  • The oil-gas-coal corporations, through their climate-change deniers such as Glenn Beck and Alex Jones and Dayversion, are highly involved in promoting the child-slave-sex trade in countries such as Bangladesh and Pakistan. The deniers often fund the kidnapping of girls as young as 5 years old from former Soviet Union countries, to be sold in the black market in Asia countries.

  • BRAVO! BRILLIANT!

  • "Corporate giants, many of whom are directly tied in with big oil, and central banks who, far from bankrolling climate change skeptics, are directly invested in the scam of human-induced global warming.

Accusations leveled against global warming skeptics is that they are on the payroll of transnational oil companies, when in fact the opposite is true, oil companies are amongst the biggest promoters of climate change propaganda, emphasized recently by Exxon Mobil's call for a global carbon tax."

  • it's funny how US car companies are going bankrupt because of non-fuel efficient cars, it seems lika a manipulation to bring down america. another thing is that we DO NOT need oil! there are more efficient fuel resources like the sun! But you guys know why that will never happen? because companies cannot limit you on the sun and make a profit.... people need to wake up and look at the big picture

  • I am not trying to start an argument here but american car companies are going bankrupt because they make cars that are more expensive and not nearly as good as some other companies do (like Japanese etc.).

I didn't understand this until I saw a british TV show testing an american made car and showing just why american cars suck: The whole inside of the car was badly assembled, with gaps between junctions of the plastic parts of the console, motor parts that didn't fit together correctly etc...

  • Oh dear, if you're going to believe a lie then believe a bloody big one. Look behind the surface and one by one the sheep will become goats.

  • The oil companies are the reason the US its addicted to gasoline, they are the reason all the American car companies are broke, because they stop the car companies from from making gas efficient cars making people to buy Asian and European cars that didn't waste as much gas. They are the reason there is so much pollution and now they want to fix it.

  • The reason people are 'addicted' to gasoline (very tabloid buzzword usage there as well) is there is no alternative we are allowed to use. You try finding an alternative.

  • Call it global warming. You people sound like Creationists that re-define Creationism to try to better spread the propaganda.

  • The two terms are not mutually exclusive, global warming describes the process by which the earth is getting warmer overall... whereas climate change refers to the effects of the overall warming, which could very well include another ice age.

  • please get this on TV !!!! everywhere!

  • Even if climate change is a "hoax" we still need to get these toxic emissions down that are hurting humans and their environment. Also we need to get rid of non-renewable energy sources and become energy independent. So there is no reason not to want to move to newer cleaner fuels and preserve our planet!

  • Exxon is a scum of a company, lobbying hard to prevent pollution reduction efforts, then airing 'green' ads to better its image.

    Spineless scumbags

  • When I consider the oil companies role in preventing the Panasonic battery once used in RAV4EV from being used further anywhere in the world, I feel totally committed to supporting cap and trade systems, green jobs, and safe renewable energy.

  • I totally was going to do one of these myself. I'm glad someone else beat me too it.

  • climate change? i thought it was global warming>>>or is it too cold for warming?

    this is a scam!!!

we need nuclear energy not solar and turbines!

  • Actually there are many people talking about suppressed technology that has existed for many decades that is essentially "free" energy. This technology has been used in "black op" projects for a long time now and some are pressing for it's release to the general public. Energy independence is around the corner if only our so-called leaders will allow us to have it. one of many videos on issue: watch?v=hkgyY47duCM

  • another video interview on the "free" energy issue, interview with Brian O'Leary: watch?v=c3cBOq5-nZw

There is much more out there (plus many stories of energy inventors being threatened and having their inventions taken from them) if you look.

"Ignorance and apathy are the two most dangerous diseases of our time, and very difficult to cure." - cagrin

  • And why the f- would nuclear be better than free solar or wind power you fool?? Do you even realize that everyone backed off nuclear plans because it now costs $10 billion + for a single nuke power plant? DO you even understand that nuclear fuel has to be imported? Can you even grasp that the fuel's price has multiplied by 8 over the last 4 years? What don't you get about it? Let's hear your argument against solar / wind power, is it that it kills birds? F-ing imbecile

  • It could be better but the main point it's real and we should care! Nice job, i hope you can get this ad on the air.

  • brilliant

  • Big oil is big war is big food is all the same few owners at the top of the pyramid scheme you call a life. Staring at the tell lie vision in what you call the living room but it's actually the brainwashing room. You think you're thinking but all you do is react.

Save the planet, kill the humans is the new age mantra, pretty soon you'll all be singing it as you march to your doom, damn sheep

  • 99% correct (i'm still hoping enough of the "sheep" wake up in time)

  • Its amazing that Colin Oyal is a ceo of AVAAZ but google his name you won't find him on the database. :D

    anybody got the same problem?

  • "Coal and Oil". Its a satire, doofus.

