hey nocasterboy,

this very nice tune originally doesn`t has any feedbacking in it. But maybe it is easier for you to practise with echoes, don´t know by now :-) BUT with the right settings: there are two delays, non feedback: 450ms going into 1800ms Delay it´ll be a little more tricky to keep the beat, that´s what it makes so unique sounding and playing ...

This is not that difficult to do. Its a delay set to the same volume as the original played note with a long feedback. Brian May did a similar thing years ago on Brighton Rock. I'm not the world 'greatest' bass player but I dont see this as being a big deal.

WahWah und Distortion sind wohl doch nicht das Non-Plus-Ultra ;)Vorallem zeigt es mal, dass Bass und Plektrum kein Tabu sind, im Gegenteil, hier ist es sogar unvermeidlich und nötig. Dein Equipment interessiert mich auch. Ist das ein Tremolo an deinem Bass?

450ms delay geht in 1800ms delay (beide ohne feedback) - sonst nix. tremolo system ist von kahler of dem (modifizierten) status bass.

bei dieser videoaufnahme (für ein französisches musikmagazin) stimmten die delayzeiten nicht 100%ig, weil es schnell gehen musste, drum hängt's rhythmisch etwas, aber auf dem kommenden "live cuts" album stimmt's dafür haargenau...

Hab mal versucht herauszufinden mit welchen Geräten Du spielst, aber weder auf Deiner etwas komplizierten (!) Webseite noch bei google habe ich Infos zu Deinem rig gefunden.

Was benutzt Du live an Bass, Verstärker, Boxen und Effekten und was ist das für ein Bass in dem Video? Du spielst hier in dem Video direkt ins Mischpult mit delay und sowas wie Hall, stimmts?
