I served with Echo 2/7 1st PLT 1ST SQD and got out this past June of 07 and wanted to say thanks for the video, its good to see that people care and remember what happened and that they were not forgotten. I new a few of the guys and went to SOI with one of them. Anyway for the futur Marines of 2/7 may GOD be with you when you deploy again and never forget that there a true Americans here that care for what your still doing there.
this is for 13310313, for your knowning yes there was a cover up at the begining and they told the parents a bull shit story until a Marine from fox wrote home and called home to tell his mom the real story, the news ever was told a different story then was reality. You might have been there and thats fine but know your facts.
While this is an honorable tribute to brave men, your comments prove you have no idea what you're talking about. I was there and wounded in that explosion. There was no cover-up, and your comments dishonor those Marines. For sandsurfer, Andy was one of those Marines.
