad name. The influx of ex-cb'ers into the hobby has probably saved it. 2E0HTS produced a few "overs" not sure what was poor with his operating procedure - perhaps he didn't give a 5&9 report and QRZ? - is it the 2E prefix which make you make a fool of yourself?

great video simon. i have looked at dave's youtube channel, like the icom. he has a nice set up. but your's takes some beating. my swl set up is a blip compaired to your ham station. i have just subscribed to dave's channel
