  • Still no eruption

  • Johnny Depp? :O

  • it will probably not happen in our lifetime, but it will happen, its not superstition, its fact.

  • This dudes probably hiding out with the same guy that failed at predicted the end of the world 2 times in one year.

  • 2011 still nothing... I think its ok bro hahahahaha

  • This may be a stupid comment, but is there any people out their trying to stop the volcano from erupting?

I mean if the Yellowstone's volcano erupting is as bad as they're saying we should be funding to try and solve this problem.

  • @Areallykelwguy come again????? Are you seriously suggesting we try and fight Mother Nature??? That'll come back and haunt you, you will regret trying that! Mother Nature will never let us win, She will retaliate! Yellowstone will erupt one day, no one will be able to stop that, let's just hope FEMA will be prepared for that, and won't deny the possibility if USGS does start to warn for a supereruption, like governments have the tendency to do!

  • @Areallykelwguy "Solve this problem"?.. you mean find a way to either vent off or stop all together..a potential force MANY Thousands of times Greater than the "puny" (in comparison) Atomic bombs we dropped on Hiroshima & Nagasaki ? Personally, I think the planet is doing a pretty decent job of venting its internal pressures by itself & in the way it was created to. Just think, what would result IF..it couldn't release those pressures in the way it does..the "Big Bang" 4 Real !

  • ha ha I like this guy:)

  • We were all supposed to die on Y2K too.

  • geezzz He needs to apply with the other bad actors on foxnews

  • When Mt. St. Helen's blew it made lakes and Mts overnight. what if it is all a few thousand years old tops? The main question is who is spreading the millions of years lie and why? If the rocks were soaked in salt water during a world wide flood- the time scale goes from thousands to millions. The Smithsonian and ALL colleges know this- and blacklist anyone who brings up creation science.

  • @drumheadcircle That's because creation science isn't science, it's a bunch of uninspired myths.

Normally, a hypothesis is made, and tested over and over and refined.

Creation "scientists" make assumptions based on myths which are thousands of years old, and then pay attention only to "evidence" (or other assumptions) which reinforce their beliefs, everything else is tossed aside.

  • @Styxhexenhammer666 When it comes to Science..of the two, the Evolutionary side is the LEAST supported by Real Evidence. You (re:everyone at large) NEVER hear in the news or science classrooms around the world, of the Thousands (globally) of scientists who have ABANDONED Evolutionary Science in favor of the Creation, Because the Facts strongly support Creationism. Notice also, evolutionists are Predominantly Atheists..and That, IS a Fact. STUDY both sides Openly, as I did.

  • @TurbinePower69 I did study both sides openly. I was a christian most of my life!

Unfortunately there is absolutely no actual evidence of a creation theory (any of them) being true. There is overwhelming scientific evidence for evolution.

Christians always say "thousands of scientists are abandoning evolutionary science" yet they never actually quote a source based statistic for it, they just make the claim as though claiming it made it true. Mere hearsay.

  • @Styxhexenhammer666 You know why there is no evidence of scientists abandoning evolutionary science? They are to fuckin embarrassed to publicly admit that they believed in total bullshit. It's full of contradictions, errors, flawed ideals, "facts", and most of all dating methods. If homo sapiens have been around for 130,000 years or so, why haven't we evolved into something more advanced? Why haven't the "remaining primates" evolved into humans or human variants, b/c it's BS!

  • @UGLandrum There's no evidence for it because it is not true.

We have indeed continued to evolve over time. (Hence why people are being born without wisdom teeth at times.) Have you ever heard of the homo sapiens sapiens description? Homo Sapiens in modern times are far different from their shorter, obviously less cognitively advanced progenitors.

Remaining primates share a common ancestor- they evolved from forms which did not share the genetic trait giving advanced cognition.

  • @Styxhexenhammer666 Also there is many cultures that have recorded in their history events that directly coincide with the Bible, your studies obviously were based on evidences and fallacies alone. Broaden your research, in fact the ancient Chinese recorded evidence of a great flood, they are not the only ones. Sorry but TurbinePower69 is right, and Evolution is all made up, remember it started with one man who on his death bed admitted he lost faith in his own theory.

