  • Talent, Beauty, Perfection.

  • How you figure that???

That's not what this song is about at all!!!

  • listen to the LYRICS.

  • celon dions verson i mean, or how ever you spell her name. listen to the lyrics.

  • It's about obsession, and that can be scary because you're not in control and you don't know where it's going to stop. It says that, at any point in somebody's life, when they loved somebody strongly enough and that person returns, a certain touch, a certain physical gesture can turn them from being defiant and disgusted with this person to being subservient again. And it's not just a pleasurable feeling that comes back, it's the complete terror and loss of control that comes back. *Jim Steinman

  • that was what Jim Steinman said, those are his words

  • muy linda cancion.

  • ich liebe dieses lied!!!

    sally_from_germany_x3

  • @ 1:29

  • Excellent SINGER!!!! One od the most unrated Rock Singers ever! The song sucks! I do not like Celine but Meat Loaf make this ong worthy!

  • Ugg. Don't say that. Celine is like fingernails on a chaulkboard.

  • I love the Celine Dion version..

But I think this version is the best!!

Marion's vocal range mix well with Meat Loaf's singing..

    So beautiful!!!

  • one of the best singers ever, period.

  • foarte frumos

dar cateodata nimik nu depinde de noi....

  • just wonderful!

  • Nope theres one on here that someone made though

  • I'm sorry but I have to disagree with you on that one.

  • sorry if this is s bad comment, but to me, Marion, looks a little like the woman who plays Melinda Gordon in the Ghost Whisperer which is on T.V.

  • meatloaf is one of the greatest singers i think.

he has such a powerful voice :)

    love it :)

  • this song was alwys meant to be sung as a duet.awesome!!

  • meat loaf is a great actor to !!!!!!

  • i like the way they made this version,..

  • I love meat loaf all the way and this song x

  • I like the way he sings

  • Sztem ugyanolyan jó,mint Celine Dion előadásában! :D

  • I think this is way stronger than Celine's.

  • I love this version. For me, this one is far better than Celine's version.

  • DAMN RIGHT

celine's version is fucked up, like her version of the power of love

    laura branigan rocks RIP

  • power of love was from franky goes to hollywood EPIC@dietcola475769472983

  • yeah but laura brannigan wasn't the original composer to power of love it was

    jennifer rush

  • i like celine better :)

  • do you know any kind of cure for itchy ring??

  • hydrocortisone cream and now fuck off of meatloaf's vids

  • thanks, will try it. which finger should i apply the cream with?

  • the only way to do it is to apply it with your own tongue

  • yeah, but the article about this song is surprisingly well cited, i was just responding to the people saying how meatloaf was singing celine dion's song.

pandora's box was actually the first group to record it and i still think that's the best version.

  • this song was written back in the 80s for meatloaf to put on bat II. check wikipedia

  • Not saying its not true, just beware of trusting everything ton Wikipedia. The sources can be very unreliable since anyone can post and make corrections. Many colleges will not allow the use of Wikipedia as a source for papers. Just thought I would throw that in for you. Meatloaf is awesome by the way.

  • yeah but it said that about half a year ago, and as me and my friend found out, Wikipedia is usually corrected within 30 seconds and your schools ip address blocked for having a conversation over Wikipedia in physics

  • ich liebe dieses lied es berührt v0ll di seele ich hab geweint w0 ichs gehört hab es is s0 schön ♥ diese beiden stimmen sind einfach einzigartig un wunderbar

  • Meatloaf and this brillant woman sing this song of miss Dion's song. The vocals are strong and wonderful.

  • omg this is wonderfull

  • you know, amazing vocals aside.

for a rock singer, to me anyways, he never actually sounded like a typical rock singer. he never needed a heavy band behind him, just a stage and a microphone

Hes the type of singer who could sing anything, then again the sign of true talent i suppose

  • Great version!

  • that was a little cruel

  • i think he was talking about Celine Dion's version of "it's all coming back to me now".. and then again, Meatloaf sang back on the 90's as well.. so he might have been making some kind of relation between those. huh?

  • this is from the meatloaf dvd! and marion is smoking hot !!!!

  • I like Meatloaf. I grew up on these songs and I still enjoy them now. So this one is my favorite, next to I would do anything for love (but I will not do that).

    Cheers,

  • no one cares just listen 2 it :\

  • the only reason celine got the song was cos wen jim stieman wrote it meat thought it was not right for his image at the time so either way its meatloafs song

  • Meatloaf is the only man who can sing a Celine Dion song and still be badass while doing it

  • actually, any man who can manage to sing a celine dion song is badass. period.

