This was a truly masterpieceful anime. Consider this--Yamazaki and Satou are obsessed with the galges because they provide an escape from their lives; in the games cute girls with pure intentions like you for no reason, and while one plays them he undergoes a willing suspension of belief in order to answer the question: "Why would SHE like someone like ME?" The purpose of the anime, at least in my mind, was to answer this question.

I felt no big connection to the main character whatsoever (I'm an athlete), but this anime was very funny and clearly showed the dark side of Japanese culture. I was talking about the ENDING, as in the ending of the series. Not ending as in opening and ending. The ending of this series sucked really hard. They ruined everyting they built. I didn't like the Mouse Road arc that much either. The beginning was original and phenomenal.

Naruto and Bleach suck, not because of the story or whatever. They just didn't care about the most crucial stuff like editing, drawing (really they mess it up a lot).

Gonzo fails when they have no money in the middle of the season or towards the end. I don't know why they don't stay consistent but they don't. i LOVE this show, I really do but there is too much wrong with it to give it this great review. : \ Unfortunate but true.