  • @UGLandrum Also hearsay. Christians often claim such a thing but they never actually back that claim up with solid, sourced evidence. Sort of like when catholics try to convince me science has studied and cannot explain incorruptible bodies of saints, when no such studies ever took place.

As I said before, claims are merely claims until they are based in solid, publicly reviewable evidence.

  • @UGLandrum Keep in mind, the hindus and jews and muslims also all claim various miracles, "scientific evidence" of their beliefs, and everything else you, as a christian, are claiming. The ONE common theme to all of these groups is that they rely on the age old method of trying to claim something as true, without basing it on actual evidence.

That's like me claiming an invisible unicorn created the world in the 1960s, and then not giving evidence to support it.

  • I heard "obsidian" and though "LET'S GO TO THE NETHER GUISE!"

  • too must sticky icky icky :P

  • faggot lol

  • @ 2:23 "and when it went off, it ended all the dinosaurs and life as we know it some 500 million years ago"

Ok, this guy has no clue what he's talking about. Dinosaurs weren't even AROUND 500 million years ago. Those guys died 65 million years ago. BIG difference! And the last yellowstone caldera eruption was 640,000 years ago. Get your timeline straight!

PS For a place where the ground is paper thin with scalding hot mud underneath, I wouldn't do all that pacing

  • Oh shut up.

  • Mad Scientist? I wonder what they were calling Noah before the flood, lol :)~ face it people, we're all on the friggin Titanic.........

  • @teceyS3 even titanic had survivors

  • @davidhaythornthwaite: While true, Yellowstone is just a little bit bigger size of ship :)) ~ as well as the fact that when it goes, it may also affect the Cascades, the New Madrid fault, San Andreas and possibly a few other faults and/or volcanos~ possibly causing some never before seen destruction in our country~ plus, most of the people that survived the sinking of the Titanic were the rich elite~ and everyone was traumatized by the event, even if they survived it personally.

  • And here we are in 2011 moron yet we're still alive . Seriously ? If it comes it comes if it doesnt it doesnt . LIve life until that day and even then pplwill still be around . It doesnt mean everyone's gonna instantly die . Last time checked it never said the world .

  • And here we are in 2011 moron yet we're still alive . Seriously ? If it comes it comes if it doesnt it doesnt .

  • I dont trust politicians . Hell I think theyre a bunch of corrupt, lying pieces of shit . But do I think theyre out to kill us ? No . Lolol . They may be crooked but theyre still human . So I doubt what ur saying is true .

  • I'm suggesting that excess seismic energy can be sublimated into to other energy forms, or matter. In this case, the magma can be reduced to water, gases and soluble minerals, over a prolonged period without catastrophe. Yes, perhaps Yellowstone was a meteor impact site, but perhaps not. With the moon added to earths' orbit, the volcanic history has been scant. Is this correct ?

  • So, the reason why the Moon is 1/4 the size of the earth may have to do with absorbing excess electromagnetic energy from the earth. This is why the supervolcano may not erupt, as the moon pulls the magma chambers from both directions. We are basically dealing with the passage of enormous electrical currents through quartz crystals. The aliens who built and put the moon in orbit around earth knew precisely how to control earths' volcanic tantrums. So, Yellowstone may not erupt.

  • The Deccan traps and Siberian traps poured forth flood basalts for millions of yrs. Possibly caused by meteor impact az well. Volcanos are like electric blast furnaces that depend on the Suns electromagnetic energy. Realistically, the uranium deposits under Yellowstone may contribute some heat as well. But we forget that the Moon shares electromagnetic energy with the Earth and may prevent catastrophic supervolcanos.

  • Comment removed

  • @confettibrains Why was your interesting comment removed? You are telling me a scientist knows the origin of the moon? No scientist has concise proof the moon is anything other than an alien spacecraft 'built' to stabilize the electromagnetic build-up in earths' crystalline crust. Try the book :' Who Built the Moon', by Christopher Knight. Don't lamb-baste me about science, I just made a YouTube comment. Most scientists get ostracized for telling the truth.