  • Marion Raven, she´s got her own channel at youtube now.Watch out MarionRavenTV,there´s a lot of great vids with very very good sound

  • jim stienmen wrote this song, the bat out of hell 2 album was suppose to release in the early 80's but poor meat had a breakdown. jim stienmen released it as his own titled bad for good. most tracks are on the bat out of hell 2 album, along with the early version of the song he wrote for bonnie tyler total eclipse, called, bad for good, original music, different words. i'll cheak up who actually sung this 1st.

  • It was actually first recorded by Pandora's Box, then Celine Dion, then Meatloaf. However the song was originally offered to Meatloaf. :)

  • celine sung it first i'm sure of it

  • Ehm, no.

  • out of meatloaf and celine it was celine thank you very much

  • if i remember correctly, it was supposed to be on bat 2, but didnt make the cut or something like that. but between bat 2 and bat 3, celine dion recorded this song and made it a big hit

  • who sang this first Meat or Celine? this is the firs time i see/hear this version. ¿anyone knows?

  • I thought it was celine. Now I'm not so sure.

  • This reminds me of the man who got away. Everyday I think of him and wish he was here with me

  • Oh gosh, I remember Marion Raven when she was a part of M2M. It's awesome that she got to do this song with Meatloaf. I always like her voice.

  • Somethings arent supposed to happen that way.

  • She reminds me of Soleil Moon Frye when she's in the mirror.

    Great song.

  • wonderful song!

  • brings memories back.....

  • Chris this is for U !

    Penny

  • How perfect would this song be on Fox's Glee?

  • I Know the emotion is really really there and all of meat Loafs songs make me wanna cry so powerful

    I LOVE MEAT LOAF

  • Fantastic song luv u meat loaf x

  • It's from Romanian Idol

  • i cried so much

  • It make me cry........

    so touching......

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! great great song.. u can feel each and every emotion!! the greatest song ever!!!

  • classic

  • ich liebe dieses Lied

  • One of the best songs of all time!

  • Geiles video

  • yeh he did get hot when he cut the hair....but id still bang him like a screen door with a voice like that!

  • Great song!

  • he got good lookin' haha.

i've never heard this song before..

but i really like it now(:

  • yeah but marion raven isnt singing she is just a video girl look it up

  • Marion Raven has toured with Meatloaf...

    She has a great voice.....

  • Whilst working with Desmond Child on new songs for her U.S. debut album Set Me Free, Raven met Meat Loaf, who was also working with Child on his latest album, Bat Out of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose. Child suggested that Raven join Meat Loaf on a duet for the song, "It's All Coming Back to Me Now," a song written by Jim Steinman

  • you got any PROOF of that? you cant go throwin accusations around like that

  • wot i dont get about the vid is why did she leave crying?

  • princes stile

  • Gänsehaut pur... ;-)

  • No it's not. Nice song

  • duh dude, it was a joke,

  • everyone's writing that meat loaf is so good and all that, and he is, there's no doubt. but marion raven is amazing too, i think.

  • Absolutely in this song they work so well. I think most people are writing about meatloaf becuase he's old now and his voice still makes you cry... metaphorically. It still has it's power, it's... uniqueness. But yes she is amazing

  • the song was originally by pandoras box,

a brilliant 80s musical show that never made it to the stage.

worth hunting down the original, i have a CD version.

its a meat loaf song, really though, in terms of you know it was really written for him. despite the fact they where not talking.

  • He might have wanted to wait and see how the song would be liked before making the video. But I really love this song.

  • Meatloaf is one of the greatest singers of all time, not only does he have a great Voice, but he has a great heart and a great spirit to go along with his music. This man pours his heart and soul in to his singing

  • he is also hot.

  • he's the original artist, she does it better tho..

  • If Meatloaf is the original artist for this song..why have i never seen the video before? I mean really this song as been out for yrs and this is the first time i am hearing this song.

  • Wrong. This song was WRITTEN to be performed by Meatloaf, it suits him more than anybody else on earth.

  • i think some of you are missing the artistic aspect of this arrangement. she is not supposed to be a strong standout vocal as in this arrangement she is a ghost from his past. in this video she is not singing with him she is singing too him from the other side. my interpretation.

  • word, your so damn right

  • I was thinking how would be a MEAT LOAF & CELINE DION duet.

  • Marion Raven have a great voice it's very soft and sweet

This is absolutely the best version

  • celines version is opsesive love that wont go away...this one is more tender...both versions are amazing but i think Celine did it vocaly much better

  • My dad love Meat Loaf!

    I think he's great ;)

  • Marion Raven's Voice..... weak? CStevens... I don't think you were listening to the same song. Celine Dion sings duets fine.... when its by herself... prima donna syndrome, after all. Besides, I've heard both versions... this song needs to be a duet... works so much better that way. And Meat Loaf is awesome.

