I heard that those symbols on the strings that you have to break are actually japanese (or chinese im not sure :P) blessings as if somebody tied him down and kept him consealed and by breaking the strings you have freed him.

I really love the kind of bosses nintendo make in which you first belive that you defeated them, but then they make a comeback. Great examples of such bosses are Stallord from Zelda:TP and Bouldergeist from Mario Galaxy!

TPs bosses were great IMO. What i think would be Stellar is if Nindtendo and the Creators of SHADOW OF THE COLOSSUS got together and created another Zelda game or a game of its own make to create a Game with Epic Gameplay/Story/and Boss fights. Colossus's bosses werent Extremely difficult but they proved to be a chalenge and usually had to be attempted 2-3 times for the average gamer. TP (and any zelda game) lacked the Hard bosses that Killed you at least 1 befor eyou defeated them.

I actively give Stallord an award for being my favorite boss in the game XD He was fun to beat.

And yes, he has 3 hearts. Looks to me like he's taking the Minimalist Challenge...go through the game with 3 hearts. That's just the beginning of the challenge, though XD

The hardest, I believe, is going through the Cave of Ordeals with 3 hearts, Ordon sword, no shield, empty bottles, 1 bomb bag, and no quiver/bomb bag upgrades. Zora armor is optional (weak to fire/ice).

I'd reward the Stallord boss with a "most annoying boss" award because of the zombie/skeleton thingys that blocks the bottem of its spine.

Also when i lifted the thing i thought he was dead, but then i saw his head float and i was like O_o got magic powers?!

Anyway, for people who dont know, here are the boss locations:

Spirit with sword = mini-boss, sand temple

Skeleton with Zank = Main boss, sand temple

Armoured guy with spike ball on chain = mini-boss, snowpeak Ruins.

Stallord was the most annoying bosses I fought in any Zelda game (because of the little 'bodyguards' he summons to protect himself), the second most annoying being Bongo Bongo from Ocarina of Time because you are on a giant drum (the fight was kinda fun though).