  • @confettibrains Then you can upgrade to Paul LaViolettes' books (a physicist) who even sugests that Millisecond Pulsars are artificial beacons used to shield solar systems from galactic core outbursts via. converting deadly gamma radiation into synchrotron radiation, or something like that. And pulsars serve as intergalactic beacons for spacecraft navigating the galaxy. Ok, tell me a physicist is a whacko too, and your really an omnipotent fellow. Yikes...!

  • I think I remember reading somewhere that Yellowstone was 40,000 years overdue for its next super eruption...don't worry it's not 2012 yet!!!

  • I couldn't think of a better place for this awesome creation than right here in the land of Sodom(America that is). Kiss your asses goodbye people

  • I would rather it didn't erupt to that magnitude any time soon, as I'm going there on holiday in June.

  • If yellowstone erupted during my lifetime, I will kill myself.

  • 1 sec of the video i know u are a noob that dont know eny thing! there is a mutch bigger vulcano in indonesia!! loser

  • 2:59 is where its at. Like a smooth talking player.

  • Que aburrido

  • Yeah Nothing bad will ever happen. Mt St. Helens eruption would never happen.

Katrina won't be that bad. There are no tsunamis that can affect us in our lifetimes.

Hurricane Andrew can't be destructive with a name like Andrew. I smoked but I never inhaled. I never had sex with Monica Lewinski. The fundamentals of our economy are sound. Yellowstone may erupt but not for a million years.

Looks like a great track record. How about we just keep watching WWE while eating fast food. Yay! -

  • earthquakes happen at Yellowstone daily. This is no more and no less than any of the many swarms seen.

  • @hydropropop you sounds so sure about this! where is your science behind this? scientist have proof its going to happen, its only a matter of time, earthquakes and what ever other activity that may disturb this giants sleep. people are so blind to see whats really happening to life on earth, do some research instead of making speculative comments.

  • @hydropropop Its actually overdue to blow, so don't be so sure.

  • hahahahaha

  • '' my speculation is... meteorites.... oh yeah! you heard me...''' (dramatic look at the camera) ...pfffff....ahahaha who is this joker seriously?.... the evidence is clear, and that will only be nature's work, we can't do anything about it. But why all the drama??? ahahahah who do you think you are? who do you think WE are??... thanks for the laughs dude! xD

  • @niktasor oh I got it!!! this is Keanu Reeve's video-test before he was famous... he always sucked xD

  • Do you know FEMA has bought 120,000 instant meals...saying 170,000 people are going to be killed from Texas to Florida to Ohio and Illinois from an earthquake on the New Madrid Fault?

  • There have been massive predictions that the human life ends December 21, 2012. Yellowstone ha the pottential to fulfill those predictions. I gotta get off the contenant.

If it's a strong eruption on where on earth is safe.

  • nice report. Unfortunately we haven`t as much informations on our awakening Eifel supervolcano in Germany, which also must have once covered a huge area. I just tried to find some of the rare material , as I wanted originally make a video to warn on HEAVIEST earthquakes on FEB 15 ff. after a highest sun activity was measured yesterday - FEB 14- 2011 with more than 85 sun spots and a solar flux at 110.Its a complex thing and do not remember ever so many volcanoes so active as these years.

  • That was 2009 when this video was taken. It's 2011 2/6/11 and things appear to be getting worse. Yellowstone was said to have taken "a deep breath". Normally, that's a sign of an eruption about to happen. Just a few days ago there was a 2.7 and 3.4 earthquake within hours of each other at Yellowstone. Earthquakes are known to trigger volcanos. This could be serious!

  • I read your description comments. I just would like to know where you got your information about Bush ordering a gag order on all USGS employees? Unless

you are one, then you would have first hand information. Thx.

  • @joshanator1 they dont have on i asked personly to the usgs workers and they sayd that they dont have one

  • Your very smart, thanks.