  • Meatloaf give some meatloaf to Celiné, shes too damn skinny!!!!!!!

  • {celine dion verson is shit } meat loaf is way beater

  • Comment removed

  • Celine was too concerned with being heard. I mean check out most of her duets. Instead of being modest enough to sing with her partner.......hell with it.

  • Give me a break! This Marion is weak in the voice. Looks can't carry you through everything. Meatloaf and Celine: Hit the mark! Too bad they both don't sing it together. Ummmm?

  • Celine would be too strong, I think. Marion's voice is sweet, very feminine and soft. Almost sounds like a whisper which adds to the effect of the "memory" idea. As though she's really singing in his mind.

  • Jesus. Celine Dion doesn't even compare. There is so much raw emotion and chemistry between the pairing of the voices. Meatloaf's voice is so dark in comparison to Marion's and the nostalgia is just pouring out.

  • this is so much better than celine dion's version. meat loaf is just so good.

  • briliant

  • Celine Dion has nothing on this guy.

  • oh my god zeldaqueen, we know. just leave it to the simplicity of the emotions

meatloaf, we love you, you are one of the greats

  • A best fatman of world

  • Das Lied ist echt der Hammer ....

  • Marion is so beautiful.

  • I just fell in love with the ghost chick. Who is she?!

  • Marion Raven. =)

  • we forgive and forget and it's all coming back to me now

  • Hey! He says that in the song too !:D that was creepy!

  • the Bets Music Video ever,... this is my most favorite Music Video!!!!!

  • I love meatloaf! It's good for dinner too! ;)

  • beautifulbeautiful!

Marion Ravn, Viva la Norway!!!!!! :D

  • I don't actually no the plot to this video can someone tell me plz!?!

  • i don't exactly know it - but i think the woman died after an argument they had and and he thinks about her and all the nice memories of the moments they had are coming back to him

  • It's supposed to be that when the screen is tinted yellow Marion Raven's character is alive and when it's tinted blue she's dead.

When she and Meat Loaf went to a party, he sees the ghost of her former lover kiss her which leads to an argument, she drives off, and swerves when the ghost stands in the middle of the road. Thus, she dies and Meat loaf sings about their memories.

  • Wunderschönes Lied! Kann ich immer und immer wieder hören. :')

  • Diese Lied ist sehr schoen..

  • I'm a big celine fan but got to admit this is almost as good a version

  • This song belonged to meat loaf way before celine recorded it .

  • I like the harmony on this particular version. The woman singing with Meat loaf sounds like the woman who sings the song " At the Beginning".

  • I love this version, but i think it would be better if they changed the female singer (not that her voice is annoying or anything)

  • i really like the video and the rendition as well..but i'm not saying that meatloaf make it better than what celine did..there is similarity and differeences as well. each rendition has its own uniqueness!

  • This puts Celine's to shame. Simply amazing.

  • powerfull song

    5/5

i can cry about this song....

  • best song and video ever

  • This song was always Meatloaf's, he wrote it, but his manager at the time didnt like it, and it was given to Celene, but Meatloaf didnt like it her way so here he reclaims what was his in the first place.

  • Exactly, just like "No Matter What".

  • The song was originally written by Jim Steinman for his 'Pandora's Box' project. See their album 'Original Sin'. The Meat Loaf cover was the opening song on the Bat out of Hell III album released in 2006. The link arises due to Steinman's involvement with the production of Bat Out of Hell III.

But I agree with you that Meat's version is the better of the three versions simply because it sounds much better as a duet

  • Celine Dion's version is crap compared to this!

    This is a masterpiece.

  • 50x

  • Meatloaf is just so bloody brilliant!!

  • I'd sleep with Meatloaf before I'd sleep with Celon and I'm straight.

  • I second that!

  • no way this version is the best

  • long live the king

  • I don't think her voice is strong enough for a song like this, particularly opposite Meat who I doubt even needs a microphone on stage

  • What song have you been listening to? Marion Raven has one of the most beautiful voices I have ever heard. Very crisp and pure, and it's a perfect pendant to Meatloaf's voice. This is the best version of the song, and so much more than that.

  • The song wasn´t written for Meat or Celine...

Jim Steinman wrote it for the Girlband Pandorasbox.

You can find the original version here on youtube

  • Like that version - never heard it before.

Though I don't like Celine Dion as person very much, I think they'd sound very good together. He has such a strong voice and the female singer's voice is also beautiful, but... it's no celine...

  • A masterpiece!

  • I hope someday that he eats Celin Dion.

  • awesome

  • always love meatloaf he great
