I might be wrong here on high kicking. but taekwondo.uses a lot of kicks. but you look at the history of high kick there were designed to kick men off there horse's.I'm no expert here but I would never want to do a high kick leave you to open.

Read the comments about facing the legal system, do all you can to win, etc. All good points really. Let the person do what they think is best. Me, I don't know what is best. I don't know what the person's intention is or if they have weapons that show up during the fight. So, if I am doing all I can to avoid trouble and can't, then I see it as I am in a fight for my life, and will take measures to protect myself. Crooks are not fair and neither am I when protecting myself and family.

I went to a Muay Thai fight recently and watched a guy 360kick the other in the face. Mouthguard flew into the audience, knocked him out cold. The difference though is that he had probably been calculating it and following the opponents movements through the first round.

@domacam1 I agree, go for broke and use anything and everything to get an SOB off of you. Pussy fighting is getting your ass beat, because you held back or hitting women. Fight like you are fighting for your life, oxygen, love ones and etc. I avoid fights at all cost, I hate it and know it is very seriously because you have to go for broke. Avoid a fight when you can, but go for broke if you are forced to defend yourself. Make the predators think twice about f-ing with you.