    God speed.

  • Thank you soooo much for posting this. Its interesting that this is something nobody is talking about, but should be of great concern.

  • There's no proof that the world will end in 2011 or 2012.

  • @smurfboywv There isn't any "real" proof that God ever existed either but a suprising number of people still believe in him. I think there is more tangible proof of our coming demise in 2012 or 13 than there is of an invisible man in the sky named God who is watching over all of us...

  • @vstarporno Without God none of us would exist. There also is no proof about the world ending so get over it.

  • worldwide populations would drop by 50% or more due to starvation from the ash blotting out the sun and causing an ice age event. The areas with the worst food shortages tend to be the areas of highest population, (think Asia and Africa).

  • dude, correct me if i'm wrong, but didn't the dinosaurs die out 65 million years ago...

  • Largest Volcano in history? ...are you familiar with Flood Basalts, ie the Siberian Traps, which caused a mass extinction event 250ma that killed 95% of life on earth? Are you familiar with the La Garita caldera, which ejected 5000km3 of ash, or the Lake Toba caldera, which ejected 2800km3 only 74000ya? Both of which are larger amounts than any eruption ever produced by the Yellowstone hotspot. And did I hear you right...you claim that there was a meteor impact 500million years ago...where?

  • Chris Sanders is one of Halliburton and Nabors top downhole experts in the Barnett Shale and the Williston Basin. I drilled for him for ten years at Sanders Drilling. Very nice caring and compassionate man. Hello Colonel! Reggie Bruce

  • Chris Sanders is one of Halliburton and Nabors top downhole experts in the Barnett Shale and the Williston Basin. I drilled for him for ten years at Sanders Drilling. Very nice caring and compassionate man. Hello Colonel! Reggie Bruce

  • see the funny thing is i got a stupid ass friend of mineto walk all over the place over all that shit hahaha informative but nothing new for me

  • Dinosaurs were extinct 500 million years ago? XD FAIL!

  • Still waiting....................

  • its 600 miles not 400

  • some other video i came across with proper scientists says that it erupts roughly once every 600000 years, and also stated the last eruption was 600000 years ago

  • Yellowstone is stinkin' awesome and the Tetons. Best summer job ever! I wish I could have stayed a little longer. There is nothing like living in the Yellowstone area for a couple months. Absolutely amazing place!

  • your an ldiot

  • were all gonna die

  • @Hurrican3AJ1

LMAO, he's definitely joking around or something. He doesn't sound serious. Dinosaurs died 65 million years ago, 500 million years ago was the middle of the Cambrian.

  • Sorry, but this guy sounds "mad scientist" or a big conspiracy theorist. He's too overdramatic and it's almost like he's trying to be dramatic. lol

  • @tall32guy finally some one who thinks the same was i do

  • @tall32guy It's not a secret that YS sits on a super volcano, though this guy does sound mad scientisty haha. However, one day, that thing is going to blow, and it will be felt around the world.

  • @mojojodon Um duh! LMBO!

  • @tall32guy Arent all people that preach the future concidered crazy? Yes. My guess is you'll be standing there going "NOWAY" and everyone else will be already gone. Goahead and move on in there they would love to have you. My opinion i think and fell something is coming but also i dont think any of us will escape it. If you think the end cant come in your lifetime. That just makes you plain dumb. Believe what you want i will believe what my gut feeling tell me. Have a nice life!

  • I live like 100 miles away from Yellowstone. Everyone here knows you can't worry about this... If it happens, then I guess it happens. It's not like we can stop it. And NO SHIT there are earthquakes! Good lord! ITS A VOLCANO. And don't you think if anyone was worried about it up here, we'd get our asses out? And yes, people ARE aware that it can blow up any day. But there's no reason moving away, this eruption will be so large, it can drop the temperature so low we could go into another ice age.

  • yellowstone awoke only 2 million years ago when it blew for the first time so it couldent of been the cause for the death of the dunosours

  • some BS

  • lol I love this, answers his own questions "Will they come again?"

