I liked the older stuff better. I was disappointed with the vocals on the new album - and no, I don't mean Davey. He's doing a bang up job. I mean the clean vocals. ATCBB has some solid writing, but you can't tell me the melody in "Scarlet Shroud" comes anywhere near "Where We Are Now" on the last album or even "Sending Vessels" which had the same lineup.
