Oh just had my hair done today (in Toni & Guy - groan) it really did feel like a chore, plus I don't even love the result... and it wasn't cheap. I might check this out next time - but, I get my hair done so regularly that I think it may break the bank! Wish my hair was long enough to do the ombre as that seems more low-maintenance than h/l. Great review xxxx

Hi :-) I am so happy to hear that you found a hair salon you are happy with. It is so hard these days, isn't it? As you said in the video... Sometimes I feel the same way... Just to turn the chairs over... A lot of hairstylists charge a lot of money, so you should feel pampered! I have very good hairstylist back home in Slovakia, and I always say to her, if she would have her salon in London, she would be a millionaire! She is amazing. Big hugs, Hana xxx

@MissHanaG I know, London (UK) is so so so expensive. I'm lucky I only go a few times a year. I would go for a professional manicure every week but its not as cheap here as it is in the US and Asia - so I tend mainly to do it myself but hair I do have to get someone else to do it - I'm useless at styling! Your hair looks lovely with your heightened pony...xxx

You have such gorgeous hair! I wish I could indulge myself in salon hair dying... I am the queen of box dyes! I would love my hairdresser to give me better handy tips and advice regarding styles (also low maintenance with my hair :P) Also what's up with the dislikes? 4 people work at Toni & Guy! xxx

@denizandmakeup I need to leave it to the professionals! I can just about make myself look decent with makeup and if I make a mistake the remover comes out but with hair dye - I'm too scared!

I saw your comment on my blog so came right over to see your video. I am so pleased they have another fan. I have gone to Lesley for about 8 years (when she was at Windle and now here) and was so pleased to hear that she had her own salon. Love the Shu products and the unpretentious service. :)

i know exactly what you mean about chain hair salons. I have exactly the same experience and it just leaves me frustrated as i end up thinking "oh god i need a cut" and it just seems like a chore rather than a nice experience. My search goes on for a salon like yours in manchester! Thanks for sharing ur experience x
