Thanks for the response. I actually got the M9 replaced and have had no issues with the replacement. The one I had must have just not been shielded correctly.
Is your electricity grounded? Grounded or clean electricity usually clears this up. Are you near any large radio towers? If you are, then you're whole house, guitar, cables and M9 might be a giant antenna if you're not grounded or using clean electricity. Does this happen you just plug your guitar into your amp alone? I'm thinking it should. Try bringing your M9 to a friends house and trying it there, do you get the same results?
That sounds like your picking up a radio signal through your guitar pickups. It happens all the time. I don't think this is the m9's fault.
