(I am not Korean i am canadian just making sure those asada fans that its not only the Koreans who loves her)

  • Poor Rachel- the highest ranked, most consistent American skater, who may have suffered questionable downgrades in Vancouver is merely an afterthought in this piece!

  • WOW look at all the jealousy.. there so many times japan won (diving) and stuff like that were korea isnt even on the list cuz they no good, do u see them rubbing salt in your wounds? Just stop being all weirdos. U can clearly see she was disappointed in HERSELF, she isnt a sore loser otherwise she wouldnt be hugging Kim Yuna. Stop being all delusional and making things up in your head. I watch the thingy and she was disappointed but she smiled and looked like she accepted it. I'd be the same.

  • KIM YUNA YOU ARE AMAZING. KEEP IT GOING! WE WILL SUPPORT YOU!

  • weird how people keep telling yuna haters to stop being mean and to get a life, but they don't tell mao haters the same, when both need to get a life

  • @vickyc99 Because it's mao's fans obligation to defend their idol ^_^

  • ramix2006, is it true that you are spamming insulting comments on every Yuna video? Please you need to see a doctor.

  • ramix2006 = ugly maobot

  • ramix2006/ get a life!! idiot

  • She is incredible olympic champion. I really surprise about her skating performance!!! Queen it over her rivals. Perfect and huge jump and beautiful expression. Queen Yuna has everything.

  • Queen yuna~ congratulations~~~~~~~ You are the Best Olympic gold medalist!!!!!!!!

  • Olympic Champion Yu-na Kim. She had done perfect program. I'm proud of her. Thank you, My hero Yuna.

  • absolute Champion Yu-Na Kim !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • yuna kim! WOW!! XD

  • Yuna & Joannie had very impressive podium manners at the Olympics. They are mature girls & great sportswomen! Good luck to them :D

  • Yes, she is a real CHAMPION!

  • To witness Kim on the ice is to evoke the same sentiment you get when sprinter Usain Bolt is waiting for the stick in the relay.

  • 1:19

  • ahah usa figure skating broady..

  • does anyone know what channel her next competition around the end of march is on?? plz reply. is it like espn, nbc, etc???????

  • I was at the event, The real name for the gold medalist is Yu-na Kim, Not Kim Yu-na!

  • actually we koreans put our last name in the beginning. so it is Kim Yuna. in america she would be called Yuna kim.

  • the japanese are mad because no1 likes sony and toyota is fucking up!! lol

  • She is awesome!!!

  • She is awesome!!!!

  • Kim yuna( Korean woman )skated beautifully, but she flits across the ice, as the Goddess, she artistic, technical mastery and light as a feather

  • @009kandata same goes for you again. Figure skating is not about jumps. it's the composition and how you express it. relying on one "desperate move" actually looks pretty desperate.

  • I second your opinion. But look at shameless Japenis pulling out their racist cards on Rochette's bronze claiming the judges intentionally downgraded Nagasu. If anything they should be grateful for Mao's unfathomable silver.

  • Mao wins a silver despite her two major fuckups.. it's fish.. raw fish fishy.

  • Long Live the Queen!

  • KIM YUNA is phenomenal. shes a real sport, and she really showed it out there. only at the age of 19! she really left a mark on me. Even though im Canadian and was cheering for joannie rochette, i was more enthusiastic about watch kim yuna than our own Canadian.

she has that power of capturing people.

    i really love her.

  • @cindycao129

I am Korea born Australian and I was cheering for both Yuna and Joannie.

It would have been better if Joannie won Silver.

I personally think Joannie's performance was a lot better than Mao's.

Joannie was truly special, she was very strong but yet .. hmm graceful.

  • @colesmier I disagree. Firstly: there should have been higher difference between Mao's and Joannie's scores for SP Secondly: Joannie's performances weren't as difficult as Mao's (three 3A!!) Thirdly: Mao made 2 mistakes in FS, but Joannie made 2 mistakes too. If olympic game hadn't been in canada she would have never got so high score. Maybe the bronze, but surely not 71,36 points for SP.

  • WOOO!!!

She absolutely rocked in this performance and deserved the full credit that she got!!!! Keep it up!!!!

  • YEAH Kim Yuna Won! Go Korea!!!!! 잘했어, 김연아 :DDDDDDD

  • @1629331000

here is another No gold medal sore loser jap.lol ~~~

  • I don't see how she's emotionless. All of her recent performances have moved me deeply. She moves with the music so perfectly she makes me feel the music. Her skating seems like dancing to me. She cried right after she finished her performance. It's clear she has great passion and love for what she does.