"Oh yes, yes they will." lol Im keeping as updated as possible with you not much going on here but unreasonable weather patterns. Snow at christmas then no more till April

  • Wow...you do know that Yellowstone has had earthquakes way before people even knew about it.

What's the deal with the magnetic pole deal? Doesn't make any sense...

If the suns pole changed in 2001 and ours hasn't for thousands of years wouldn't something have happened already? It would be easier if I could show you rather than explaining it through text...

  • I think that the Yellowstone volcano has only been active for 20 million years. I don't think it could have ended the dinosaurs.

  • Anything happen recently ?

  • wow 1 yr old video Do you live in Europe yet?

  • yellowstone is going to blow soon. i agree with you on that. i am watching the earthquakes and there have been a lot recently, but i think that we have at least a few more months. dont evacuate because of my prediction, i am not a real scientistand am probably totaly wrong, but keep watching.

  • I do know it will blow one day and the activity says it could be any day. But I'm sure glad January 1st 2009 they didn't evacuate like you said. There would be some pissed off people..

  • nothing u can do to change what time has done and worse of all mankind good luck to all and hope that jesus forgives

  • @wizce hope he does?....don't you believe the bible? I thought the bible says he will forgive all who ask?

  • let it blow , im ready to go , how bought you. if you know Jesus you dont worry about it .

  • @deadmanwalkin4u ..couldn't have said it better myself...

  • think it will only blow when the apocalypse will come... so as christian we wont be there to witness xD (is it written that the earth will be destroy with fire this time... certainly God will use yellowstone in the process...)

  • it really does not matter. When Yellowstone goes, it's going to be good bye life on earth. =\

  • naah most wil survive, human population will of dropped, probs by over half by the time we start seing improvemnts, and that i think is a good thing. life has survive supervolcanos before, and there are others, i belive theres one in italy too, so thats me gone :D mah, itll be fine, if i die, i wont notice, if i dont, ..ill be happy. :)

  • this is pretty scary

  • Comment removed

  • Don't ask me how I know. May of 2010 will be interesting, to say the least. Survive we will!

  • @YellowstoneAlert its miner yees if that thing goes af or its getting ready to go af the earth quakes wil be mutch more severe then this this nis miner yees dont worry the only thing youl create is unnecessary panic check the site before you put this on

  • @88Meava88 ....Nothing really minor about a Super volcano. You're not really qualified to make that statement. What is your language....Dutch?

  • @SwingItLikeMoe yes im dutch you have a problem with it?

that the volcano is big i know that im not stupit

and you jump to conclusions to fast if a volcanologist says everything is okay and what the volcano is doing right now is normal meaby its smart to listen to them they work at yellowstone everyday you dont so dont creat panic over nothing ! bye yeeess

  • @88Meava88 I don't have a problem with your Dutch language, I just figured it out that's all. I'm not jumping to conclusions, I'm jumping to facts. Yellowstone is a Powder Keg ready to blow at any moment. We now absolutely nothing about a Super volcano! You, me, nor Scientist now nothing about this kind of thing. For that reason alone we should take it seriously and stop playing games. If I have cancer I want to know about it NOW. Don't tell me when I have only days or weeks to live.

  • @SwingItLikeMoe

no you are jumping to conclusions asked personly to the usgs i send a mail to them. and got something back to.

they sayd that what the volcano is doing is normal and its not about to blow. they do know sorry but its you that doenst know anything

if the volcano is about to blow like i sayd previously the quakes wil be more severe the ground wil lift like crasy i see neither he shup up about cancer !!!!

  • @88Meava88 The ground has risen 10 inches this year alone but I guess they didn't tell you about that, eh? Look, I'm ending this dialogue with you because you are taking this personal. Plus, I'm tired of trying to decipher your language. You have your opinions and I have mine. Good luck.

  • @SwingItLikeMoe they did and you are not? and if you wanna know its stopped the ground doenst rise anymore

    bye

  • @YellowstoneAlert

    Revelations: Chapter 6 - verses 12 to 17

  • So how come we should take this story any more seriously this year, than we did last year?

