@mutageno lol. I've just read a book by this guy. How's that for a coincidence! Self-realisation. So what's it all about? Just be true to who you are. Never mind about the rest of the world. Being true to yourself means deciding on the right path for you and then staying on it in spite of everything the world throws at you. You may only live another five years but you'll have lived in light of The Truth.
oops, was searching how to answer privately, but don't now how. 'has seeking come to an end for me?' Yes, maybe you can say so. That i got cured from the seeking virus. God felt pity with me. i also can't serve two lords anymore. My heart complains whenever i still try. Is this Grace? Am i not fallen from Grace any more? Who knows. Am i enlightened? Definitely not. There is no 'me' no 'i' that can become enlightened. Mayb understanding that is enlightenment... LOL
whatever you might think the answer is, it is not the answer... :-). because the 'thinking mind' can never grasp what life is all about. The human thinking mind is like a dog chasing his tail but with one difference: the dog is having fun, the human being gets sometimes frustrated and angry! Spiritual seekers in general are miserable beings... LOL
giving you that answer means you're teacher is a real sage :-) What's his name? Unfortunately, one does not choose to become a seeker. Bad luck (karma) for those who's destiny it is to start seeking. God started the seeking and he is the one who will stop it. It's not the seeker who stops seeking whenever stopping seeking should happen. :-)
His name is A. Ramana from AHAM in North Carolina as well as Tiruvannamalai during the winter months. I heard it, but I didn't get it and also discovered that there is very little difference between seeking and avoiding.
found his website. looks good. When i'm home from work i might listen to him. Not possible now. I have been in Tirivanamalai for some time. Visiting Karl Renz and Mooiji. And off course walking around and on that bloody mountain. :-)
Peoplw want happiness, you can call it heaven like the christians or enlighntment/one with God. You are already free, you'll wake up from the dream of limitation after you die, but you can also wake up now while living, like Ramesh
Oh boy! He's got his guru rags on: LET THE SHOW BEGIN! LOL!!!

@Bonimacx Look pal. Nisargadatta called them 'half baked guru's'. Tony Parson is very honest. He says he's retired and needs the money.

Just wake up. Really, it's as difficult as you choose to make it. Boredom helps. Boredom is a great guide.

Seems a bit harsh not to have the remainder of Ramesh's answer - a bit cruel...
So....

thanks - I was with a teacher who often repeated 'seeking is suffering'. He was right.