  • I know that raising awareness is mega important, let's just say I'm playing devils advocate... Have any of you looked at the oil companies lately? BP used to stand for British Petroleum ~ It now stands for beyond petroleum, open your eyes and your mind... Do some investigation of your own, see where it takes you. I know we do not have a sustainable future the way we are going; I hope the worlds greater population does, too few don't realise whats at risk...

  • It stands for exactly what this ad calls attention to ... trying to have it both ways, doing research and investment in renewable energy to cover their ass in case serious reform comes through, while fighting to be allowed to continue dumping every growing amounts of CO2 into the atmosphere.

  • While i agree we have the technology to replace fossil fuel based energy sources and so should stop polluting the air, the "Global Warming" based on CO2 myth is propaganda put forth by the "elite" so they can establish a new tax (on what you breath out) Taxing CO2 is a justification for their eugenics/population reduction plans and they had this planned many decades ago. Check out the "Georgia Guidestones" if you're not familiar with this.

  • What do you think "one child" policies are?

"During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act." - George Orwell

...so you would appear to be ignorant, but i'm quite used to the responses i get from my posts. Btw, the "Ad" borders on useless propaganda which is why i felt the need to comment in the first place, but you're welcome for the comments.

  • I'm getting really sick of hearing people blame 'elitists'. Aren't you happy someone highly educated is running the country? Would you prefer that some under-educated, fanatic fool like Palin was running it? Would that give you a warm feeling?? Global Warming isn't make up by 'elitists who want to tax the air we breathe' lol, it's been determined by the worlds top scientific community. Or do you think science is devil? Why the hell do u think O'Reilly's opinion has more value than scientists??

  • You are naive, but still young so it's forgivable. Obama was selected by the 'elitists' to win, but whether Obama or Palin had won it would have made little difference as they both would have been controlled by their handlers (or likely assassinated like JFK).

re: Global Warming, watch?v=2yACE9rYy84 and watch?v=fr5O1HsTVgA

When the goal of the 'elite' of the world is to reduce the population by 90%, yes i have a problem with that, and so should you. O'Reilly is a tool and/or an ignorant fool.

  • Hilarious. The ExxonMobil stand-in looks like one of those guys from the Cialis ads. We really need to get the word out about this so people dont fall for the oil companies greenwashing, and their trolls leaving pro-oil comments here on YouTube. Since the oil companies have an army of PR agents doing just that.

  • NIce - too bad they did not make their spoof a little more believable. The let the cat out of the bag too soon.

  • What a load of unsubstantiated bollocks. All these people pontificating about how awful the oil industry is, meanwhile they're sat on their plastic chair in front of their plastic computer using electricity generated from fossil fuels. I wonder how many people who think that anthropogenic climate change is a reality have the strength of conviction to ditch their wordly goods, and go live in a Tipi?

    NONE OF THEM.

  • If one in a million took the challenge to give up these worldly goods, I doubt they would last one month living that way. Fact is we are consumers by nature and we will do so to our own peril. Nothing will stop that (maybe a global flood where some dude will be appointed to build an ark). I don't have the answers but if that is the spoof ad that AVAAS needs the $200,000 in sponsors to run I would suggest better use the money to improve the ad!

It is weak!! I was not swayed by it.

  • You are right, Dingaling770, its a bit weak - but, I rather donate 10€ than do nothing at all, if that little money is all I can do right now.

So it need less than 20.000 people who do the same to have some counterweight against oil-lobbyied adds.

  • 'My Jet!'

    Laugh out loud!

  • Excellent! Donated and put on Facebook! Avaaz is brilliant!

  • Cough up you lot or it'll be more than a bit of cash you'll be coughing up!

  • Donated :) an i agree with 42utuber42, join the Zeitgeist Movement, Avaaz should get in touch with them!

  • Nice ad...Avaaz rocks....feels like your voice actually makes a difference

  • The Zeitgeist Movement! The Venus Project! Help save the environment and yourself! thezeitgeistmovement(do.t)com

  • SIGH, sounds like you dont have a clue tbh. These movies (more than one, you *have* seen the second one right?) were made by a man (not a teenager) and make more sense than anything i've seen in years. Sounds to me like someone was a little annoyed by the religious parts in the first film an let that taint their opinion of everything else. I recommend you watch Addendum. Oh, and i'm not an American. This is all besides the point tho, excellent ad, go Avaaz!

  • HA! He is a christian. Im sure hes all read up and educated, ON THE BIBLE. how did i guess!

  • maybe because the truth on the first part of that movie meant more to me, so I investigated, while others just believed what they saw, without checking to see if it is true.

  • Plenty ppl did their own investigating. Acharya S is the one you should be researching if you are so concerned about the 1st part of the 1st film. Not the director of the film. Simply stating outright nonsense like 'the director is a teenager', shows a remarkably blinkered view of the whole thing. I understand that as a religious person it affected you, but don't get hung up on it. Turn your investigative skills to the other parts, and the other movie for that matter, they are far more important

  • I love his look at 0:32