  • Because last year the swarm lasted about 7 days. Today makes the 17th day of this swarm with many hundreds more earthquakes than the swarm we saw last year.

Nobody is telling you to panic or run around screaming that the sky is falling. Just make sure you keep an eye on the situation is all they're saying.

  • @bweazel Maybe because theres been 500+ quakes in Yellowstone in the last month ?

  • problem is it might be related to the recent quakes in haiti and chilli, its unusual to get such a large, co-ordinated mass of earthqaukes in such a (relatvily) small area , so some fear at least one of them could of set the others off. i find this all very intresting :)

  • why is the MEDIA ignoring this?....almost criminal...

  • Because they can.

  • @YellowstoneAlert - Because they have been ordered to...

  • @wilatemodel Maybe they are being told to. Lack of tourism might destroy the economy, or part of it. So they are told to hush hush...

  • @SwanKeeper6 ..sounds logical...

  • @wilatemodel

    because it's a hoax.

it wont happen for the next 50.000 - 70.000 years.

    don't worry about it

  • @BlueBoyX4 aahhh,..ok...i can trust you.....

  • @wilatemodel

If you want to, you can.

If you don't, you can just act all dramatic and say this is all a conspiracy and whatnot for all i care...

  • @BlueBoyX4 Yeah and I suppose we dont need to worry about abnormally severe tornadoes, quakes and floods either right.

  • @dacatac2012

    We do, smartass.

This won't happen so soon, like i said, it will probably take a long time for this to happen, so by then we will be long gone from this planet, or already extinct by other reasons.

  • getting close,...any ideas on a mask 4 the ash?....

  • A mask will clog up fast, using towels (which can be rinsed out quickly) is your best best.

  • At the time of our press release, 01.27.2010, the data for the 3.0 earthquake we just reported for 2010/01/27 19:52:16, has been tampered with, changed! For whatever reason, some one at the Control Center for the University of Utah Seismograph Stations has changed the data from 3.0 down to 2.9.

We can only assume this was done as not to alarm the public, or more so, to hide or mask any trends in quake strength from the general public. From here on out, we will make screen shots.

  • Get this straight. If THIS volcano erupts with only half the manitude some people think , all USA and sourroundin areas will be affected...as well as the entire planet. Kratatoa was much smaller and his eruption was heard world wide. Direct or Un directly, every living being in the planet will be affected.

  • @ PedroAfonso1967,

Yes, you are correct. Some go as far as to forecast that billions will die from starvation. It's believed that crops world wide will fail for at least 3 growing seasons, which will lead to a world wide food shortage. Greenhouse gardening, game & fishing will be your best bet. But seeds will be at a premium, so those who do not already have seeds, may not be able to afford them. People will naturally raid others for food which will further add to the death toll.

  • No is your answer. You will have massive ash fallout and the sun most likely will be blocked out for months. No one anywhere in the world is safe as a global winter will ensue for years setting off a mini ice-age. Food world wide will be a massive problem. Those with long term food supplies and live/hide underground away from thieves will have the best chance at survival.

  • is texas safe someone plz answer men

  • Is Texas safe? That depends on where you are at in Texas, and which way the prevailing winds are blowing at the time. Regardless, crops will fail for years to come world wide, and starvation will be the real killer as we will enter a mini-ice-age within months after the eruption. Thus no one in the world is safe unless you have stocked piled food for at least 3 years and a place to hide underground from those who will kill you for your food supplies.

    You asked.

  • I used to live in Casper Wyoming.

Pretty country, but I sleep nights better now. LOL.

  • fuck nature! screw us up trying to screw up herself.!

  • Thanks for reading the sign at the start of the video. Some things need to be considered however on the creation of yellowstone. Consider that God created the world with water above and under the crust. "The fountains of the deep broke forth" in the Days of Noah" "Mountains rose and Valleys sank down" For half a century the waters disapated forming oceans, the crust colapsed down trapping pools of under ground streams and caverns some water and some lava.