  • she is just magic :D x

  • @SanctusSentenita said "Bring your heart and soul to the rink or stay home". You should say to Mao & Joannie and the rest of the skaters except Kim. She was the only one who expressed her emotions WITH the music. No argument. Case closed.

  • It is so funny to see the Japanese and the Koreans arguing... As a Korean myself, I think all this arguing isn't going to change the results --;

  • hey is Kim Yu Na from Korea? Disqualified! LOL just joking ppl calm down. Good job for her.

  • this joke is so retarded

  • It won't be available for the public. 2010 Olympic figure skating is completely blocked. Sorry.

  • i cant find her performance she got the record for can somebody post me a link plz!!!

  • It was so amazing. Kim Yu Na go! from the UK.

  • GO KOREA!!

  • @moonflower0924 yeah you would know about it better than the official olympic judges. Pretentious much

  • you can justify it by calling me pretentious

but it's a matter of taste and opinion so deal. and dont worry she already got the gold.

  • I agree with you completely. She should have won, but not with such a high score. She did great but was emotionless (clearly faked). Skating is an art, and art needs emotion. She isn't that great an artist & needs to work on that, improving on more than just a lack of grace. If she can't balance technical strength with an overt manifestation of love for the sport then she's not representing the sport like an Olympic champion should. simply put: Bring your heart AND soul to the rink or stay home.

  • Unless you're an international judge. Your opinion is irrelevant. Yuna is known for her expressions, what are you watching? did you see how Mao hardly smiled.

  • @stirrednotshaken7 - did I comment about Mao? Nope. Additionally, was I talking to you? Nope. Comment was directed at @moonflower0924, making your comment and opinion therefore as irrelevant as you believe mine to be. Case closed.

  • @stirrednotshaken7 - BTW, I'm sorry about being so blunt. Didn't mean for it to come off that way. I'm no harda**, I just tell it like I see it. And I agree with you, Mao hardly smiled. That being the case, though, I don't think any of the top three actually belonged in first place. But the places were given, so I know my opinion was irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. I wasn't giving it so that it'd matter though. I was just replying to someone that had a similar opinion. That's all.

  • @SanctusSententia,

    Who are you referring to?

If you are referring Kim , I totally disagree with you. Many say she was the only skater whose skating went together with the music along with her facial expression. This area score was the highest. If you think Kim got too high score, then I would say Mao & Joannie got extremely high scores as well. They didn't deserve to get over 200 with such many mistakes. Read NYT & LA times & AP & etc. The world recognized that.

  • Lol, surely, you aren't saying the population of the general majority is right are you?

My opinion's just that - mine. And it won't be changed until I've good reason to make it do so. Did Mao and Joannie get scores too high for what they gave? Yesiree. But figure skating, as is being shown in the men's area, is very subjective, so suffice it to say that the fact that this is a first for Korea might play a part in what happened. Operative word: Might.

  • @SanctusSententia

I think you need to open your eyes and see clearly. It is nothing to do with Korea's first time being play a part in what happened. Even to me, a Canadian, I give my full credit to Kim's performance. She was different from other players. Oh yea, this is my own opinion that happens to be agreeable to ALL JUDGS and the rest of the world!!!!

  • Skating may or may not be an art, but figure skating is a sport. Emotion is totally irrelevant to the score you earn.

Sure energy, speed, overall style and enthusiasm in the performance plays a role. And in each of these areas Yu-Na was outstanding. But whether or not she is smiling or if her face shows emotion while she skates has absolutely nothing to do with her score.

It is silly to even suggest that you can even tell what's in her heart by watching her. But regardless she was perfect.

  • Then skaters should perform w/o sequins and music, showing only the technique b/c its obvious that artistic expression is uncared for by fans and judges now. Im no judge but I love figure skating, have done my research and dont want the sport weakened by supposed 'phenoms' that're just glorified robots. Her tense style and just above avg enthusiasm has nothing to do with her face. Figure skating is too subjective a sport for points to depend only on technical execution.<- that's my last comment.

  • Whether or not she puts emotion into her performance or not is totally subjective. Some people see the emotion some people don't. Just because you don't get it doesn't mean everybody feels the same way. I see a lot of emotion in her performance and find it very moving. The only way to fairly judge the performance is by technical and artistic execution.

  • Spectacular performance by Yuna Kim...

  • WOW! 16 yrs old Mirai Nagasu finished fourth! Great job !

She'll become the champion of 2014 OP!
