It's about obsession, and that can be scary because you're not in control and you don't know where it's going to stop. It says that, at any point in somebody's life, when they loved somebody strongly enough and that person returns, a certain touch, a certain physical gesture can turn them from being defiant and disgusted with this person to being subservient again. And it's not just a pleasurable feeling that comes back, it's the complete terror and loss of control that comes back. *Jim Steinman
yeah, but the article about this song is surprisingly well cited, i was just responding to the people saying how meatloaf was singing celine dion's song.

LuueChriss u r a fuckin dumbass yea u may have grown up on his older shit like i would do anything but this song came out in 2007 that makes u only 2 yrs older than when the song came out u should be a certified dumbass go kill yourself
i think he was talking about Celine Dion's version of "it's all coming back to me now".. and then again, Meatloaf sang back on the 90's as well.. so he might have been making some kind of relation between those. huh?
I like Meatloaf. I grew up on these songs and I still enjoy them now. So this one is my favorite, next to I would do anything for love (but I will not do that).
the only reason celine got the song was cos wen jim stieman wrote it meat thought it was not right for his image at the time so either way its meatloafs song
jim stienmen wrote this song, the bat out of hell 2 album was suppose to release in the early 80's but poor meat had a breakdown. jim stienmen released it as his own titled bad for good. most tracks are on the bat out of hell 2 album, along with the early version of the song he wrote for bonnie tyler total eclipse, called, bad for good, original music, different words. i'll cheak up who actually sung this 1st.
if i remember correctly, it was supposed to be on bat 2, but didnt make the cut or something like that. but between bat 2 and bat 3, celine dion recorded this song and made it a big hit
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! great great song.. u can feel each and every emotion!! the greatest song ever!!!
Whilst working with Desmond Child on new songs for her U.S. debut album Set Me Free, Raven met Meat Loaf, who was also working with Child on his latest album, Bat Out of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose. Child suggested that Raven join Meat Loaf on a duet for the song, "It's All Coming Back to Me Now," a song written by Jim Steinman
Absolutely in this song they work so well. I think most people are writing about meatloaf becuase he's old now and his voice still makes you cry... metaphorically. It still has it's power, it's... uniqueness. But yes she is amazing
Meatloaf is one of the greatest singers of all time, not only does he have a great Voice, but he has a great heart and a great spirit to go along with his music. This man pours his heart and soul in to his singing
If Meatloaf is the original artist for this song..why have i never seen the video before? I mean really this song as been out for yrs and this is the first time i am hearing this song.
i think some of you are missing the artistic aspect of this arrangement. she is not supposed to be a strong standout vocal as in this arrangement she is a ghost from his past. in this video she is not singing with him she is singing too him from the other side. my interpretation.

no doubt Marion has a nice voice but I think she ruins this song. Shes from Scandinavia and trys to put a weird twang in her voice and I think it sounds kind of , well, awful.
Marion Raven's Voice..... weak? CStevens... I don't think you were listening to the same song. Celine Dion sings duets fine.... when its by herself... prima donna syndrome, after all. Besides, I've heard both versions... this song needs to be a duet... works so much better that way. And Meat Loaf is awesome.
Celine was too concerned with being heard. I mean check out most of her duets. Instead of being modest enough to sing with her partner.......hell with it.
Give me a break! This Marion is weak in the voice. Looks can't carry you through everything. Meatloaf and Celine: Hit the mark! Too bad they both don't sing it together. Ummmm?
Celine would be too strong, I think. Marion's voice is sweet, very feminine and soft. Almost sounds like a whisper which adds to the effect of the "memory" idea. As though she's really singing in his mind.
Jesus. Celine Dion doesn't even compare. There is so much raw emotion and chemistry between the pairing of the voices. Meatloaf's voice is so dark in comparison to Marion's and the nostalgia is just pouring out.
i don't exactly know it - but i think the woman died after an argument they had and and he thinks about her and all the nice memories of the moments they had are coming back to him
It's supposed to be that when the screen is tinted yellow Marion Raven's character is alive and when it's tinted blue she's dead.
When she and Meat Loaf went to a party, he sees the ghost of her former lover kiss her which leads to an argument, she drives off, and swerves when the ghost stands in the middle of the road. Thus, she dies and Meat loaf sings about their memories.

Like that version - never heard it before.
Though I don't like Celine Dion as person very much, I think they'd sound very good together. He has such a strong voice and the female singer's voice is also beautiful, but... it's no celine...
